| In the photography room Juana was shocked to hear what Carlotta had said to her. Carlotta looked like she’s sincere in inviting her to come & take photos for Rafael’s party. She really hoped that Juana will not reject her offer. Carlotta had to admit that Rafael is fond of her & wants her to take good pictures during his party. Carlotta told her not to worry, as she doesn’t have an evil plan set for her but merely doing a favor for Rafael. She wants her relationship with Juana to be of good terms. Carlotta also hoped that Juana can forgive if any mistakes that she has caused in the past. She admitted to her that, she now knows why Mauricio is so keen to help her as she has that gullible & pity look. She commented on her big stomach … that is growing. She told her it must have made her look fat. Juana felt embarrassed. Juana finally made her decision to accept Carlotta’s offer without any terms. With that, Carlotta thanked her profusely as she leaves the place. Mauricio came in suddenly & was surprised to see Carlotta in the photography room. Her wife explained to him that she had to come & invite Juana personally. Mauricio suspected her ulterior motive. Mauricio told Juana … not to forced herself if she don’t want to do it but Juana has made up her mind by accepting his wife offer. Before Mauricio & Carlotta leaves, Juana gave an envelope that has pictures that was taken during her assignment. She asked Mauricio to give it to Enriqueta after reviewing it. After they left, Juana could not help herself but cried openly. She just could not help it, as her life is so much challenging & complicated. She’s feeling helpless. She thought of what Carlotta has said to her regarding her bulging stomach & that she looks fat. Juana sensed that Carlotta must have not like being pregnant. She might be thinking that getting pregnant might make her look like a mental disability. She envied Carlotta for having a great & slim body. She always clings on to her husband as if to remind everybody that Mauricio is hers. Brandy came in & noticed that her friend, Juana, was crying. She looked sad. Brandy wanted to know what did Carlotta talked about when they were alone together. She told her everything. Brandy warns her not to believe what she said. She must have something in her sleeve & Brandy is afraid that Carlotta has created an evil plan just for her. She said … so, when you go there, do not eat or drink as it might be poisoned. She told Brandy that Rafael is so grateful to have Mauricio as his new dad but might face great difficulties with Carlotta. Juana mentioned to her that, there was one incident she remembered back then … Carlotta treated a kid so badly just because he spilled his drink on one of her showroom’s top counter. David comes in invading their private conversation. David shows the picture & commented good remarks for her ability to take great pictures. Brandy was not comfortable, so she excused herself out. David sensed that Juana was not interested in his conversation. She showed a gloomy face & hardly say a word or two. While talking David saw Juana was unstable & about to collapse. David quickly saved her from falling & pushed her to a chair for to sit. David was worried & asked her what is wrong. Juana could not tell but might think that she had enough of worries to think about. Still in her room, Juana relaxes herself on a sofa. She starts thinking that her pregnancy must have caused her to feel dizzy & feel uncomfortable. Suddenly, Desiree enters & starts asking her question regarding who’s the father of the child that she’s carrying. She does not want her to play the silence mode anymore as she is planning to do something evil. In Mauricio’s office room Mauricio was at his throat arguing with Armando regarding about his insanity towards his work & his relationship with Juana. Armando is worried about the company’s future. His marriage will break if Armando does not help him but Mauricio assures him that his personal thing will not affect his judgement towards the company. Mauricio is sad to know that his best friend has doubt in his credibility as a manager. He finally told him that there was an incident that happened in his office recently & that it involves with Amparito & Desiree. Amparito was fighting with Desiree about Rogelio. It seems that Rogelio had a secret relationship with Desiree & Amparito has found out about it. With nothing else to say, Mauricio leaves his office & left Armando standing & looking like an idiot. After seeing David, Mauricio brought Carlotta into his room to be seated. Carlotta could not help it but to be happy with what David had said to her. Carlotta told Mauricio that this is good news as David can now guide Juana’s pregnancy & maybe help raise her baby later on. From what she knows, David is a nice guy & thinks that Juana deserves him. Mauricio was against Carlotta’s idea because he didn’t like the idea of David taking over his role as a father. This will shake his faith as he has high hopes on Juana & his baby. Carlotta sensed something from Mauricio but could not confirmed it. Later, Enriqueta with Desiree comes in to talk with Mauricio. Carlotta greets & hugs Enriqueta & tells her that she is invited to come over to Rafael’s party. Enriqueta accepted it. She didn’t invite Desiree & this hurts her. Desiree feels dejected. Sensing that, Mauricio invited Desiree on Carlotta’s behalf. Carlotta just kept herself quite. After Desiree & Carlotta left, Mauricio talks to Enriqueta about him taking & recruiting Humberto as a 2nd photographer. Upon hearing it, Enriqueta queried Mauricio regarding Juana’s ability working as a photographer. She also asked him again about what is going on with his relationship with Juana. Everybody by now suspects something & this is bad for him. Mauricio assures her that he has no feelings towards Juana & he is just concerned about her well being. Mauricio don’t know what to say to her as his mind is already messed up. Mauricio could not continue being silence anymore … so, he tells her the truth … the whole truth … & nothing but the truth … He starts telling her that the clinic that he went to keep his sperm – made a mistake. The hospital made an artificial insemination (that was not supposed to happen) had been done to the wrong person & that person is Juana – the sun. Enriqueta got a shock of her life when hearing these. She’s speechless & said that this is a bad omen. Mauricio didn’t think so from his point of view as this brought him much closer of being a father since Carlota could not get pregnant due to her ailment. He would never have thought that he could be a father again, since he had chemotherapy for his treatment for cancer. Mauricio really hoped that Enriqueta would keep this conversation as a secret & not reveal to anyone even though to Juana’s uncle. He told her that Juana does not know who’s the father to her child. He had tried to tell her but could not do it as Juana had told him many times … that she will not find who the father of the child & if that person comes to claim the baby, she will run away. Mauricio could not bear to loose her. Enriqueta finally understands his predicament that he’s in. She felt sorry for him. She’ll try to be more careful next time. In Armando’s office room Armando was quite surprised to see Desiree waiting for him. She can’t wait what Armando has to say to her as she heard that he was inside Mauricio’s room. Armando sensed that Desiree is fishing out some information from him. He confirmed to her that he did talked to him regarding about his relationship with Juana. He told her that he uses his father in law to try & convinced Mauricio to not jeopardize his marriage & not get involved with Juana. Armando suddenly changed the topic & questioned Desiree about her relationship with Rogelio. Sensing that she could be in trouble, she quickly denies it by saying that Carlotta has poisoned everybody’s mind. She accuses Carlotta of being the mastermind. There was a doubt in her answer. Somewhere in the office David saw Carlotta & Mauricio heading towards him. They both exchanged greetings. Mauricio gave an envelope that has photos taken by Juana. David was happy while Carlotta watched his action. Carlotta said that she could tell that he like Juana a lot. David confirmed her statement. This is just too good to be true for her thus gave him some encouraging words while Mauricio watched in shocked. Not far from Perez house Carlos stopped at a corner to drop A.Maria off. She’s feeling very happy & glad that they’re back together again. She has made a bad conclusion to Carlos & seeks his forgiveness. Carlos doesn’t seem to mind at all. At the same time, Salvador & Pachecho trailed a thief that was on foot. He seems to be heading towards a junction where A.Maria & Carlos standing. Pachecho was peeping & eyeing the robber. Suddenly he saw A.Maria talking to this guy. He motioned Salvador to look at where he was looking at. After quite some time, Pachecho screamed & cautioned the robber to stop. The robber began to shoot at Pachecho while Salvador ducked for cover. At Perez house Azucena was making a meat pie while Nicolas watched in delight. Nicolas was glad to see that she is now happy & well. They both like each others company … I feeeeel gooood … To be continued on Wednesday, 4th June 2003 |
