When she came back, she saw Armando joined by Brandy and Ines trying to blow up the balloons. She told them to stop and she asked Armando why he’s in her office and messing with the balloons. He told her he’s celebrating. When she and Brandy were clearing the office, Brandy told her she’s lucky because there’s a man out there who loves her enough to go to all the trouble to do this for her. Later, after they cleared up the balloons, Armando came to see her and they almost started an argument about the balloons and Enriqueta told him that they should concentrate on the negotiations going on in Mauricio’s office and hope that it’s not the end of their magazine. She was sitting in her office and she saw the envelope with a card and was very happy with the message. She told herself to calm down but she couldn’t help feeling delighted. Manuel called and she didn’t tell him she saw the card and knew it must be him. She pretended that she doesn’t know who it was and that she’s in a lot of trouble because she mixes business with pleasure. She told him she might be sacked. He remembered the time when they were in front of his house and she was worried that Brandy might see them together. He called to surprise her but he was shocked that her boss would go to such lengths to fire her just because of a prank. He told her he would take the blame. He went to see her as quickly as possible.
Mauricio was waiting when Enriqueta arrived and he questioned her about Juana going off with David. He told her Juana should be assigned to a desk job while she’s still pregnant. She told him just because Juana’s pregnant, she shouldn’t be treated any different and it might insult her if he did. She’s the happiest when she’s taking pictures. She told him she doesn’t understand his relationship with Juana, only he could understand it. She told him she respects him but she just can’t reassign Juana without any reason. He should think about Juana and what she wants rather than what he thinks is best for her. After she left, he thought back if what he’s feeling might be jealousy. He also wondered back to his conversation with Ricardo who told him he has feelings for Juana. When one of the shareholders came to see him, he was told a bad news that the guy is in a tight situation and asked Mauricio if he wants to buy the shares from him. When Desiree was to go in to the meeting, Rogelio see her outside Mauricio’s office and told her not to side with Mauricio. In the meeting, Rogelio disagrees with every suggestion Mauricio comes up with. While in the meeting, he kept thinking about Juana.
Ines brought Brandy to look at all the balloons because no one in the gossip ring believes her when she told them about it. She told Brandy that her boss is different from other females as she got angry instead of feeling delighted that someone did all this just for her.
Ana Maria came into the kitchen and saw Manuel dancing alone. She asked him what made him so happy but he wouldn’t tell her. They discussed whether to believe Juana when she told them that she’s not coming back tonight as she’s going out station. They also discussed about Mauricio and they believe that he’s sincere but they’ll have to be careful and look after Juana’s interest. They also agree that they shouldn’t receive any favours from him as he planned to pay for Juana’s delivery and medication throughout her pregnancy. She told Manuel she thinks that Mauricio is a dark prince. Azucena heard that and told them she’s surprised that they called him that after they agreed he was the Prince Charming. She asked them why the change of heart but, they wouldn’t answer her. She told them she’s going out and not to worry about her if she’s late. Manuel sensed something and asked Ana if she went to see Mauricio but she told him she didn’t go to see him but God brought him to her and she couldn’t control herself but Mauricio plays it cool. She told him Mauricio was in perfect control of the situation and he must be a fine actor because she believes everything he said. Mauricio told her he’s not going to destroy his marriage just because of Juana and Ana believes him. Later Ana told Mano she’s not going to her gym class today. She might still be angry at Carlos for leaving her.
The social worker (quite handsome, no?) came and informed Carlota that their adoption is in its last stages. All they have to do is to see a judge and he’ll ask Rafaelito some questions and they will be a family if the judge approves.
David looked happy as he’s spending quality time with Juana. He tried to convince her that he just wants to be her friend and accepts her pregnancy and he’s not going to be a jerk about it anymore. Juana took some pictures while he took some samples from the river to be tested and he told her that it is such a beautiful place and they are destroying the Mother Nature which also belongs to their descendents.
After they finished, it’s too late to go back so they went looking for a motel and found one but because there are a lot of tourists, they only have one room left and another motel is very far. Juana wanted to go but David insisted that there’s no problem in sharing a room. She was shocked to hear his answer.
