Lawyer’s office/meeting room: Juana expressed her feelings to Mauricio. She said she does not want to insult & hurt him, it was never her intention. Does not want to hurt him the way he did to her. Mauricio wanted to respond but Juana wished him not to say a/thing as she will not believe him. She wiped her tears, continued to inform him that deep down in her heart – his flesh & blood is flowing in her child’s body & the baby has met them together. With tears continuously rolling down her cheek, she accepted & admitted the baby to be his own flesh & blood but what she won’t believe is that fate has caused her to be inseminated with his sperm. ‘This baby is yours but from biological aspect only. Mauricio was seen crying openly & his face changed when Juana said the last phrase. He felt devastated.

@ the prison: They guys behind their cells made a lot of noise as Camacho entered with one of the warden. The warden assured him not to worry as he knew that Rogelio had sent him there.

Positivo/in a room: Desiree asked Rogelio why he had sent s/body to visit her brother at the prison. He understood why she does not feel guilty at all. He said to her, he knows where she came from; she’s still the same girl that got framed. She smacked Rogelio hard enough for him to turn his head aside. He holds his cheek & looked at her sharply.

Lawyer’s office/meeting room: The lawyer, Alfaro told Juana, David & Mauricio about the law & that he has seen the usual situation like them. He can’t deny it as the baby will suffer eventually if they’ve not reached an agreement. Mauricio suggested discontinuing their discussion but David forbids it. He continued to say s/thing to Juana & made David bored of listening. He said he can’t stop the pain that’s happening but he will not make it even worst to hurt her feelings. The lawyer agreed to what Mauricio had said. Juana was taken aback when he promised to try & do a/thing that he can to make her understand… she & the baby will need him but at the same time, will try to distant himself from her, he knows she does not want to see his face. He will do that until she delivers. Juana wanted to say s/thing but could not have the courage as she looked at the lawyer, confused to what Mauricio has said.

Positivo/in a room: Rogelio rubbed his cheek while she told him not to repeat what he had said earlier. She doesn’t care what he wants to do but not talked about her family. Rogelio said to her, e/body knew that Desiree does not care for her family. She got worried & started to ask him who… Rogelio smiled at her.

Lawyer’s office/meeting room: Mauricio thanked the lawyer for his time. Alfaro said, from what he saw earlier on… he knew Mauricio is not only love the baby but Juana as well. He said, nobody believes him a/more. He wiped his tears & bid Alfaro goodbye.

Oustide the lawyers building: David asked Juana whether she’s alright. She said she’s fine. Juana turned her head & saw Mauricio walking towards his car on the other direction. David helped her into his jeep. He went to his side & opened his jacket. Mauricio on the other hand, walked towards his car & opened the door. At the same time, the hitman rolled down his window & took out his gun to aim at Mauricio. In front, David saw the hitman with his gun pointing towards Mauricio… He quickly ran & screamed Mauricio’s name several times. Juana got out & had to looked, shocked to see the hitman. Mauricio was confused, looked at David but things happened so fast as David safe Mauricio & got shot at his side on his behalf.  They both fell on the ground. Juana saw e/thing & puts his hand on her mouth as she was shocked to see David got hit. Mauricio got up & looked at David not moving. Mauricio looked up trying to see who had shot him.

Positivo/in a room: Rogelio asked Desiree why she left his apartment. She told him that she was scared of him. He s/how knew she was staying at Mauricio’s apartment but does not know where he lives. He gave her hints as to what he’ll do if ever he uses drastic measures. Rogelio told Desiree not to count on Mauricio too much.

Outside the hospital: Mauricio was beside David, while Juana called out David’s name several times but his wound is so severe… it had made him unconscious. Mauricio asked one of the bystanders to help him carry David into his car. He got in the car & asked Juana to get in & hold David’s wound tightly.

Police Station/in Salvador ’s room: Petrica was beside Salvador , she wanted to know whether he was mad at her.  She gave him a kiss on the cheek when suddenly Azucena & Rosita/Maria entered his room. Azucena was shocked & suggested that she’ll come back later. Petrica & Salvador was surprised to see her. Salvador got up & accidentally toppled his table when he asked Azucena to wait. Azucena looked at him

Outside/near a convent: Ramon wondered around aimlessly. He was seen unshaven, unclean & dirty. He came across the 2 nuns & told them that he was confused. He informed that he has a family but had loose contact with them. He doesn’t have a family or money with him. He wants to dies s/where safe as he was scared to die on the streets. The nun sympathized with Ramon as he started to cry.

Police Station/in Salvador ’s room: Salvador asked Azucena what he can do to help her while Maria looked at Petrica up & down. Azucena was uneasy with Petrica’s presence. Salvador quickly grabbed Petrica’s bag & pushed her outside, told her he’ll talk to her later. Salvador said Petrica has a problem… Azucena teased him & said was it about her iron. Salvador pushed 2 chairs for Azucena & Maria to seat but Azucena motioned to Maria not to seat. She finally said that she’s there because of Ramon Perez.

Perez house: A.Maria entered the house & saw Manuel with Nicolas at the living room.  She had to ask Manuel again about where Juana is as he was so concentrated on his t-shirt design. He told her that Juana is still with David.

Police Station/in Salvador ’s room: Salvador wrote down Maria & Azucena’s statement on where they had last seen Ramon. He said to Azucena, he can’t classify Ramon a missing person as his missing should be within 24hours. Azucena had a hunch that Ramon is in trouble this time & she was worried about his ailing sickness… his lifespan to live is very limited.

Hospital: David was wheeled into the hospital’s emergency section while Juana told the nurses to be careful of David. Her hands were soaked in David’s blood. Juana called Mauricio’s name & wants his reassurance that David will not die. They quickly went into the hospital.

Positivo: Desiree rushed into Armando’s room & asked whether he’d seen Mauricio. He said, nope… She told him that she really needs to see Mauricio urgently as she’s worried s/thing worst might happened to him. Armando was surprised by her words.

At the emergency ward: Mauricio was leaning against the wall while Juana walked at the other corner; worried about David’s condition. Mauricio approached Juana & asked whether she’s alright. She waved her blood soaked hands & said she does not understand why this has happened. He told her that the shot was meant for him & not David. She looked at him, surprised. She cried when she started thinking if the shot could’ve hit her too. Mauricio hugged & comforted her.

In the operating room: The doctor said that the bullet is tuck in between his spine & they need to operate him fast. Outside… Juana told Maurico to let go, as she’s fine already. He was upset again seeing Juaan still didn’t believe him when he said he was worried to see her in a shock condition.  Her hands touched her stomach 2 indicates to him that he’s only interested for her child. He said... no, Juana… you’ve mistaken. I can’t steal the child away from you. I love you just like I love the child but I’ve destroyed e/thing that I’ve loved so dear to my heart. Juana in tears looked at him & at her soaked hands.

Positivo: Alfredo & Rogelio was being so boastful & arrogance about how they’ve managed to deceived their staff. He mentioned that he needs to find a cheap mortuary for him to deal with Mauricio’s burial. Mauricio does not deserve to have an expansive burial. Afredo made no reaction to what he had just heard.

De la Vega’s house: Carlota & Amparito examined the nurse that will take care of her. She stressed & assured them that they can trust her as e/thing will be in writing. Amparito thought that the nurse looked very experienced. The phone rang… Amparito answered the call, it was Desiree. She wanted to speak to Carlota but Amparito forbids her.  Amparito told Carlota… it’s that snake again. Carlota grabbed the phone from her mother & spoke to Desiree. She was asking about where Mauricio is. She told her he was not in. Desiree explained to her that she fears for Mauricio’s safety. Carlota was stunned.

At the emergency ward: Juana & Mauricio wondered to themselves, how their reaction if Juana or Mauricio would feel if either one of them got shot. Both of them could not handle the situation. Mauricio remembered his battle towards cancer, he wasn’t scared to die at that time but now, he’s scared if he lives without her.

Perez house: A.Maria came down & greeted her mother when she entered their house. At the living room, Manuel was seating & designing s/thing on a piece of paper. Manuel told Azucena that Juana had gone out with David. Manuel wanted to know where his mother had been all day. She told Manuel to sit down first as she needs to speak with him.

At the emergency ward: Mauricio & Juana walked to & fro bumping into e/other’s path. They quarreled for awhile when Juana was not satisfied of him. A nurse got out from the operating room… they asked the nurse for any updates of David. She told them, David had gone into surgery… it’s serious as the bullet is buried deep down in between his spinal cord. She said… David might not be able to move again. The nurse confirmed Mauricio’s guess as paralyzed is possible at the moment. Juana cried instantly. Mauricio shocked to hear the bad news.

Perez house/at the living room: Azucena told Manuel & A.Maria that Ramon Perez is very sick & he’s missing; no news had been heard from him so far. A.Maria & Manuel was too stunned to say a/thing.

At the emergency ward: Juana told Mauricio to pray separately for David. He felt sad & sat on the chair to be by himself. Juana was seen praying very hard.

Perez house: A.Maria quarreled with Manuel about Ramon. Azucena told them to calm down as she had spoken to Salvador & he will get s/body to search for him.

Outside/at the convent: Ramon sat down & contemplates about how & where he should die. All his regrets came pouring in & cursed himself as his family had turned against him. He cried by himself.

Perez house: A.Maria questioned Salvador ’s credibility. Manuel & A.Maria continued to quarrel about Ramon.  She stepped on his foot as he wouldn’t let her go out to find Ramon for herself.  Manuel could not do a/thing to stop his sister. Azucena sat on the sofa & puts her hands on her forehead trying to stay calm.

De la Vega’s house: Carlota tried to get Mauricio’s cell phone but he didn’t answer. She told her mother that she feared her father is behind all this. Amparito asked Carlota to rethink what she had said about her father. In Amparito’s mind, she really hope that Rogelio wouldn’t do it; as she knows that he’s capable of doing a/thing.

Positivo: Enriqueta spoke to Armando about Desiree & Mauricio. They both are worried for Mauricio’s sudden silence.

Perez house/living room: Azucena asked Manuel to calm down as she told him that Ramon is dying & awaits his death a/time. She didn’t want to let A.Maria know about it as it might be hard for her to take it. Manuel looked speechless.

In the operating room: David laid unconscious while the doctor operates on him. O/side at the corridor, Juana saw Mauricio & felt pity to see him looking worried. She approached Mauricio slowly & let out her hand to stroke his hair.  He looked at her & grabbed her hand to his cheek.

Perez house: Manuel was confused about Ramon’s health as he thought it was a hoax. Azucena continued to calm him. He would not accept that Ramon is going to die.

De la Vega’s house: Father Jose & the children came to visit Carlota & Rafael. Rafael was happy that his friend came over. Carlota got upset as she could not handle too many kids at her house. She got up & rudely left them. Amparito had to forgive on her behalf.

 At the emergency ward: Juana asked Mauricio whether she has interrupted him. With his red face & still crying… he said he could not let go of her hands. Her presence gave him a new life. What Alfaro said earlier on had really opened his eyes… he had caused her so much pain & sorrow to her & her family. The only true fact that he has created in life is this child. Mauricio’s face was very near to Juana’s stomach… He spoke to his child through Juana’s stomach. Juana cried with her hands on her face as Mauricio hugged her to listen to the baby’s heart beat.

Rogelio’s office: Camacho told Rogelio not to worry as the job would be done a/time. Rogelio was very nervous. The phone rang, Camacho thought the hitman had called but it was Carlota. She told his father that she wants to speak about Mauricio urgently. He hung up & looked at Camacho.

Aunt Eva’s apartment: Desiree entered & started calling Mauricio’s name. She wondered whether Rogelio has done s/thing to Mauricio.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Amparito & Carlota talked about Father Jose & the kids. She hated the kids especially. She wondered when her father’s coming back.

At the emergency ward: Mauricio & Juana continued to talk… Mauricio was surprised that Juana still didn’t believe him that he love her. All she wants him to do is think who would want to kill him.

'sólo a tu lado quiero vivir ... sin ti mi cielo se vuelve gris ...dime que hacer si no estás aqui...'
