Mauricio yelled at Juana to come down or else he’s coming up there to get her. She yelled back that she’ll come down in a while after taking a few more pictures. Mauricio is also angry with Popeye because he didn’t prevent her from endangering herself. When she came down he was so angry at her for endangering his baby that he really let go of his anger on her. He told her she is irresponsible because she wasn’t thinking about her pregnancy while she enjoys herself up there. She should be more rational and think about the consequences before acting on it. What was she thinking to go up the ladder and put her baby at risk if she falls? He can’t believe she just did what she did. He has never been so angry in his life. She told him she knows he cares about her but he shouldn’t say things that hurt her feelings. He calms down a little and told her she should be careful with her pregnancy and think not only about herself but also about her baby. She asked him if he cares about her baby because he has feelings for her. He didn’t say anything and she concluded that that must be it, because there is no reason why he should care about her baby unless he’s in love with her. She told him about her feelings for him and he looked guilty because he cares only about his baby and not her. He’s afraid of losing his baby which is his last chance to have a kid of his own flesh and blood. He brought her in his car to the fire department because he doesn’t want her to ride with the truck to the fire department to get her Pitusa. Before they went on their separate ways, Mauricio silently asked Juana to take good care of his child. While Juana is overjoyed that Mauricio cares for her. Popeye told her to take it easy with the bike on their way back. When they arrived at the office, she asked him not to tell anyone about what happened between her and Mauricio because she doesn’t want a scandal. He told her ok but he’s not happy with it. He went to see Enriqueta to report about what happened and told her how Juana went up the ladder and took some great pictures. She told him Juana should be more careful because she’s pregnant. He told her that is exactly what Mauricio told Juana. Enriqueta was surprised to hear that Mauricio was at the scene and his reaction to what Juana did was intriguing and something to think about.

Brandy wasn’t very happy with how things are going between her and David. On top of that, this office boy is after her and she’s not interested in him and no matter how she explained it to him, he kept on making his lame moves towards her. He wouldn’t take no for an answer and kept following her around like a puppy. David saw it when they came into the lounge and after Brandy left, he gives some tips to the guy on how to make Brandy fall for him. Brandy was waiting for Enriqueta to give her tomorrow’s schedule and when she got it, she was dismayed and angry to find that Juana will be going out station together with David. David asked Enriqueta to put Juana on the assignment with him so he could woo her. Brandy went to see Juana and tried to convince her to give an excuse and refuse to do the assignment with David. Juana told her she couldn’t do that because she’s a responsible person and Brandy should remember that Juana is on a probation period and she‘ll have to do whatever Enriqueta told her to do without question. Then she told Brandy about how worried Mauricio was for the wellbeing of her child which might indicate that he really cares for her. She looked all dreamy when she talked about Mauricio.

Ana Maria was in the ladies changing room at the gym sitting on the bench and thinking whether she should go and confront Mauricio on what happened between him and her daughter. Carlos opened the door and she was surprised when he comes in. she told him he shouldn’t be in the girl’s changing room but he told her he has already counted and all the women are gone except for her. He came to sit beside her and asked her what she’s doing. She told him she’s thinking about whether to see a man or not. He asked her if he should be jealous. She told him the man is interested in her daughter and not her. He was combing her hair with his fingers while talking and she put her head on his shoulder and suddenly a few women came in and on a spur of a moment, Carlos comes up with a lie that she was suffering from kalium deficiency and feeling a bit faint and he was helping her. She made the necessary noises and they left as quickly as possible. They went to his apartment and Carlos asked her questions until she agree that there is no reason to make matters worse by visiting Mauricio. Later, he asked her if she wants to go for a ride on his bike and she agrees. But first, he told her he has to get a cheque from a hotel.

Petra was not going home without getting what she came for. She told him all kinds of excuses to get him to fix the iron for her. She thought to herself ‘why did he have to be so handsome?’ I hope he wouldn’t find out that the iron belongs to the neighbour. He thought to himself that he just can’t discard her just like that if he were to have a good business relation with all his customers. ‘I wish it was Enriqueta who was sitting there instead of Petra. Then I would drag her to sit very close to me.’ The phone ring and it was for Mano. Enriqueta was on the line and she told him she was sorry she ended their conversation so abruptly because she’s in the middle of something. He told her right now he’s in the middle of something and hung up. Enriqueta looked at the receiver and wondered if he’s angry with her.

Salvador came for a visit and spilled his heart out to Azucena. She said she knew just from looking into his eyes that he’s in love and the girl is her daughter Ana Maria. He told her that what he felt for Ana is something pure and sincere, but it seems that Ana does not returned his feelings. He also asked Azucena’s forgiveness for being so open with his feelings. She told him it was her who started the conversation about amor. He said that the first time he saw Ana, he was hooked. He couldn’t help himself. She looked so helpless when the school decided to kick Juana out and she come to ask for his help. At that moment, he felt something stirring inside him for the first time in his life. He wanted to protect her and keep her safe. He also said that although she looked so strong on the outside, she’s weak and needed protection and someone to take care of her. Azucena told him that he is the first man that she liked and wanted for her daughter. He is so nice, polite and very gentlemanly.

Mauricio continued to his destination which is to see the representatives from Miami at the hotel. When he arrived, he kept thinking about what could have happened if Juana slipped on the ladder. He would never see his child. He would loose any hope of getting a child of his own. What was she thinking to act in such an irresponsible manner? In the meeting room, they discussed and come to an agreement. They will be meeting the shareholders very soon. The reps also praise the beauty of the women in Venezuela.

Humberto come for a visit to Mauricio’s house to see his sister and asked her how she’s doing. They talked about their mother and he told her she should just leave him. She told her bro that Amparito is still hoping for the day when Rogelio will come back to her. She told her bro about Mauricio asking her to help where Juana is concerned. She told him, to keep Mauricio by her side she’ll have to do it. She’s going to fight for her love. Desiree came to take the rest of her things from the guest room. Humberto told his sister that yesterday when he stayed the night in that room, he didn’t see any female articles in there. ‘The cheek of that woman to come to their house while she’s having an affair with their father’. Carlota told him to leave her alone because she’s important as she’s a shareholder and her vote is needed by Mauricio if he is to continue his magazine. In Mauricio’s bedroom, Desiree went through the drawers and took out some of his robes and sprayed his perfume on it. (that’s really sick, like an unknown stalker going through your things without you knowing it.- Sofia) Desiree told herself that she needed this if she’s going to be able to stand Rogelio’s amorous attentions on her.

Carlos and Ana entered the hotel and she was very impressed with the decor. Carlos told her they can come back later and spend the night at the hotel if she wants. She told him ‘you’re making me blush’. Carlos asked her if she wants to come with him, she told him she’ll wait in the reception area and while she was waiting, she saw Mauricio coming out of the lift with his business buddies. She said to herself ‘this couldn’t be, I didn’t go looking for him but fate intervened and bring him to me.’ She yelled: Yo! Mr. Mauricio De La Vega! and he looked up.
