De la Vega's house: Carlota was on d phone wth Desiree. She was angry @ her for giving him her phone no. She demanded why she simply gave the no to that hitman. Both Desiree & Carlota do not want 2 be responsible in handing out money to d hitman. Desiree said, it's either she followed what she suggest or let her see Juana delivers Mauricio's baby. By then nobody will be able 2 separate them apart.

Hospital: Juana returned d place where she sat wth Mauricio. She was relieved that Mauricio had left. She sat down & began 2 sob while talking 2 h/self.

Rogelio's apartment: Desiree wth her robe & a towel on top of her head… was waiting on d line 4 Carlota 2 answer. She congratulated Carlota when she agreed 2 follow her suggestion. Carlota agreed 2 c d hitman 2morrow but needs 2 visit her doctor first. Carlota wants Desiree 2 pick her up & they can go 2gether. Carlota hung up & made that 'jeesh, what a jerk' look.

Hospital: Mauricio seemed 2 b ‘dragging’ his feet along d corridor leaving d hospital. He thought twice whether 2 find Juana & bring her away frm there… He leaned against the wall & thought how he's going to keep his promise 2 Juana.

De la Vega's house/upstairs: Carlota was on d bed, trying 2 calm h/self. She tidied her hair while thinking of the evil agreement wth Desiree. It gives her d jitters. She needs 2 go far away frm there, wth Rafael & Mauricio… so that if s/thing happened, nobody will suspect her. All she has 2 do is try 2 convince Mauricio.

Rogelio's apartment: Desiree sat on the sofa, talking 2 h/self… She won't let Rogelio conquer her or let Carlota & Juana fighting bcos of Mauricio. She had already plan 2 make it look like Carlota 2b responsible when Juana is murdered. She sipped her drink & smiled wickedly.

Hospital: David was trying very hard 2 move both of his leg 2 d floor. He pushed his thoughts to try 2 walk… Juana entered & saw David trying 2 do s/thing… The minute Juana called out David's name, David's face was already heading towards d floor. She was confused; don't know what 2 do…

Positivo: Shiva & the gang were in the lounge room, eating pizzas. It reminded her that David had used 2 buy them pizzas. Popeye brought up the subject of David. Brandy was pissed off when LaBibi said Juana is d only 1 that will make David happy. Dora scolded LaBibi for being so blunt wth her remarks.

Hospital: Juana was trying 2 help David up but she he wouldn't let her. He was screaming in agony as he could not move his legs & proclaimed that he is handicap. Juana went out & called a nurse 2 help David. David kept on screaming & crying @ d same time. Juana was feeling helpless.

Positivo/@ near d window: Brandy was crying & talking 2 h/self. Why must she cry 4 David as she never really existed in his heart. She suddenly realized Humberto was listening & watching her all awhile. He felt sad for her. She quickly wiped her tears while Humberto smiled @ her.

Hospital: The nurse & her assistant had helped David on d bed, told him 2 calm down & not gave up easily. He was being negatve but later agreed, as she told him not 2 stress Juana as she was heavily pregnant. The nurse & her assistant left Juana & David 2 b alone. David continued 2 talk 2 Juana.

Positivo: Humberto continued 2 coaxed Brandy & brought her 2 his photo lab. He offered 2 help her & wish to be her friend. She got mad as she assumed that every guy only wants her as a friend. Brandy suddenly kissed Humberto (this scene was cut b4 we see them smooching).

Hospital/David’s room: David told Juana that she looked glum. She said… don't talk nonsense. David said, he's not feeling well... He can't control h/self, felt like a burden 2 e/body else & can't accept it. She comforts him by telling that she won't go a/where & she'll wait 4 him. They held out their hands 2gether.

Positivo: Humberto suddenly pushed Brandy aside... Brandy was a bit surprised... She told him not to feel guilty; as she's quite used to it bcos she's like a cube of ice. Any guy that touched her doesn’t feel a thing. Humberto tried 2 explained but Brandy was upset & left him. He said, if only he could explain...

De la Vega's house: Amparito went 2 d door & saw Mauricio got in. She told him, she was worried of her daughter, as she looked unwell. She wants him 2 take a look. He asked abt Rafael's condition. She said, his fever has subside & asleep @ d moment. He went upstairs while she looked on.

Upstairs/in d bedroom: Mauricio got in & saw Carlota on d bed. She went 2 him & puts on her saddest face as she said, they'll need a vacation 2 relax. She's convinced that a vacation is good 4 them. Mauricio was giving that 'blur' face.

Rogelio’s apartment: Desiree was staring blankly & was sipping her drink (a scene got cut by ntv7) when all of a sudden she heard noises o/side the door. She went 2 see who it was… She opened the door & saw Rene with her mother. She was glad to see her mother & they both hugged e/other.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Carlota asked him, when was the last time they go on a holiday? She wants 2 go s/where out frm the city… @ on a beach… Rafael needs it too. She pleaded to Mauricio. Mauricio suddenly remembered his conversation wth Juana @ d hospital. Carlota was waiting for his answer.

Rogelio’s apartment: Desiree’s mother was worried. At the back, Rene was seen touching s/thing. She told her that she had asked Rene 2 find her. Desiree told Rene 2 leave them alone. He was reluctant but agreed in the end.

De la Vega’s house/living room: Aunt Eva was with Rafael while Amparito was sitting on a sofa & looking through d magazines. She saw Carlota & Mauricio walked down d stairs smiling. Amparito smiled back at them & asked her daughter why. Mauricio asked Rafael how he was doing… he said he’s fine. Carlota cheerfully told Rafael 2 listen up as she informed d good news; they’re going on a vacation. Amparito was seen smiling broadly while Aunt Eva gave the odd look @ him. Mauricio forced his smile…

Hospital: David raised his concern to Juana about his effort of not able to recover on his own. Juana gave her moral support & told him, she’ll be by his side to guide & remind him. David cried softly while Juana bent down to kiss his hands.

Night comes…

Perez house: Azucena saw Manuel packing T-shirts & assumed it as a gift. He corrected & told her, he had found a buyer, which will help him sell his shirts by consignee note. Azucena reminded him to be careful when dealing wth strangers, as his hard work will be gone if that person doesn’t pay up as promised. Manuel sensed s/thing wrong wth his mother… he asked her what’s wrong. She informed that Father Jose had visited her that morning & asked so many questions. Her sentenced did not finished as the doorbell rang… Manuel said to continue their conversation later. He opened the door… it was Enriqueta. Azucena looked at Manuel & Enriqueta smiling @ e/other.

Hospital/David’s room: A.Maria entered… saw Juana & David sleeping soundly. Her daughter’s head was resting on David’s chest. She slowly closed the door behind her & talked 2 h/self. How suitable they look & how Juana looked like an angel when she’s sleeping. Juana woke up suddenly & realized that her mother was there. David woke up as he heard Juana talking. They briefly exchanged words. She told them that she had brought food for them to eat.

Perez house/living room: Manuel looked happy 2 c Enriqueta. She told him that she’s still waiting 4 his answer. Manuel avoided it by showing her shirts that he had designed. He gave her one & she liked it. She confessed to him about his commitment. She sensed Manuel is trying to avoid s/thing. She said she wants more in their relationship. She finally suggested that it’s best 4 them to breakup & appreciate if he doesn’t call her a/more. Manuel was speechless… The doorbell rang… Manuel was distracted as Maria entered. She brought her bags along with Micky helping her from behind. Maria asked Manuel where she could put her stuff… Maira noticed that she had interrupted their private conversation…

De la Vega’s house/living room: Mauricio was glad 2 c Rafael happy as they’ll be on a holiday. Rafael told him that he liked to be by his side. He asked Mauricio whether he could see Juana & inform her before they go… w/out Carlota’s knowledge.

Perez house/living room: Manuel told Enriqueta not to hurry about their relationship. She had mistaken him for trying 2 avoid her. Enriqueta said she does not want to waste her time & she’s being honest about it.

De la Vega’s house/living room: Mauricio gave permission 2 Rafael… he can see Juana 2morrow. Rafael was overjoyed, couldn’t wait till 2morrow 2 c Juana & their holiday. He hugged Mauricio & went upstairs. Aunt Eva approached Mauricio & wanted 2 know about his vacation.

Rogelio’s office: Rogelio told Camacho to listen carefully. He has found a better way 2 teach Mauricio a lesson by accusing him of killing his own friend – Francisco. He liked the idea of Mauricio going to jail.

De la Vega’s house/living room: Mauricio told Aunt Eva that he doesn’t have a heart 2 hurt Carlota & c Rafael being so sad all the time. He has agreed to go along with Carlota’s suggestion. He told her that he saw Juana @ d hospital. Juana asked him to promise not to call or see her again. He’s not sure whether he can fulfil that promised.

Rogelio’s office: Camacho repeated what Rogelio had said about digging back the dead body of Francisco & rebury it @ Mauricio’s cabin. He then searched for the gun that was used to kill Francisco. He searched in his cabinet & drawers but nowhere to be found. He was worried.

Rogelio’s apartment: Desiree was wth her mother. Her mother was glad her daughter is living comfortable & could afford luxury. Her mother told her that she had spoken 2 a guy who she assumed 2 b her man. She was shocked & quickly told her mother that Rogelio is considered hell & devil 2 her. Her mother got scared, as she feared for her safety.

Rogelio’s office: Rogelio got furious. His drawers & papers were scattered as he had searched all over for the gun. He asked Camacho & he denied of taking it.

Hospital/David’s room: David saw Juana sleeping on the makeshift bed. He remembered when he last saw Juana sleeping at the motel. Juana suddenly woke up & noticed David wasn’t sleeping. He told her abt his worries of not able 2 take care of her. She reassured him again that it’s her turn now 2 to repay what he’s done.

Perez house/back garden: Manuel was dusting out an old mattress while Azucena & Maria looked from aside. He got no choice but to sleep in that bed, as Maria will need to use temporary his bedroom.

Morning comes…

Perez house/back garden: Manuel could not sleep… he kept on thinking what Enriqueta had said yesterday. He knew she was right that he’s running away frm commitment.

Hospital/David’s room: Juana woke up in pain… she couldn’t sleep, as the baby in her stomach was very active (kicking) through the night. She felt her stomach… David on the other hand, saw Juana feeling restless… She told him her ordeal. He asked whether he could touch her stomach to feel the baby. Juana let him touch & David was smiling.

De la Vega’s house/downstairs: Desiree was wth Carlota. Carlota said they should hurry up, as she’s scared if s/body saw her wth Desiree. Desiree reminded what they had discussed about. She asked Desiree 2 wait awhile as she had left her bag upstairs. Carlota was saying s/thing when suddenly she noticed Desiree was looking up above her. Carlota turned her head around & saw Mauricio staring at them. He sensed s/thing amiss… Carlota was restless as tried to hide her fears…

'sólo a tu lado quiero vivir ... sin ti mi cielo se vuelve gris ...dime que hacer si no estás aqui...'
