| David was discussing with Mauricio
& asked him whether he has told Carlota about it. Mauricio said that they have
discussed & talked about their relationship that’s grown apart. Their discussion
hasn’t come to that stage yet. Mauricio thinks that Juana should not be involve.
David said that Mauricio is playing with 2 woman’s feeling at the same time & one
of them is a lady who is naďve and could not afford to defend herself. He thinks that
it’s wise for him not to see Juana. He has mentioned to him much earlier that Juana
is not alone anymore in this situation. Juana has him that would protect her. He could not
give a damn with their friendship. He wants to remind Mauricio that if he still pursues in
playing Juana’s feeling, he swears to him that, he will get involve with this matter.
Mauricio looked at David (as if to pick a fight) & left his apartment. Enriqueta was listening to what Manuel is saying to her. She is sick with his sweet words as it’s useless & not touched by it a/more. Manuel swears to her that his feelings towards her come from his heart. Manuel could not say a/thing as Enriqueta had branded him for being a cheater. In the end, Manuel kissed her. A.Maria was chatting with Azucena in the kitchen about Juana. They both have no idea how to help Juana out. Azucena talked about his daughter’s pass relationship. She got pissed of with her mother for bringing up the topic. Azucena told her that she’s hard headed & so is Juana. A.Maria informs her mother that she will go out for a stroll to calm herself. As she was about to go out from the door, Brandy got in & wished them. She asked why Rafael’s party was cut short. A.Maria was not in the mood to talked back. Azucena told her that Juana is the best person right now to be able to tell her, as she’s upstairs with Micky & Lili. She can join them. Juana, Micky & Lili were discussing about her love relationship when Brandy pops in & said hi. She asked Juana why Rafael’s party was cut short. She told her that there was a big havoc in Mauricio’s house. She briefly said that, the children played football, Carlota screamed, the tables turn upside down & Father Jose had to scold the children. She had to leave early as she could not afford to see the man she loves is happy with his wife at the party. She was in full of tears when expressing her thoughts. Brandy was seen in tears as she pity her friend for facing such a difficult time. Carlota was combing her hair & told herself that, there’s so many people are going against her & making her life miserable. Mauricio came into his bedroom & saw Carlota standing looking at him. He told her that he has to leave their house. Carlota was surprised & afraid of what she heard. ‘How can you do this to me…’ said Carlota. He has to as he thinks it’s the best plan of not wanting to hurt her feelings & which he wants to be left alone. Carlota offered their guest room but not outside. Mauricio strictly said that he has to go far away from her without any intention to hurt her. By then, Carlota’s eyes were filled with tears. With tears running down her cheek, Juana told them that she has never imagine that she will fall in love with a guy that is already married & that is, Mauricio. For her, she has dreams, hopes & a life that is so different than Mauricio when all of a sudden, thing changed in a blink of an eye. It used to be bright but it has turn to darkness. Even though she hardly knows him, he has showed a lot of kindness towards her. It’s impossible not to love him. She knows that she is not supposed to love him. She could not keep her feelings a/more from them. Carlota strongly rejects him of leaving her. Mauricio told her that he does not want to lie to her & to their relationship. ‘How could you leave me’… said his wife. There are a lot of guys who would want her but she has chosen him. He told her that, he’s one, one of a guy who was near to death & he could not afford to live his life in pretending, being a hypocrite. He has told her the truth as he does not want to lie with her. ‘Since you are so honest to yourself, please tell me what are your feelings towards Juana?..’ asked Carlota. He admits that he has a special feeling towards Juana. Carlota was so mad & spontaneously throwed her comb at the wall. Carlota looked at Mauricio. Desiree got out from her room & wearing a skimpy lingerie to chat with Armando. Desiree said her thanks to him for giving her a lift home. Armando is pleased to see that she acknowledged him. Desiree further ‘creams’ him up for being there for her. As Armando tries to get intimate with her, Desiree suddenly tells him that they can go out to have dinner together. Armando agreed. Carlota looked at Mauricio putting most of his clothes in his travel bag. Carlota crying pleads him not to leave her. Mauricio told her that, he can’t stay in their house until he thinks what he has to do. Carlota suddenly said, ok, but before he leaves, he has to see Rafael & she will call him instantly. Mauricio stops her as she tried to walk out. A.Maria was walking aimlessly at her housing area. Salvador & Pachecho was in car; saw A.Maria heading towards them. Pachecho told Salvador that he can see A.Maria crying. As A.Maria was about to cross, a car speeds off & Salvador quickly rescues her from getting knocked down. A.Maria hugged Salvador for saving her life. Carlota asked Mauricio why he does not have a heart to hurt Rafael but not to her. She also have a heart, shouldn’t he care about it. Still sobbing, Carlota insisted again that she would call Rafael to come. Mauricio stopped her & said… if you insist in calling him, he will make sure that Carlota will not see him back to the house & will not even meet him a/more. Carlota was shocked as she felt like somebody had stabbed her with his remark. A.Maria was drinking while Salvador looks on. Pacheco was on the other side of the road. A. Maria thanked Salvador for saving her life. If Salvador hasn’t saved her, the car could have knocked her down. This time, A.Maria truly appreciate what he had done to her. Salvador was being humble to her. She told him that, she has a lot of problems thinking about her daughter who is in love with a married man that is far older than her & already had children. She does not know how to give advice to Juana because she doesn’t have a father to cling on. Salvador offered his help to A.Maria & she smiled at him. In Juana’s room, Brandy tells Juana that she can count on her for whatever she needs. Juana is glad with Brandy’s readiness. Lili also expressed her opinion to Juana. She told her that she love her & thinks it’s wise for her to forget about Mauricio because not all story ends well. Juana told her that, she will try her best to follow her advice. Micky had advised Juana the same thing, to forget about Mauricio. Brandy told them that the pub owner has agreed to let Micky sing & would be expecting them anytime. Mauricio was about to finish packing as Carlota tries to persuade Mauricio not to leave her. Mauricio tells her that, relationship without love is of course the saddest thing that he can think of. A.Maria eats while hearing Salvador’s opinion regarding Juana’s case. He told her that, he is ready to help her a/time as he cares so much for A.Maria & Juana. Suddenly Carlos was seen driving towards A.Maria. He called out her name & she was delighted to see him. Carlos asked her whether she wanted to go sightseeing with him, she accepted it & said goodbye to Salvador. Salvador was sad to see A.Maria left with Carlos. Salvador got a call from the radio that there was a robbery in progress in a private residential area. Salvador calls Pachecho, got in the car & drove off. Aunt Eva entered her cabin with warm & happy feeling. It’s been quite some time that she had left the place. Aunt Eva talked to herself about her cabin, which belongs to her ancestors, a lot of memories treasured within its walls. Eva looked at the old pictures that were taken back then, where her ancestors were young. She saw a young woman that looks a bit like Juana (I’m just assuming, as the resemblance is quite similar to Juana). Carlota suggested to Mauricio for them to see the marriage counselor. Mauricio told her that he only want time for him to think. Carlota gave suggestion but Mauricio would not listen. With his bag of clothes, he walked out on her. Carlota cried like a baby instantly while saying his name several times. Juana was developing her pictures taken from the party, in her dark room. Juana talked to herself while looking at Mauricio’s picture. She felt sad as she thinks she’s the cause of his marriage. She looked at Rafael’s picture & said that she cannot take away everything that Rafael had hoped all this while. Carlota sits at the corner of her room looking so glum & looked as she’d given up hope. Her tears were all dried up but her hearts still hurt so much. Her room was in a mess & her bed was untidy, as she had vented out her anger & frustration. Rafael came in Carlota’s bedroom & asked her why was she screaming. She looked & told him that, his new father had walked out & left them. Rafael didn’t believe what she said & told her that it’s not true, as his father loves him, will be coming back & take him. Carlota told him… ‘Don’t be so naďve, your dad does not care for us a/more, he’s a hypocrite & a liar’ Rafael couldn’t take it & he hurriedly left Carlota’s bedroom. Carlota told herself that, if she knew that Juana Perez is the cause of all her pain & misery … she will terminate her for good. Mauricio is hers & hers alone, nobody can take Mauricio away from her. ‘Over my dead body if you want to take away Mauricio’… Carlota said. Desiree was with Armando eating & chatting away at a pub. Brandy, Micky & Lili came in & walked to the other side of the pub. Brandy asked the waiter whether she could see the manager, Louise Eduardo, as she had brought Micky to see him. Brandy had noticed Armando earlier & wondered what he was doing with Desiree on a weekend. Juana was still in her room thinking of taking steps to stay away from Mauricio. She’d want them to be on separate terms. It would be the best way for them. She wiped her tears from her cheek. Azucena knocked on her door, entered & told her that she has a visitor. Juana saw David bringing bouquet of yellow roses for her. Juana was touched to see the flowers & him visiting her. Aunt Eva was siting at the fireplace reminisces about her past. Suddenly Mauricio enters with his bag of clothes. He tells her that he had left the house & Carlota. Aunt Eva knew that it’s going to happen & she has been waiting for him. Juana liked the flowers & thanked David. David was glad to see that he had made Juana smiled & cheery. Mauricio was leaning against Aunt Eva’s chair. He thought that Carlota’s the one for him. Aunt Eva said that she not suitable for him & asked him to be very patient, as he will eventually find the right woman for him. He told her that there’s somebody in his mind at the moment but could not be sure about it. She knew that Mauricio is talking about Juana. He said that, whenever he’s with Juana … his heart felt quite relax & calm like being beside a waterfall. He told her that, Juana is a very nice person just as what Aunt Eva had expected. Aunt Eva was touched hearing his praise towards Juana. She gave Mauricio the keys to her apartment in the city, as it’s unoccupied & that he can stay as long as he needs time to think. She knows that he needs the right place for him to think in order to make the important decision. Juana & David talked in the living room. David had expressed his sincere feelings of love towards her. He wanted to know whether he has a chance to love her. Juana is very reluctant to give him that hope. Mauricio was entering Aunt Eva’s apartment. He started to think about what will happened to him from this night onwards as he looked around. Mauricio made a call to Juana. Juana told David that, decision had to come from 2 parties. The telephone rang & Juana answered the call. It was Mauricio telling her that he has left his house. Juana was speechless … 'sólo a tu lado quiero vivir ... sin ti mi cielo se vuelve gris ...dime que hacer si no estás aqui...' I Feeeel Gooood ... To Be Continued on Monday, 16th June 2003 |
