Ana Maria rudely
interrupted Mauricio while he’s still talking to the reps and those guys felt
uncomfortable but Mauricio handled the situation like a pro. He told the guys they’ll
continue their discussion later in the coming meeting. He told Ana to calm down and they
go to somewhere private where they can talk quietly. She told him that she’s very
short tempered and when she’s angry, she doesn’t care who’s there or what
they are doing hence the rude interruption while he was talking. He told her to calm down
again as she seems to be walking to and fro to with restless energy. She said she
can’t calm herself when she’s so angry with him for what he’s doing to her
daughter. She told him, if she can make herself to become a man, she’ll trash him.
She told him that her daughter has fallen deeply in love with him and he’s going to
hurt her. She told him Juana inherited her genes and she’s weak when it comes to man
who knows their way around a woman and who’s a smooth talker. She asked him to leave
her daughter alone and she’s going home because she’s tired and she doesn’t
know what to think or say and left. After she was gone, he told himself to calm down. He
wondered if he really is making Juana suffer by being around her. He told himself it could
be true as not only Juana’s uncle, her grandma but now her mom came to warn him to
leave their beloved Juana alone. Ana went down and looked for Carlos but he was gone and
this made her really angry and she said to herself that the men in her life are never
there whenever she needed them. Earlier Carlos waited for her but he got bored and went
home.
Mauricio went to see Ricardo after he calmed down a little. Then when he was in
Ricardo’s office he was so tired with all the lies and how his life was going that he
started to yell to release his tension and stress. He yelled to the world saying that
Juana is the mother of his child. Ricardo told him to calm down and tell him exactly
what’s going on. Mauricio told him that he’s so fed up with his life. He also
said that he should have told Juana the truth when he found out that she was pregnant with
his kid. Ricardo told Mauricio that he didn’t tell her because he has special
feelings for her. These feelings already existed even before he knew about the pregnancy.
She wasn’t just another girl to him. She is Sol, the sunshine who shines his life
with warmth. When Mauricio heard this, he smiled and looked happy despite his
frustrations. Ricardo asked him what he would do if it was another woman who’s
carrying his baby. Mauricio told him that he would tell the woman upfront she’s
carrying his baby and the pregnancy is very important to him. Ricardo said that’s the
problem, it’s because this is Juana carrying his baby.
Juana told Enriqueta that she couldn’t go with David because she’s pregnant and
if there’s any complication, David would be useless and she was not feeling very
well. Enriqueta wasn’t buying any of her stories. She asked Juana ‘didn’t
you tell me that you feel better after the pregnancy?’ If you can’t do this
assignment now, then we may have problems later. Juana’s afraid she might loose her
job, so she agreed. Brandy was waiting for her outside and she was telling Ines that Juana
will never go with David because they are best friends since they were children. But when
Juana came out, she told Brandy, Enriqueta didn’t buy her story so she’ll have
to go. Brandy looked really down. While they were sitting at their desk, David looked on
while the office boy tried the lines David taught him on Brandy. Later when Juana sat with
Popeye, David leaned from the back of the chair and told Juana tomorrow they’ll be
together while Brandy looked on helplessly.
Ana came home and went to her room to be alone and try to calm herself. Mano knocked on
the door but she told him she wanted to be alone because she wasn’t feeling very
well. Juana came in and asked her mother what’s wrong with her and if she’s
feeling ill. Ana told her she’s fine but she went to see Mauricio. Juana pulled at
her hair because she couldn’t believe her mother went to see Mauricio when she
specifically told her not to. But she was happy when her mother told her Mauricio is very
handsome, and perfect, has a smooth way about him etc. Juana jumped on the bed and told
her mom that is the reason she falls for him. He’s her prince, who protects her and
makes her feel very happy. Her mother told her there’s no such things as prince in
real life. They only exist in other countries or otherwise busy slaying dragons. Juana
told her mom they do exist and Mauricio is one of them. Ana told her daughter to forget
him but Juana said she’s very sorry but she could never forget her first love.
David and Carlos were in their apartment and Carlos was complaining about how the old
women left him at the hotel and how he has to admit defeat and he couldn’t always get
what you want in life. He saw that David was not listening to him and so he left the guy
alone. David thought to himself that tomorrow is their day. David and Juana’s day,
all alone without any interference from anyone.
Carlota and Humberto were waiting for Desiree to come down but she’s taking a long
time coming back. Carlota was about to go up and looked for her but told not to by her
brother. She wouldn’t listen. She has taken only a few steps when Desiree came down
and said she’d taken all her things and thank you for the hospitality and sorry for
intruding. After she was gone, Carlota asked her brother if he too smelled her
husband’s perfume. She told him that when Desiree came down, she’s very sure she
smelled her husband’s perfume. He told her it doesn’t make sense because Desiree
is involved with their father, what interest does she have in Mauricio? He told her
she’s becoming more like their mother who’s suspicious of the women around her.
He also told her about his talent as a photographer when he won a trophy in his university
days. Later, when Mauricio came back, she asked him to rest for a while and they could
have a long talk as they used to do. Humberto asked him if he has a lot of trouble at the
office but he told him not only at the office, his whole life is in a mess. Carlota told
her husband that her brother is a very talented photographer and if she’d known
sooner, he would be working at Positive and there would be no Juana to interfere with her
marriage.
Desiree and Rogelio were sitting in ‘her’ apartment, when he asked her about the
deal with the reps and she told him he’ll have to wait and see. Then she told him to
close his eyes and he looked intrigued and pleased by the request. When he opened his eyes
there were two presents, and he opened it to find robes in it. ( which belongs to Mauricio
and sprayed with Mauricio’s perfumed) Rogelio was touched by her gift. He told her it
was a surprise and he wasn’t expecting it. (Man! I pity you.)
Manuel sneaked into the Positive office when everyone’s gone. He wondered if
Enriqiueta’s still there in the office. He planned something very special for her. He
go into her office and said that ‘this your sanctuary and you feel protected and
invincible and doesn’t need anyone when you are here and I’m going to invade
your secure little world and you are going to share it with me.’
He hold her phone receiver and kissed it with full of feeling as if he was kissing her.
Then he continued his mission by opening his backpack. Operation Code Name: Invasion
commenced.
Next day, Mauricio came into the office, and was greeted by the grateful office boy for
taking him back for work after he had an accident. He also told Mauricio that he did his
job very well yesterday when Inesita told him to buy the vitamins. Mauricio asked the guy
if he bought it and he told him he gave it to Ines yesterday. Enriqueta arrived at her
office followed by Armando. She inserted the key and turned it but couldn’t open the
door. So, the ever macho Armando offered his services. When he found that he door was not
locked, he pushed it really hard. When he entered, the room was filled with lots and lots
balloons in every colour of the rainbow. Enriqueta looked around and couldn’t believe
her eyes. Mauricio went to his office and Ines gave him the vitamins. He told her to
inform Juana that he wanted to see her in his office. Ines told him that Juana has arrived
but she went out. He asked her where? She told him Juana is with David because they have
been assigned together to go out station. He was shocked.
