rogelio was about to pick up the phone when alfredo stormed in n told him that mauricio was on the other side. better think what u want to say to him, alfredo reminded his father. he then told them that his kids are all here in the other room n demanded an explanation from him about his relationship with la madre n the concubine... rogelio said that all of them knew that his marriage can't be helped any longer. he held on to the marriage when the kids were small. now, as they all have grown up, he asked for divorced from amparito many times, but she did not want to.
rogelio then joined carlota n humberto - another round of argument. humberto then said rogelio was actually worried more about what his grandfather (amparito's father) would think if la abuelo knows about their rocky marriage.
desiree was back at 'her' apartment, talking to herself about revenge against amparito, mauricio, rogelio... while looking into a mirror. fortunately there is no mark on my face, she said. 'u'll see! i always get what i want n i will get it this time too...'
david was being ganged up by his office collegues coz he hurt brandy's feeling. they avoided listening or looking at him when he spoke. he told them that he told brandy he has no feeling for her. shiva said david didn't treat brandy fair with the way he behaved the nite before...
ana maria n carlos went siteseeing - ana maria was having a good time as carlos was complementing her endlessly. ana maria said she felt a bit reversed coz of their age difference. she worried what others would say when people see them together. she said she acted the same way when she was younger. but carlos said ana maria is not like other girls that he dated before - they acted older than their age while ana maria is fueled with excitement. carlos said he liked her the way she is (i wonder whether this fella is really telling the truth or just playing with her heart.)... n they kissed.
dona azucena came home after her hoohaa at positivo. n manolito was waiting for her - 'u r gonna tell me what snra de la vega said to u.' la abuela then snared back to mano, 'n u r gonna tell me what snr de la vega said to u last nite.' mano was caught with his pants down. 'no wonder juana was looking out of the window last nite n she said to me that she was looking at the star. she actually wanted to know what mauricio said to u, right!', dona azucena said. mano said mauricio told him that juana is very important to him at this situation. 'si, si... that's what he said to me too.' mano asked abuela where is juana. abuela said she asked juana to leave the place n come home, but she refused. juana said she knew what she is doing n she wants to keep on working there. mano can't stand it any longer n went off to positivo. shortly after that salvador came to pay a visit... (actually to pay ana maria a visit, i think) dona azu said she was not expecting anybody n salvador wanted to leave. she said no need for that... n she started talking about la familia...
when manolito reached positivo, he asked about juana. they told him that juana had left. brandy too, but not together. then enriqueta came out, 'manuel, what r u doing here?' mano asked her whether she can tell him where juana was. in her office, enriqueta told him that juana left early. she said she can't tell him when she went, but she knew with whom she went with - it's mauricio. mano was disbelieved. mano couldn't figure out what mauricio wanted from juana. enriqueta told mano should not worry about mauricio as he is not a womaniser n hardworking. no doubt women like to swarm him, but he was more concerned looking for the right woman to bear his child. enriqueta told mano that mauricio becomes impotent after too much of chemotherapy when he had cancer. enriqueta thought that mauricio's interest in juana maybe b'coz mauricio couldn't experience having a child. but mano told her mauricio started to pay attention to juana before he knew about the pregnancy. enriqueta cood at juana's naivety - she didn't realise the attractiveness she has towards others. in fact, she has broken a heart in the office.... (mano made his move with his words towards enriqueta, but i can't recall!!! lo siento
)mauricio came into the studio to look for juana n saw dona azucena was with her. he wanted to excuse himself but dona azucena said not to worry coz they were leaving. juana refused to go with her i fought back saying she knew what she is doing n to keep on working here. dona azucena was frustrated with her chica behaviour, said if she really wanted to be independent, so be it. before she left, dona azucena said to mauricio that from now on whatever happens to juana is his responsibility. juana cried n found solace in mauricio. she apologised to mauricio that he had to listen to all that. mauricio said maybe she wanted to listen to her abuela. juana said she knew her abuela cared n loved her, n that's why she did that... but she did not want to be treated like a chica any longer. mauricio then asked whether she wanted to go somewhere - he said he can't think right now n he felt that he had to leave the place. juana said she's already done with her work but she'll have to get permission from enriqueta. mauricio said not to worry - he'll talk to enriqueta (enriqueta was with armando when mauricio came in to tell that... both were bewildered). when they both left the office, those girls, david n popeye started a 'hypothesis'... especially david, with his crooked y stupid mind.
juana n mauricio went to mauricio's grandparents' place - mauricio hardly went there, only when he needed to think. when they reached there, juana felt as if she had been there before - the smell, the place, the atmosphere was so familiar. mauricio playfully chased juana around n juana went straight to a pot near the window n retrieved the house key. mauricio was surprised to see that n asked juana how she knew about that... juana was more surprised than him n threw the key to him - felt a bit uncanny.
mauricio showed his padre n his madre photos to juana - told her how
proud he was with his father. his father n mother had passed away n he has
no siblings. the idea of not able to extend his generations is
excruciating. juana was lying on the pillows n mauricio was looking at her
stomach. 'i'm getting fat, right', juana asked. 'no, not that. i was not
thinking about that.' mauricio then moved nearer to juana n trying to put
his hand on her stomach when juana stopped him, 'what r u doing?' mauricio
asked for juana's permission to put his hand on her stomach. juana said
there's nothing going on n he won't feel anything. but mauricio insisted,
'please, i just want to do this...' juana then took his hand n placed it
on her stomach together with hers....
then... 7 dipihak anda!!! finito okay.... time to get lunch!!!!
