Perez house: A.Maria was laying out the plates at the table for their dinner. She told Azucena about the good news that Juana is off to school tomorrow onwards. Juana noticed that Azucena had put on a sour face, she asked why. Azucena changed the topic & asked her whether she had seen Mauricio the other day. She said, what the heck, since she had brought up the subject… she said… ‘Mauricio will do a/thing to be near & close to her baby.’ Azucena & A.Maria looked at each other. Aunt Eva’s apartment: After regaining her composure, Mauricio asked Desiree what actually happened between her & Rogelio. Desiree remembered Rogelio’s threat to her. She kept herself silence. She lied to him by saying; she wasn’t listening to him as she was so scared & nervous at that time. He told her that he had known Rogelio’s evil character. Perez house/in the kitchen: A.Maria said… she knew that Mauricio would never give up his hope to get what he wants. They continued talking about it. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio refilled Desiree’s glass to make her feel more relax. Desiree continued to talk about her reaction, her feelings & Rogelio. Mauricio told her that she’s not alone in this problem & she should not worry. He will not allow Rogelio vent his anger towards her especially if it’s concerning about business. It’s not fair. Desiree smiled & held his hands. Mauricio felt awkward. Desiree thought that s/body is following her & that’s why she’s at his place. She said… ‘You wouldn’t mind if I were to stay for a night here…would you?’ Desiree made that pity look. Mauricio felt guilty. Amparito’s house/living room: Rogelio approached Alfredo. He quickly got up & asked his father what had happened. Rogelio wondered why he needs to report to him about what he does. Alfredo expressed his concern on his responsibility to the company instead of chasing Desiree. He got upset over his remarks & thought he was being rude to him. He said he’s sorry, but he’ll only respect a/body who deserved it. Not wanting to waste his time, he suggested his son to continue with their discussion the next day. He reminds Rogelio to be careful of his grandfather as he’d already know most of the things. After his son left him, Rogelio was in deep thought trying to absorb his remarks. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio comforted Desiree & tells her that she shouldn’t worry as nothing will happen. She hoped he would not force her to leave the house. Mauricio finally gave his permission to let her stay for the night. She smiled sheepishly. He said, Desiree can sleep on his bed & he will sleep on the couch. Enriqueta’s apartment: Manuel was surprised to see Enriqueta’s door left open. He went in to see rose petal were scattered nicely to form a path for him to follow. He bent down to smell one of the pieces. He told himself, that the situation looks pretty interesting. He got up & to follow where the petals lead. He got into the bathroom & saw her luxurious bathtub being lit up with candles around it. More rose petals were seen scattered in the tub filled with water. He smiled & was amazed by her efforts. He saw an envelope, picked it up & read the note. The note said… ‘Welcome to my dream, which she had for the past 1 week. You’re my guest of honor. He called out Enriqueta’s name while continued to read another note that says he need to cover his eyes with a cloth & allow her to escort him. He found a red cloth & tied it. Suddenly, Enriqueta helped him … (after that, scene got cut off by our NTV7). Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio was at the kitchen, he remembered what Desiree had said. Perez house: David got in & brought along with him, a big box for Juana. Juana was overjoyed when he told her it is a belated present for her. He gave it to Juana for her to open it. She felt nervous as sounds were heard coming form inside the box. She opened it & out came a cute basset female dog, complete with a red bow on the neck & a leash to go. She screamed in delight. David smiled as he knew Juana would like it. He said the dog is not only for her baby but also meant for her. She gave a peck on David’s cheek. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Desiree took a shower & after which Mauricio knocked on the door to give her a towel... she strike a pose hoping for Mauricio to come in instead, stretched out his hands to hand it over to her. Perez house: A.Maria was seated at the living room, she saw the dog. She was not that happy. She told David what Mauricio had said to Juana. From now on, Mauricio had become their greatest enemy. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Desiree asked to borrow a shirt for her to wear for the night. Mauricio said that his shirts are in one of the drawers near to her. She felt disappointed & told herself that she’ll try to seduce him slowly. Perez house: Juana relayed what she had told her family to David about Mauricio. Juana agreed that they should seek a lawyer’s advice. Aunt Eva’s house: Desiree talked about Carlota but Mauricio didn’t want to talk about it. Hospital: Carlota was feeling restless, lying on the bed. She told Amparito that he was bored to death. She seeks her help to locate Desiree as she needs to talk to her. Perez house: David managed to make Juana smiled. He said he will talk to a lawyer if given a chance. Hospital: Amparito was furious as she disagreed with her daughter request. She dislike the idea of seeing that ‘bitch’. Perez house: Acuena was wiping the plates. A.Maria noticed that Azucena looks peculiar. She stoped what she was doing, sat at his table & starts asking her what’s wrong. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio pushed Desiree away. She kept on saying that they should take the opportunity to be together. Mauricio gave several excuses to run away from encountering the embarrassing situation. Morning comes… A.Maria & Juana had arrived in front of the school yard. Juana was still on her bike, scared to go inside. A.Maria assured her that it will pass. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio made some drinks & was surprised to see Desiree was not up yet. He saw her yawning & asked her to get ready; he’ll be downstairs waiting for her. At the school: Juana bravely walked along the corridor. Enriqueta’s apartment: Enriqueta was late as Manuel helped her to eat breakfast. Manuel suggested to her to call the office & take leave. She gave her opinion about them staying at staying together. He seems not to like the idea. Amparito’s house: Alfredo looked around to see if any of his family was there. He got near to the TV & used a key to open one of the drawer… he took out a gun, wrapped the gun using a cloth as he wouldn’t want his fingerprints to be on that gun. He told himself, we’ll see whether his father had used this gun to kill Francisco Rojas. Outside: A guy was seen looking at Positivo’s building. He took out an envelope & inside was a picture of Mauricio. He puts it back in his jack & wondered off to s/where. Positivo/Desiree’s room: Desiree had an argument with Dora. She had asked her to make a drink & Dora thinks that it's not her job. After she left, she started talking to herself about how happy she was at Mauricio’s place. Suddenly, Amparito got in & they both look into each other. Mauricio waited for Rogelio at his office & started to remember what Desiree had told him. He got up after Rogelio entered the room. David got in & saw Brandy. She greeted him warmly. A guy entered the room, Ines welcomed him & asked him to be seated. Hospital: Desiree got into Carlota’s room. She pretended to show her concern. Rogelio’s office: Mauricio told him that he wouldn't want to waste his time as they have to discuss a few matters. He thinks they should find ways to solve their problem. Mauricio was taken aback to see Rogelio treating him so nice. He said he’ll try to make peace with him for Carlota’s sake. 'sólo a tu lado quiero vivir ... sin ti mi cielo se vuelve gris ...dime que hacer si no estás aqui...' I Feeeel Gooood ... To Be Continued on Thursday, 17th July 2003 |
