| At a bar – Desiree is trying to get Armando to ‘spill the bean out’ on Mauricio’s relationship with Juana & why he’s treating her like a princess. Amparito was not really into that matter as he’s more concerned; put a lot of effort & energy towards the company. Desiree informs that she’s sure by now; everybody can see how Mauricio treats her. She pointed out that Carlotta knows better. She wanted their conversation to be kept a secret & hoped Amparito won’t betray her. Amparito told Desiree about the latest news that Juana were told to quit her job as a photographer by Mauricio due to the fact that it could endanger Juana & her baby’s safety. They both agreed on one thing … that Mauricio is not being & thinking rational as it could jeopardize their company. His behavior seems to amuse a lot of people. Woman can easily take advantages of his weaknesses & will always end up in their hands. She knows this as a fact because she is a woman. Juana seems to be using her pregnancy & knows that Mauricio longs to have a baby of his own thus becoming a father is his goal. To Desiree, Juana seems to exploits her pregnancy towards Mauricio. Amparito did not agree with her on that as he does not think she is capable of doing it (she’s just a teenager). Desiree could not be bothered to what he said as she knows well & what her species are capable of doing. Desiree warns Amparito to act fast to know what Juana is aiming at in him. Amparito does not like Desiree’s cunning idea. She told him that … what is important right now is that Juana had set a trap for poor Mauricio & he has fallen into it. Amparito paid for their food/drinks while Desiree sips her coffee & eyeing on him with great pleasure. Amparito admits that he’s having so much fun even though they were talking about somebody else. Desiree holds his hands & told him that, she thinks Amparito will help her split Mauricio & Juana out. He agreed as he thinks there’s no better way than that. At Perez house – Salvador was waiting at the living room for A.Maria to finish what she was doing in the kitchen. She warns him to think carefully of what he’s going to say to her. He holds firm to his feelings toward A.Maria as he loves her dearly. He do not wish to repeat whatever that was said at the police station as the reason why he’s there … is because he is still waiting for her answer whether she accepts him or not?, whether she has the same feeling towards him? Salvador deserves every right to know her answer but this complicates A.Maria more. She does not know how & what to answer him so she ran around him like a small child worried …She definetly can’t think of anything at the moment. Salvador advised her to stay calm & take a deep breath … he was nervous too when he confesses his love & feelings to her so she needn’t worry. She admits to him that she has never encounter such a person like Salvador as his good characters really can make everybody like him (including A.Maria’s family). She considered him as a special friend, a kindred spirit. She dropped the ‘Hiroshima bomb’ on him as she told him that there’s nothing going on between them & hoped Salvador understands her predicament. Salvador was devastated on hearing this … She just wants him to know that she finds him special/important to her & that is as far as she can go. Salvador continues with the same topic but went & talked about her past relationship… that really made A.Maria snapped. He has no right to judge her. All of a sudden, Azucena & Manolito came out from the kitchen. Azucena brought a drink for Salvador. Looks like they have been eavesdropping… Azucena sensed that they are disturbing A.Maria’s private conversation with Salvador. A.Maria assures them that they were not talking anything important at all. A.Maria gave several hints to them that everybody should all leave including Salvador. In comes Juana & seeing that everybody’s in the midst of a serious conversation. Seeing them, Juana was puzzled over the atmosphere in the house … & noticed that they looked gloomy. Salvador thinks if this is a death ceremony, the person that died would be him. A.Maria with that looked on her face …(that oh my god! look) & Azucena with that ay ay ayyyy ayy look … Everybody seems to be so tensed about something. Juana was seated next to Salvador & had put her back hand to feel his temperature … noticed that he was abit warm & might be down with flu or fever. Azucena also thinks the same but A.Maria could not stand it anymore with them playing ‘bid around the bush’ … All of a sudden, the topic was changed drastically by A.Maria. She mentioned Juana’s birthday. She would turn 18 years old. She was thinking throwing her a great party & that is why she & Salvador was having a private conversation. A.Maria asked how was Juana’s trip to the outskirt of the city, she mentioned that it was beautiful – she just loved the river, the villages & their kind generosity. Suddenly Salvador’s hp rang & got to know that he’s needed as they was a robbery case. He excuses himself & bid farewell. Azucena query with A.Maria & wants to know what there talking about & why Salvador behaving so seriously. After Azucena & A.Maria left, Manolito asked Juana on how was Lili’s & her mother’s condition. She told him that Lili is a tough person & will not give up hope easily for her mother’s recovery. The only thing that is on her mind is how to come with something to get enough money for Lili’s mother major operation. She realized that it’s not going to be easy. She might talk to Enriqueta & hopefully can help her get a loan. Manolito is sure that Enriqueta can help as she is a good & nice person. Juana can’t help but asked him … “since when he knows that her boss is a nice person?” Manolito was grinning, didn’t say a word & he went into the kitchen followed by Juana. Juana was chasing after Manolito as he was being silence about Enriqueta. Juana noticed that Manolito is hiding something from her & she needs to find out why. They must be something going on between him & her boss so she tickles her uncle to find out the reason. Manolito finally explains to her that they met & fell in love when they were both trapped in the lift. He liked her, liked her a lot & could not forget about her. He’s starting to fall in love. Juana was shocked but at the same time laughed & could not believed what has happened to her uncle. She was caught well unaware. Later that night, Juana ate pineapples at the dinner table. She assumes that she’s craving to a food that she previously doesn’t like … maybe it’s because of her pregnancy. Juana touched & rubbed her stomach slowly. Knowing that she sometimes forgets that she’s pregnant & might neglected her responsible. She remembers the nearly kissing scene at the park & she assumes that Mauricio might really want to kiss her. At de la Vega’s house – Mauricio was quarrelling with Carlotta as she has confused him on her behavior. Even though she tells him that she has good intention of getting Juana to come over & be a photographer for Rafael’s party. Her ulterior motive is being questioned as he can’t help wondering what she’s up to. She uses Rafael’s affection towards Juana & since Juana is a professional, a dedicated person … why can’t she invite her as Juana could earn some extra cash. She really needs it soon. She made him understand that the cost of living is high in the city & Juana will have some difficulties once the baby is born. Expenses like babycot, playpen, milk bottle & diapers will be costly to her. She might not be able to afford, especially the cost of giving birth at the hospital. She baits all these to Mauricio on why she would like to help Juana. After all it’s for the good of her. Carlotta called Rafael for the good news that she will invite Juana to his party. Rafael was so excited about the idea & thought Mauricio had helped him out. Later, Mauricio told him that he wasn’t a part of it as Carlotta was the one who was really up to it. Rafael told him that he wants to invite the whole Juana’s family which includes her mother, her grandmother & her uncle. Mauricio looked at him without a word. Mauricio later pours himself a drink & thought to himself of what Rafael had told him. He questioned himself on why he is helping Juana out … was it because she’s carrying his baby or was it … Juana’s appearance that has made his heart uneasy towards her. Mauricio retired himself on a sofa, drank his wine. He thought to himself about why lately he can’t sleep peacefully & that he drinks quite heavily. It looks like it’s a new habit that he shouldn’t be practicing. Talking to himself, he presume that it has got to do with Juana & suddenly remembered the time when he was at the park with Juana discussing about going to his ancestor’s cabin on Juana’s birthday. Mauricio also remembers the incident where they nearly kissed each other & instead settled a kiss on their cheeks. Mauricio thought of what is to become of him, he is getting crazy all because of Juana. The next morning, Carlotta was combing her hair in front of a mirror & talked to her maid about running errands. After the maid left, she smiled & said to herself … get ready Juana, … I’m going to see you today. At Rogelio’s apartment – Rogelio & his driver entered the apartment. Rogelio went searching for Desiree but could not find her at all. He was worried & all he thinks is where could she be at this time… Desiree got back late, entered & switched on the lights. She was shocked to see Rogelio seating near a table giving an angry face while holding a white rose (looks like he wants to squash it). All she could do was look at him. Desiree changed into a revealing black nightgown. She came out to let him see her as he queried her on her whereabouts & why she came back late. Hearing that, she purposely distract him from questioning her more by untangling the upper string of her nightgown revealing yet again an inner outfit that shows her beautiful cleavage. She replied that she had some work to be done but Rogelio didn’t believe her at all. She went closer to him & surprised him with a gift (a navy blue robe that has the same perfume sprayed on it). He didn’t know that the perfume was Mauricio’s perfume all along. But above all, he liked it. In the next morning, Desiree got out from her room with a stylish outfit (red & white) to go to work. She tried to calm herself & plans to be very patient to kick both Rogelio & especially Juana Perez from her life. She has faith in herself. Outside … Enriqueta was walking at night, taking a breeze among the crowds somewhere in the city. She starts to imagine herself falling in love with Manolito. She saw a couple sitting, holding hands, about to kiss one another. She smiled seeing them happy. She then sits herself & remembered what Brandy has said to her in her office the other day regarding the man of his dream & all his family’s history, problems & happiness. She knows that Manolito is a nice & sensitive guy after all. At the same time, Micky & his friend walked past Enriqueta with their guitar strapped onto their back. They both seated not far from her. They started to play a tune.. Later, Enriqueta listened to Micky & his friend, singing to an upbeat tune … ‘Que Importa’. Enriqueta leaves them behind still singing the remaining tune. At the police station – Salvador’s boss paid a visit to his room & congratulated him for his bravery & capturing the robbery on time. There will be a gift for him to collect at his boss’s place. Pachecho later comes in to know what was the latest news between him & A.Maria. At the office – Mauricio was talking to his secretary about his appointments & in comes – Armando without even knocking first. Before he starts to talk to Mauricio, he remembered what Desiree had requested him to do. Armando was expressing his personal opinion to Mauricio regarding about his commitment towards work & their company. He thinks the reason as to why Rogelio rejects Mauricio’s offer was because his father in law has found out his relationship with Juana. Armando himself do not want to let Mauricio destroys his marriage by having another relationship. In the photography room – Brandy approached Juana & asked her well being. Juana slowly blurts out on what had happened to her when she got back from the office yesterday. She also mentioned that she & Mauricio met at the park. Desiree came in into the office & was greeted by the receptionist. She could not care less as she collects her mail & magazine from her. Desiree was talking when all of a sudden, in comes Carlotta with a face of disgust upon seeing her ex-closed friend. Without taking much time & in front of the receptionist, Carlotta told Desiree that when she came into her house to take her remaining belongings – she couldn’t help but noticed that she smelled Mauricio’s perfume on Desiree while walking down the stairs. Desiree was shocked to know that Carlotta noticed & quickly denied it by saying … she doesn’t like the smell of a pine & husky wood. Carlotta further told her that Amparito is right to warn her to be careful of Desiree as she’s the type of person that would put bait & would do anything on any man that she desires. Carlotta went into the photography room to see Brandy & Juana busily talking to one another. She puts on a fake smile & approached them. She told Brandy that she seems to loose weight & she must keep it up. Carlotta requested Brandy to leave her alone as she needs to talk to Juana. Brandy left & Carlotta played along her strategy by telling Juana about Rafael’s good news & that she ‘s happy to invite Juana for the party. She needed a professional photographer & she thinks of her highly. Juana was in a big surprised seeing Carlotta being so sweet to her & wants to know whether she accepts it or not.
