Abandon house: The unidentified man introduced h/self as the caretaker to that house. Mauricio informed him that during their destination his ‘wife’ was sick & so they had to stop for awhile thinking that it was a place to stay. Mauricio apologized because staying w/out his permission, if the man won’t allow, he can get out at that instance. They adored the place & wish to stay within a few days. Mauricio could afford to pay. The man’s face was sulking.
Perez house: Manuel was in temper tantrum due to the fact that Azucena has annulled his right. Azucena sternly informed that Ramon is his dad & will last till the end of his life. Azucena said she had given him all her heart & soul to Ramon, thus giving birth to Manuel because of that man. Manuel didn’t want 2 hear all that, which was all before he was born. What he remembered Azucena h/self had poisoned his mind on how bad Ramon is. Azucena admitted her fault & apologized but now he has changed. But for Manuel, e/thing’s still the same & it’s getting worse. Later he went out. Azucena was still shocked seeing he had left.
Abandon house: Juana was sick with worries thinking that the man would be mad at them for trespassing. Mauricio informed that the man didn’t treat him unkind; he even accepted the money that he had offered. Juana didn’t like the way the man looked at them, a weird kind of look. She’s scared if that guy reports 2 others on seeing Santo Joseph Mauricio and Juana Maria, the pregnant virgin… for sure the place will be buzzing with people by tomorrow.
Positivo/Ines desk: Brandy with her colleagues read newspaper covering the news of Juana & Mauricio. They were all aghast when Brandy informed that Juana & Mauricio managed to escape. Maria replied ‘we need temper in our lives’ Salvador was surprised because she had answered what’s in his mind. He said A. Maria’s too stern with the people she loved. A. Maria wasn’t listening, she only wanted to find her daughter & wished Salvador didn’t get the wrong impression. Salvador talked nicely to her, said ‘Don’t get mad Anita’, A. Maria didn’t like what he had called her, he can called Petrica with Petra but her name is Ana & not Anita. Salvador prayed in his heart so that God to eliminate Petrica from his life, if not, he’ll miss a chance to get near Anita. ‘Forgive me, my love, Ana’ Salvador said in his heart.
De la Vega’s house: Amparito said & confirmed that Desiree is a cheap woman as her mother in law hated her, she even was forced to get out from the cemetery. Amparito was happy at that scene. Humberto didn’t believe Mauricio was a murderer. Carlota wishes to make a call, she’s still thinking of Mauricio with Juana.
Rogelio’s office: Alfredo voiced his opinion at Rogelio that the police are not stupid, sooner or later e/things will be out in the open. Rogelio warned him not to show how he settled the situation. Rogelio was excited to see the headline on the newspaper with Juana & Mauricio’s picture. He said now e/body knew Mauricio is a fugitive of law & showed the newspaper to Alfredo.
Perez house/Azucena’s room: Ramon didn’t mind where Azucena wanted to keep his cloth, besides, he doesn’t have that much clothes with him. Azucena said she doesn’t mind at all whether it’s little or many, as long as Ramon can take his things easily. Ramon queried on how Manuel’s reaction when was told about him being there. (Azucena busied h/self putting his clothes in the cupboard). Azucena said she didn’t have time to chat with Manuel because he didn’t live there anymore, he’s staying with a lady. Ramon said he needed to Manuel. At that time Azucena had found several old pictures, Azucena glanced a few times at Ramon.
Enriqueta’s apartment: Enriqueta had just got back from Francisco’s burial ceremony. She’s glad Manuel was there. She said a lot of people had put on a faked masked at the ceremony. She didn’t like the way Elvira evicted Desiree from the cemetery as if there’s no respect for the dead. Manuel said it all depends on the guy’s behavior throughout his life. She noticed Manuel was unstable. He apologized if his words are rude & unkind because he wasn’t well. She was talking about s/body he didn’t recognize. Manuel took her hands & pressed it on his cheek, repeated his apology several times. Manuel quenched his thirst before explaining that his father had return to their house. It was good news to her but Manuel didn’t think so. She didn’t let Manuel talked bad things about his own father. Manuel criticized his mother for accepting Ramon back to her life.
Waterfall: Mauricio was fishing, trying his luck again… this time; he scolded the fish for not taking his bait.
Inside the abandon house: Juana sat in front of a mirror reminisced Mauricio’s word during the ritual of confessing their love. In her heart, she praised for Mauricio’s beauty & strength. To her, Mauricio seems like a little child when trying to run away from her. Juana had thought that the ceremony was like their wedding.
Enriqueta’s apartment: Enriqueta scratched her chin that wasn’t itchy & tried to discuss with Manuel. She said, with his hate inside his heart will not benefit him at all. Manuel was hurt because she wasn’t on his side. Manuel said e/time he woke up from sleep he kept remembering that his father had left him. He didn’t think that she would give advice like that to him. He said she’s different, has a father who took care about her.
Outside the abandon house: Salvador’s car stopped in front of the house. A. Maria praised saying the house was lovely, situated on top of the mount Andes. To Salvador the area is so romantic because it was cold, raining & foggy. A. Maria didn’t think so as she prefers the beach. The city wasn’t that far, so Salvador suggested that they head to the town. A. Maria embraced h/self to keep warm. Salvador came close to her sit. A. Maria gave a warning not to do a/thing weird. Salvador said he was trying to get his jacket & help to cover her. She thanked him. In his heart, he said ‘Some people said, people who don’t like cold is not romantic.’ He later drove towards the town.
Enriqueta’s apartment: Enriqueta didn’t like Manuel mentioned about his dad with such insult. Manuel said he also doesn’t like her to meddle with his personal life. Enriqueta raised her voice & said Manuel had started it. She just wanted to give opinion & hoped Manuel forgets the past. Manuel said he wouldn’t want to forget what the guy had done to him, his mother & his sister. Enriqueta said nobody human can run away from making mistakes. Manuel felt stupid because thinking she will be on his side.
Waterfall: Mauricio still didn’t get any fish. At the other side was a boy sitting while holding lots of fish. Mauricio said it’s impossible that he catches it from the same river. The boy said it’s the same & caught it at the upper stream. Mauricio wanted to buy the fishes.
Perez house: Azucena felt like dizzy. Nicolas said he knew when his partner hid s/thing from him. Rosita was ironing clothes. Rosita wouldn’t let Nicolas yapping away easily about Mr. Ramon. Nicolas told Azucena not to worry because he won’t let her be alone. Rosita was touched with Nicolas words & tried to smile. Azucena told Nicolas to go back to do his homework because Rosita will iron all the clothes, should he wants to accompany her, he has to study first.
Inside the abandon house: Mauricio got back bringing along fishes… Juana was lying on her side like ‘sleeping Budha’. She thought Mauricio had been gobbled by the fish. Mauricio said Juana cannot make fun of him because he had succeeded catching fish & now he had won the bet. At first Juana said there’s no bet but later she admitted Mauricio had won & asked him what he wants for his gift. Mauricio got closer to her, sat while raising the fish & said Juana had to clean the fish & later think how to cook it. Juana’s smiled slowly vanished & replaced with an open mouth.
Later Mauricio came out to take firewood behind the dried pilling grass. At that time, a car that was driven by Camacho arrived. He didn’t see Mauricio that was hidden behind that pilling dried grass. Camacho surveyed the house & its area from inside his car.
Night falls…
Enriqueta’s apartment: Manuel sat at one corner on the floor while holding liquor. Enriqueta said it’s not right Manuel let out his frustration on her. Manuel said he thought they were staying together so, he just want to share it. Manuel blamed her for starting it first by telling about Francisco’s funeral that he never knew him. She said she only pitied because the person she knew had died. Manuel tried to calm her. She didn’t think Manuel didn’t care about his father who’s awaiting death just around the corner. Manuel said ‘Thank you, I didn’t realize you’d do s/thing like this’ Manuel left & Enriqueta sat on the sofa while her face pressed with both of her hands.
Perez house: Rosita was holding Azucena’s hand tightly while hearing her whimpering about the pain she had to endure. Rosita said Azucena was sad because of Manolito’s word. Azucena denied it. Rosita thought she can help her. Azucena said s/times it’s not word that made you shed tears. She shed tears because remembering the pictures that she saw in Ramon’s bag. It was their family’s picture when they were content & peaceful back then. She didn’t think Ramon still keeps the pictures.
Outside: Manuel walked alone at the garden while talking 2 h/self. He said giving advice is simple but it’s not easy for s/body who cried every night thinking what he wants to do the next day… how to help to get out… he kicked & punched the tree beside him while saying he wouldn’t want to be the head of the house because wouldn’t want to be responsible as a ‘father’. He said if only Enriqueta really understood him. He thought he’s carrying a heavy burden.
Enriqueta’s apartment: Enriqueta kept on talking to her heart that Manuel was stubborn, no sympathy towards his own father. She’s convinced that the situation will get better if Manuel forgives & give a chance to h/self to bring up his real strength. ‘You will not end up like him, Manuel’.
Eternal Love Inn: The reception guy thought A. Maria & Salvador was a couple. A. Maria was furious & said not all who came there sleeps together. ‘We’re traveling together; it doesn’t mean we’re sleeping together’ Salvador request for 2 rooms & told A. Maria to go get her stuff while he fills the forms first. The worker apologized as he thought they were a couple. Salvador said e/body thinks like that. The worker whispered to him & said he’ll give him an adjoining room, with a door that separates them. Salvador chuckled.
Abandon house: Juana was glad that there’s fish as she was hungry. She assumed Mauricio knows how to catch a fish. Mauricio proudly proclaimed that he’s born with knowledge of e/thing. Juana apologized for criticizing his capabilities. But later Mauricio laughed & admitted that he didn’t catch the fish… he bought it from a body. Juana said she knew it that he had lied to her. Juana thought that this mean she had won the bet… Mauricio said ‘what bet?’ Juana reiterated that she had cleaned the fishes. Mauricio admitted he has lost & asked her what she wants. Juana said she wants Mauricio to fulfill whatever she wants.
At a bar: The man, Pernia, who admitted h/self as a caretaker was celebrating with the money he just received & wanted to treat everybody to drink.
Abandon house: Juana asked Mauricio why he looked nervous. Mauricio responded that he was just protecting her from a/body harming her. Juana got a feeling that Mauricio is trying to protect her from h/self & not from others. Mauricio said he’s deeply in love with Juana & yearns for her but the situation now doesn’t permit. Mauricio avoided from talking, he busied h/self of clearing away the dishes. Juana looked at him while smiling.
Eternal Love Inn: Salvador did consider that it’s a good think he gets to spend several days over there because it’s been quite a while he hasn’t been on a vacation. It’s even nice because Anita is beside him. He said now he’s in the middle of heaven but no happiness… it’s a problem. Later A. Maria came over to show newspaper that captured Mauricio & Juana’s photo. She was worried that people might get the wrong impression about her daughter.
Perez house: Maria Rosa prepared a special tea for Azucena to cool her down. Later Enriqueta came over. Azucena asked her where’s Manolito. She welcomed her to sit & sensed that s/thing important had made her come there. She said she wanted to talk about s/thing important that caused Manuel didn’t follow her there.
Eternal Love Inn: A. Maria was mad because Salvador couldn’t be bothered about the papers. She kept on babbling until Salvador said enough as his patient had limits. A. Maria said her anger doesn’t have any limit especially if it involves her daughter. She asked whether he had read it… Salvador instantly took the paper & read it very fast. A. Maria assumed that he didn’t believe Juana & the paper had made her look like a fugitive. Salvador said she ran away with Mauricio. Both of them were mad at e/other & exchanged accusations. A. Maria blinked seeing Salvador’s anger. He asked her to sit quietly & not to go a/where. She abides him.
Inside the abandon house: Juana finished washing the plates. Mauricio said he won’t run away from Juana. Juana sat on top on Mauricio’s lap, he was sitting on a chair (the chair was squeaky & looked like it’s about to fall down). Juana wouldn’t want to be treated like an antique item that’s easily broken. She wants Mauricio to treat her like a woman (like the time they were together romantically inside his aunt’s cabin). Juana didn’t know how to express her feelings. Juana said she doesn’t want to wait any longer, she so in love with Mauricio (later the scene was cut & went into the closing credits).
