Perez house: A.Maria was feeling so excited, finally seeing her father is back. She warmly welcomed him in while Azucena & Manuel looked at each other, wearing a grim face w/out saying a/thing. A.Maria gently stroked her hands against his father’s face happy to know that he’s for real. Azucena couldn’t take it; she just walked out from the living room & up the stairs she goes leaving behind Manuel looking like a soldier standing still. A.Maria tried to catch up with her mother but decided not to as she knows that it won’t help. Manuel has had enough too; he lashed out at his sister & asked who had given her the permission in letting Ramon into their house. He stomped his way to the stairs leaving A.Maria behind with Ramon. Such a cold welcome, Ramon thought.
Upstairs: Azucena felt like she could not breath properly & about to faint knowing that Ramon is downstairs in her living room. In the mean time, Manuel was in his room, doing the same thing as his mother had reacted. They both thought that Ramon should not have come as he will give them more misery than before. The pain is always fresh on their mind thinking that he had left them behind.
In the living room: A.Maria hold her father’s hand lovingly & looked at each other while smiling gleefully. She had waited so long for this moment to come. Ramon didn’t say a/thing, he just listened to what A.Maria is saying. Ramon stroked his daughter’s face as he could not believe that A.Maria is now 34years of age. The last time he saw her was during her 15th birthday party held at their house. At that time, Manuel was just 9 years old. Ramon reminded A.Maria of the time they were together.
Upstairs: Azucena & Manuel both in their own room, trying to contain their anger & frustration towards Ramon’s sudden appearance.
At the office: Brandy asked Ines on Mauricio’s whereabouts. Ines told her that she knew nothing. She told Brandy that Carlota had spoken with Juana & insisted Juana to drop by to her house with the photos. Brandy didn’t feel like gossiping with her.
Perez house: Ramon, A.Maria were talking to each other while Azucena & Manuel stands at one corner & not do or say a/thing to acknowledged him. They felt uncomfortable being around Ramon unlike A.Maria, who had shown so much joy for their reunion. Things got out of hand as A.Maria fought bitterly with Manuel about their feelings towards Ramon. A.Maria does not agree with Azucena’s & Manuel’s cold treatment.
In the office at the lounge room: David made himself a drink. Brandy walked in & saw David at one corner making that sullen face while drinking. David wasn’t in the mood to talk with Brandy or to Shiva & LaBibi about his day. Shiva, being so inquisitive asked David what had happened to his hand. Feeling so mad, David shouted back at her & head towards the door.
Perez house: In front of Ramon, A.Maria told her mother & Manuel that she was confused as why they had not felt a bit of compassion to Ramon. She teased Azucena about her way in handling the situation. She knows that her mother preferred to ‘bottle up’ her feelings instead of expressing them. A.Maria doesn’t want to end up like her mother feeling miserable & not leave the past behind her. A.Maria, Azucena & Manuel shed tears as the situation turns very emotional.
At the cabin: Aunt Eva was trimming her flowers at her garden, a while later, Mauricio drove by & parked his car nearby. They both greeted each other. She was glad to see her nephew. Aunt Eva requested him to join her do the gardening.
Perez house: A.Maria was still trying to defend her father against Manuel’s accusation. Ramon finally talked about his past… how & why he left Azucena at that time. His life was full of excitement & he craved the passion for traveling. Now he admitted that he is being selfish towards Azucena & towards his family. He knows that he’s not welcome & wasted no time to exit out of the house. A.Maria felt so ashamed of her mother & her brother for not wanting to forgive Ramon. She went out chasing her father.
De la Vega’s house: Tania opened the door to let Juana in. At the same time, in the bedroom - Carlota was behaving pretty weird as she purposely scattered Mauricio’s cloth & his boxer shorts on the floor. To make things look nicer, she displayed a photo on her dressing table. To add the final touch, she wiped out her lipstick & messed her hair up … trying to pretend that her life is miserable without Mauricio. She quickly hurried herself on to the bed. Tania informed that Carlota is upstairs in her room, waiting for her to come up & handed the photos to her personally. Juana sensed that s/thing was not quite right. Rafael was peeping from the stairs to see Juana from far.
Outside: A.Maria & Ramon walked on the streets together hand in hand… they both looked happy. Ramon advised her not to say harsh words to her mother as he felt that it was unfair to do. She accepted his advised w/out questioned.
Perez house: In the living room - Manuel was still unsatisfied with A.Maria’s attitude. He continued to discuss it with Azucena, as she was not in her talkative mood. He told his mother that, the only thing that A.Maria didn’t do was throwing a red carpet & sings the national anthem to her dad for his arrival. Manuel was pacing back & forth trying to think what he should do. Azucena finally opened her mouth & said that she noticed Ramon has suffered just like she did.
Juana was upstairs, outside Carlota’s bedroom. She tried to calm herself down & went in. She saw Carlota pretending to look like her world was about to end. After a while, Carlota reviewed the photos and praised her for doing a good job. She took the chance to ask her how far her relationship with Mauricio.
At the cabin: Mauricio finally tells Aunt Eva about Juana’s pregnancy & that he is the father to her child. Aunt Eva was so surprised … he had to explained her from A-Z of what had happened.
De la Vega’s house: Carlota pretended to be sad & weeping openly in front of Juana. She was telling her of how her life was so perfect, had a loving husband and so on and so on … She continued to make Juana sympathized with her. Carlota’s plan had worked as Juana believed her all the way. Juana had expressed her feelings to Carlota about her love for Mauricio & that nothing had happened between them. Carlota was relieved to know that she had opened up her feelings. Juana left Carlota’s room. Carlota was seen laughing & bouncing up & down like a healthy bunny as she had succesfully tricked Juana.
Juana came down from the stairs & bumped into Rafael. He was crying to himself & told her that she was the main problem of why Mauricio is not staying in his house a/more. Juana tried to tell him the truth but he would not listen.
Mauricio was chatting with Aunt Eva when her phone suddenly rings. She answered the call & she informed Mauricio that Rafael is not feeling well. Mauricio got worried.
De la Vega’s house: Carlota had put on her lipstick back & was feeling in a good mood as she had finally won the battle … she would get back what is rightly hers – Mauricio…
At Lili’s house: A.Maria was seen explaining to Micky & Lili about the good news while Ramon sits next to her. Maria introduced herself to A.Maria & they both hugged each other.
Perez house: Azucena & Manuel was in an emotional state. Azucena told her son that, A.Maria had some truth to what she had said to her. She realized that her life is catching up with her & along the way; she had endured a lot of pain. It is time for her to let go of the past & start living for the future. She does not want Manuel to suffer like her, she wants him to lead a happy life & not be clouded with what had happened as he had done nothing wrong. Azucena is so glad to know that Manuel is a great son who would defend to protect her & her family. Manuel cried in his mother’s arm.
De la Vega’s house: At a corner, Juana was crying her heart out… thinking of what Rafael had accused her. She felt sad & devastated as Rafael had told her to get out of the house. Suddenly, Mauricio came into the house & saw Juana crying at one corner. He approached Juana & asked what she was doing in his house & why she was crying. She was surprised to see him, quickly tried to wipe her tears away….
