Carlota asks Mauricio to give her one more chance at their marriage because she believes that he still loves her. Mauricio on the other hand, imagined playing in the yard with Juana, their baby and Rafael with him. Carlota planned to tell him about Juana's pregnancy sometime in the future. Desiree searched for the phone number of Dr.Ricardo in Carlota's phonebook and called him to arrange a meeting so that she can get information on the girl who is pregnant with Mauricio's baby. Desiree decided that the pregnant girl is her true enemy / competition for Mauricio's affection because she(pregnant girl) has the one thing only she and no one can give to Mauricio that is a child of his own flesh and blood.
