Perez house: Mauricio said to Juana… ‘Happy Birthday’ by that time her family & all the guests were staring at him. Juana starts to shed her tears openly. They quickly sang the song but it did not prevent her from crying. Mauricio was so surprised to see why Juana was feeling so emotional. She could not stand it any longer, she ran upstairs to her room. David looked sharply at Mauricio. Mauricio was confused over Juana’s reaction. Azucena, Manuel, Brandy, Ramon & Enriqueta as well as the guests were all surprised. At the hospital: Aunt Eva saw Humberto crying at one corner. She approached & told him that she really regret what had happened. She also mentioned that Mauricio is suffering too. Only to Humberto, she can discuss about his family. She needs him to help her control the situation that they are in… all the hatred between them should not prolong & from going any further. Humberto told her that, it’s like a nightmare… Aunt Eva held his face & suggested that he pray. She can help him do that… he agreed, as Aunt Eva told him to follow every word she said. ‘GOD almighty, which gave strength in her heart, I’m begging you to save my daughter Carlota…’. The nurse came in to inform Amparito that she needed a rest. Amparito told her that she’s not tired to take care of her daughter. Perez house: A.Maria knocked Juana’s door several times, hoping that she opened up. Brandy tried calling Juana but there wasn’t any answer… Brandy asked A.Maria what had happened. Nicolas asked Azucena whether they can eat the cake. Azucena got mad as she informed everybody that nobody is in the mood to eat a cake. She took the cake into the kitchen. Enriqueta approached Mauricio. He asked her why Juana ran away while crying. ‘Is it because of me..?’ She asked him… ‘What happened? Aren’t you supposed 2 have a date with her? Why didn’t you fulfill your promise? Mauricio quickly told Enriqueta & Manuel that Carlota had met an accident that morning. She was driving very fast; the car got out of control & fell into the ravine. At the moment, Carlota is at the hospital. Enriqueta & Manuel was shocked to hear the bad news. In the kitchen, Paco told Nicolas not to disturb Azucena. Paco suggests Azucena 2 have a drink as it will help to calm her down. Azucena was seen trying to stop herself from crying openly. In the living room, Enriqueta said… ‘No wonder! I sensed that something was wrong as, it was so unlike you to break promises’. Mauricio asked her… ‘Did she tell you that I broke my promise? David joined in & said no! ‘Juana told me… she told me that you had lied to her… Did you know what she did after that?... She came looking for me…’ Mauricio asked him, not to cause a scene. David said… ‘What if I want to?’… Mauricio said… ‘Can you calm down? What is wrong with you?’ And David said… ‘You think you can just say & order around… I want to tell you s/thing, if I want to cause an unpleasant scene, I can do it, as I want to see that the problem is solved once & for all…’ Upstairs: In Juana’s room – Juana was resting her back at the edge of the bed, sitting on the floor & crying all her heart out. Both of her hands rubbed her stomach. She said to herself… she could not move, this is terrible, this is awful… he doesn’t love me… he only loves you!!! While holding her stomach, she continued… only you; you are his flesh & blood that are now growing inside my womb. Still crying & said to herself that… this is all not necessary. She shifted her angle & laid herself on the rug in a fetus position. Downstairs: David & Mauricio were in a fight mood! Manuel tried to ward off their anger but to no avail. Enriqueta warned David but got teased by him as he said… it’s easy for you to say… because you’re not the one who got the insult & falls in love with this worthless guy (Mauricio). Mauricio got furious & grabbed his jacket. He told him that it’s not true. Manuel quickly pushed them apart & said… ‘Come let us go to my back garden so that you two can settle your problem at ease, ok?’ Everybody got the chance to see what had happened. Lili told Micky that Mauricio is the guy that Juana is in love with. Azucena got out from the kitchen & asked everybody…’why are you all putting on that sour face?’ Ramon volunteered 2 inform her that, 2 guys just now are about to fight over s/thing… ‘Do you know what the cause of it is?’ Azucena bluntly replied… ‘Their problem is quite normal because they are guys. They thought by doing a/thing, it would not give any side effect 2 other people’. Paco came in to the rescue, he told Ramon… ‘Don’t you simply talk w/out even thinking’ as he continued to give him advise… ‘Learn 2 listen!’ He escorted Azucena into the kitchen. At the back garden: Manuel scolded them (David & Mauricio). They still argued, both not satisfied with one another. He made David angry by telling him that he will go upstairs to explain to Juana. He punched him on the face as he would not allow him to do that. They kept on quarrelling like cats & dogs… Mauricio got a chance to punch David back. Things got worse as they are both struggling to defend each other. Upstairs: Brandy tried calling Juana, A.Maria found a spare key to her daughter’s room. She opened it & saw Juana lying on the rug crying. A.Maria quickly held her up & comforted her. Downstairs: By now crowds have gathered at the back garden as a fight was about to erupt. Azucena screamed on top of her lungs to stop them & told them to get out of her house immediately. Mauricio was hurt by Azucena’s word & both got out. Manuel calmed Azucena. Outside: Mauricio & David continued to argue about Juana. Inside the house, Manuel calmed Azucena again. Lili told Micky that she needs to see Juana. Maria told Ramon that it’s about time for them to leave. Ramon felt jealous as Paco was there to be near Azucena. Outside the house: David mentioned Desiree’s named to Mauricio. He was surprised as to how Desiree had known about the secret. He was even more surprised as David said… ‘Don’t worry, I didn’t tell her a/thing, Juana knows the real story. She also knew why you want to be near her.’ Upstairs: A.Maria felt like talking to a wall as Juana kept herself in a silence mode. Lili & Brandy was there sitting & looking at their sad friend. A.Maria said s/thing & made Juana said that she can’t, she can’t do it…. Outside the house: Mauricio was worried sick as Juana had known about his secret. He knew he can’t enter the house; he took a drastic decision – repeatedly shouted & calling Juana as he needs to see & talk to her. Inside the house: Azucena was furious to hear Maruicio’s yelling & calling Juana’s name. She called Salvador to arrest Mauricio. Upstairs: Juana heard Mauricio’s voice & made her start to weep again. Outside the house: Manuel got out & scolded Mauricio for screaming & yelling like a crazy man. Suddenly Salvador came with his police car, siren blaring in the middle of the night. Upstairs: Juana heard the siren, she wanted to see outside from her window but A.Maria could not stop her. Mauricio tried to reason with Salvador. He would not move from Juana’s house until he gets a chance to talk to her. Mauricio noticed that Manuel had looked up. He looked up also & saw Juana starring at him. He instantly yelled to Juana, trying to get her attention but she didn’t move. Mauricio continued to shout for Juana. Salvador asked Juana whether she’d like to talk to him, she nod her head to say no. Mauricio did not give up easily, he saw Juana was crying & shouted at her not to cry. Salvador had to do s/thing, he got out his handcuff & cuffed both of Mauricio’s hands. He managed to scream at Juana telling that he loves her, & to believe what he had said. Juana stared down at him. At the hospital: Humberto listened as Amparito talked about Carlota. Rogelio came in & asked for any updates. Perez house/outside: From the window, A.Maria shouted at Mauricio to stop shouting Juana’s name. Enriqueta told Manuel that, the handcuff was really unnecessary. Salvador puts Mauricio into his car. Mauricio looked up & saw Juana closing the window. Upstairs: Brandy coaxed Juana to tell them what happened. Juana didn’t say a word as she continued to weep on her mother’s shoulder. At the police station: Salvador had opened the handcuff as Mauricio had calmed himself down. Mauricio told him that it’s not that easy, especially when he thinks that the woman he loved is being taken away from him. Perez house: Azucena, A.Maria, Manuel & David were downstairs waiting patiently for Juana to come down. David is seen waiting near the staircase. Enriqueta told Azucena that she regretted the recent incident, chatted awhile with Manuel & excused herself to go back home. Juana came down eventually as David escorted her to the living room to be with her family. He asked her whether she’d like him to relay the news. Juana said that she’ll be doing it herself. With suspense hanging on the air, she told Azucena, A.Maria, Manuel & to David that the baby that she’s carrying is of Mauricio de la Vega. Manuel looked at Azucena with his devastated looked while Azucena’s mouth open in disbelief. A.Maria was astonished to hear it. Salvador offered Mauricio a peach fruit; he rejected it but later took one to eat it. Salvador asked about Carlota’s condition. Enriqueta dropped by to see Mauricio. Perez house: Juana told her family & to David about what she thinks of Mauricio & his lies. David said to Juana that Mauricio was happy to know that somebody was healthy enough to get pregnant with his child. A.Maria said… no wonder… Juana felt stupid as she had led herself to be fooled. She’s jealous with her unborn child. All of them were seen shedding tears. At the police station: Mauricio explained to Enriqueta about his true feelings towards Juana was real. She was glad to know that it was not just the baby. Perez house: Juana told her family that she felt being trapped under Mauricio’s care. Manuel poured ‘more oil’ to ignite their anger towards Mauricio. Her mind was blank & she can’t think a/more. What she can foresee, Mauricio will go all out & go against them should they stopped him from getting what is rightly his – the baby. At the police station: Enriqueta assured Mauricio to go back & will have to wait till tomorrow if he’d like to see Juana again. Salvador comes in & Mauricio told him not to worry as he won’t disturb or harassed Juana. Perez house: Juana & her family kept on discussing. Manuel asked David whether Enriqueta knew a/thing about it. David said he’s sorry as she’d already know for quite some time. Manuel was surprised. At LaBibi’s house: Alfredo came in, drunk & giggling to himself. He looked awful. He got close & kissed her. Perez house: In the living room – Juana made her decision to run away from home, where Mauricio could not find her. Rogelio’s apartment: In the dark & on the sofa… Desiree reminisced about Rogelio’s threatening words. She got scared as Rogelio had sworn to her that he’d make her live like hell if she wouldn’t help him. She told herself that, she’d faced far more difficult than that… she’d be able to solve the problem out with Rogelio as she can’t afford to let Rogelio ruin her chance. Perez house: Juana told her family… I’d run anywhere… she had made the final decision. At the hospital: Mauricio stressed to Enriqueta again about his true feelings towards Juana like a broken record. Their conversation stopped as Humberto, Rogelio & Amparito walked in. Perez house: David informed Juana that he’d be coming over tomorrow to pick Juana up & that she’d have the whole night to think about it…. He will be waiting for her. In front of Juana’s family, David confessed his undying love to Juana. Her family was touched to hear what David had said. They think that David deserved to be loved. Juana hugged & expressed gratitude to him. He kissed Juana on her cheek & bade goodbye to her. At the hospital: Mauricio told Aunt Eva that somebody had cut his line… Juana already knew about the baby & who the father is. Enriqueta was there with him when he explained to her. Perez house: Azucena agreed with David’s decision to let Juana ran away but Manuel didn’t seem to like the idea. Juana told Manuel that she don’t want to see Mauricio in her life again. She will not give Muaricio a chance to steal the baby away once the baby is born. On & on Juana proclaimed… The last sentence that she had said was… ‘He has taught her to love her baby & he would not steal her baby away… the baby is hers!!!’ 'sólo a tu lado quiero vivir ... sin ti mi cielo se vuelve gris ...dime que hacer si no estás aqui...'
