| At Mauricio’s office:
Juana thought that she had disturbed his conversation with Desiree. He
told that it wasn’t that important. Juana wanted to talk about their act
that was caught red handed by David & Humberto especially. She was so
concerned & thought that he is hired to spy on her movements but
Mauricio denied it as he was the one who had recommended him in the 1st
place. He also didn’t think that Humberto is up to get her because of
what she had done to his sister & their family. She definitely feels
guilty if she works side by side with Humberto. Apparently, Mauricio
can’t seem to keep his distance away from Juana as he tried to get
closer & closer much to her advice not to do so. She felt awkward
& restless as she’s afraid that they’d get caught again. Outside: Brandy saw David dreaming away, thinking of something. She quickly asked him to follow her to the clinic but he kept on giving excuses that he is alright. With Brandy’s explanation, he thinks that Juana’s situation would be so much complicated than before. He made a brief conclusion that Juana is the one who is carrying Mauricio’s baby. Now he knows why Mauricio is so obsessed with her, the woman Mauricio is searching for all this while. After much persuasion by Brandy, David finally agreed to follow her to go to a clinic for a check up & treat his wound. Humberto met Enriqueta in her office as she warmly welcomed him to their magazine company, called Positivo. He was delighted however; he expressed his opinion of how difficult it would be if he will be working beside Mauricio’s lover. Enriqueta gave him that suspicious look. In Mauricio’s office/room: Mauricio by now was so near to her as they keep chatting away when suddenly Armando knocked on Mauricio’s door. He came barging in & was surprised to see them being so close together. Armando unsatisfied of what he saw while Juana made a quick exit & on her way out, she told Armando that she would get Ines to make coffee for them. Desiree stomped her way into Juana’s photo lab, trying to make a mess of her neat & clean room. She was so furious to see that Juana was given a chance to talk with Mauricio. She is so jealous of her & her rage was not over as she find things such as her film negatives and covers to be thrown on to the floor while talking to please herself. She would not let Juana take her price possession, right after she was able to pushed Carlota aside now that her line is clear to get Mauricio. Armando was seen looking at Mauricio & telling him that he had abandoned his responsibility towards their magazine company. Mauricio denied him but Armando was not pleased with his answer & kept on babbling about their company’s problem of getting the extra capital that they’d need. Mauricio silenced him by saying that he had done everything to his knowledge but he could not help Rogelio’s decision of delaying his proposal & that he had spoken to a company which will process, print & deliver their magazine on time. Armando was relieved to have heard that. Armando had told him the latest news about what had happened to David. He was told that… David’s angry at something/somebody & his hand was bleeding when he broke a glass jug. He wondered what could have caused him to react in that manner. In a clinic: A doctor had administered David’s wound while Brandy looked on. The doctor told him that he was lucky that he had come soon if not, it could’ve gone bad. Armando was still with Mauricio, as he waited for his reply. With a serious look, he told him that he was the reason of inflicting David’s anger. As if to look surprised, Armando asked him why & what had happened? Mauricio explained to him that he had walked out from his house. Juana went back to her photo lab with Shiva. They were so engrossed in their conversation as they had not noticed Juana’s room had been topsy-turvy. Finally, Juana turned her head & had a shocked of her life to see that all her things especially her negatives were strewn on the floor. Somewhere in the office: Desiree managed to catch up with the office boy & told him to listened carefully for she will not repeat it twice… ‘Suppose she had admitted the truth about her past, how much is his worth from disclosing her secret to anybody. At the same time, a man (I think it was Rogelio’s driver) was eavesdropping of Desiree’s conversation behind a door that was kept ajar. Juana could not believed when she saw most of her important things are on the floor. To make matters worst, Humberto came in & was being blamed in taking no time to create havoc & tarnishing her image. Humberto told her that it wasn’t him but Juana didn’t believe it. Armando was confused & didn’t understand why Mauricio left a beautiful woman like Carlota. Armando warned of his action as this will make Rogelio even unhappy & probably will affect any future plans for their company. Rogelio certainly wouldn’t be pleased to see that his only daughter had been dumped by him. Mauricio tried to explain about his action but was interrupted by a telephone call. He answered the call; it was David who wished to see him at a pub downstairs. Mauricio’s face changed drastically. Juana had met with Enriqueta to explain what had happened in her room. She suspects that somebody is against her for the 2nd time. She was unhappy about the film while Enriqueta told her not to worry about the pictures. She helped Juana by finding a solution as to where they can get immediate pictures for their magazine’s publication. Enriqueta told her to stay calm & not think about it too much. Juana was sad; she wiped her tears & left Enriqueta’s office. Enriqueta thought to herself, there must be some truth in it … somebody must have done it in purpose… At a bar: David drank while waiting for Mauricio to come over. Mauricio came & asked him what is so important till he had to come down to see him in a bar. In the office: Brandy was with Juana, walking back to Juana’s photo lab. Juana had told her about her problem that she had just encountered. She’s in a major stress & was feeling down, to make matters worst for her, Enriqueta had just assigned Humberto to go out & get more photos. She told Brandy that, it is the 2nd time she had this kind of incident & if she faces anything similar like this … she would definitely land herself in the intensive care unit. Brandy coaxed her to relax & be calm. Brandy was telling her that earlier, David was so damn angry, smashed the jug & had to have his hand stitched … his hands bleeding profusely as his wound is deep. All this because he saw Juana & Mauricio kissing. Armando went straight into Enriqueta’s office to announce of what he had known about Mauricio’s latest update. Enriqueta was feeling guilty but didn’t tell him anything as she knew the whole reason to it. At a bar: David told Mauricio not to pretend anymore as he had acted without rational but now, David uncovered the real story. ‘I want to see how far is your courage at the moment, if you really loved Juana sincerely, why wasn’t she informed that the baby she’s carrying is his…’ said David to Mauricio. Juana was still arguing with Brandy about her uneasiness, wondering who would do such a thing & cause her so much trouble. Brandy told her that she had informed the whole story of why Juana got pregnant to David. After telling him that, she noticed David was so worried thinking, it’s as if – confirming something of what he had predicted. At a bar: Mauricio asked David of where he got that sort of assumption. ‘Where & how I got it is not important...but the main thing is, you must answer back my question…’ said David. He wanted to hear from Mauricio’s mouth, whether the woman that he was searching for was all awhile… is Juana. Mauricico was not going tell more lies anymore, he finally confirmed that Juana is the one carrying his baby. David was in shocked… He feels like he’d regretted asking him in the 1st place. Somewhere in the office: Desiree was leaning against the wall & thinking to herself, figuring what the office boy would want from her for keeping his mouth shut. At least Desiree was relieved after what she had done to Juana… tormenting her was such joy to her to see her suffer & break down. She laughed out loud, imagining what poor Juana is going through. ‘Just be patient Juana… there will be more coming soon..’ said Desiree. Suddenly, Rogelio surprised her from behind. He had been looking for her & wanted to let her know that his lawyers have finalised the document that is needed for Desiree to be the owner of her husband’s share in the magazine company. She cunningly smiled at Rogelio. Rogelio too wants to make a deal out of her. At the bar: David was still adjusting the shocked from Mauricio’s statement. He asked why hasn’t he approached & confronted Juana about who the father to her unborn child. Mauricio told him that he had tried but Juana has made up her mind, not to have any connection whatsoever. ‘So you kept silence because scared of loosing Juana or scared of loosing the son that you had hoped for?’ … said David. He could not go on manipulating Juana in that kind of situation. David assumed that, if Juana is not the mother to his child… would he still love her just like what he have proclaimed to her. Hearing that, Mauricio mum himself as he’s not able to answer his question. After a while, he remembered a scene where he first met with Juana at his house that night. She crashed her Pitusa right into his door leading to his house, as her brakes don’t seem to work properly. David warned him directly that, if he does not tell her soon, he swears that he will personally tell her the whole truth. Mauricio was showing that worried face to him. In the office: Juana met Ines, asked whether she can see Mauricio & explained what had happened to her negatives & her photo lab. De la Vega’s house: Carlota had a plan in mind, asked Rafael to speak to Mauricio & get him to come back … but Ines told Carlota that he had left without saying where he had gone. Carlota felt helpless but changed her mind & wanted to speak to Juana instead. Ines connects the call to Juana. At the fitness center: A.Maria visited Carlos’s room. Carlos doesn’t seem to care much as he welcomed her to step in. A.Maria was told that she could be forgiven if she followed Carlos & his friend to go out together. Salvador was seen talking to Paco who has a shop quite nearby to Azucena’s house. While chatting with him, he saw Petricia through the window & had cautioned him to see her outside. Salvador excused himself from Paco & went to see Petricia. She informed that yesterday, she had dropped by to Perez house & told them about the break-in & etc. The next step would be announcing to them that they (Salvador & Petricia) are lovers to make A.Maria & Manuel jealous. Salvador looked scared, as he does not know whether it was right do to so. On the phone: Carlota told Juana that she needs to deliver the pictures that were taken during the party held at her house. She lied by saying that Rafael is feeling sad & would want to see it. In the office: Juana told Brandy what Carlota wanted & how miserable she’d be if she were to go to her house… but she had to because of Rafael. At Lili’s house: Lili was seen showing the Perez photo to Ramon while Maria looked at his uncle’s reaction. He was touched to see his children had all grown up. Lili & Micky told Ramon about the entire good thing of what the Perez family had done & had to endure. Ramon could not contain himself any longer; he cried openly but quickly excused himself to go out. Lili & Micky was confused of Ramon’s action & asked Maria why. Maria felt awkward & looked like she was about to tell them something …. De la Vega’s house: Carlota poisoned Rafael’s mind by telling him that Juana is the cause of their problem. Rafael don’t seem to understand & was confused, as Juana was so nice & friendly to him. At Perez house: Manuel was sitting alone in the living room & thinking… A.Maria come barging in & talked non-stop like a parrot. She had ideas of getting an extra income by turning their house into a small class for a fitness session specially catered for the young girls living near their area. Manuel wanted to say something but A.Maria kept on babbling he finally stopped her abruptly to tell that Ramon is in town. A.Maria face turned pale with shock. Somebody who was pressing her doorbell distracted her. Azucena got to the door first… at last, Ramon was there at their doorstep. He entered & said … ‘Ola, Azucena…’ With her eyes wide opened like an owl, she stared at him … while A.Maria held a hand to her chest knowing that the voice was his father. At the same time, Manuel was not looking at the door but already knew that it was his father. Manuel couldn’t help but feel very upset. 'sólo a tu lado quiero vivir ... sin ti mi cielo se vuelve gris ...dime que hacer si no estás aqui...' I Feeeel Gooood ... To Be Continued on Tuesday, 24th June 2003 |
