The story is about Juana Perez a 17 year old, who is humble, happy, has great plans for her future and will go on to study journalism abroad. Unfortunately, due to human error in artificial insemination in the wrong body, Juana finds out that she will become a mother much to her disappointment and finds herself linked to a man whom she has not met before. Time unveils the truth to Mauricio De la Vega, a magazine publisher whose disappointment in his wife Carlota's inability to conceive a child is unbearable. His life-threatening illness only increases his obsession with having a child, so once he realizes that the hospital has artificially inseminated Juana by mistake, he desperately searches for her.

Cerita yang mengisahkan mengenai Juana Perez, seorang budak yang berumur 17 tahun, yang merendah diri, penuh ceria, mempunyai impian masa depan & akan pergi melanjutkan kursus bidang kerwartanan di luar negara. Tetapi, atas kesilapan manusia di dalam permanian beradas pada orang yang salah, Juana dapat tahu yang dia akan menjadi seorang ibu, berasa kecewa & telah dikait hubungkan pada seorang lelaki yang dia belum pernah bertemu . Masa telah membuka kebenaran kepada Mauricio de la Vega, seorang penerbit majalah yang kecewa dengan isterinya, Carlota yg tidak boleh mempunyai anak menderita. Mauricio yang mempunyai penyakit yang mengancam nyawa hanya menambahkan keinginannya mempunyai anak, dia sedar pihak hospital telah membuat permanian berhadas pada Juana dengan tidak sengaja, dia bertekad untuk mencarinya.
