h/self... said, that Juana’s changed, felt betrayed… that’s why she took
her revenge on him & while David plans in finding ways to break his ties with his
baby. ‘Don’t you realize how important the baby is to me?’ He remembered
the part when Juana & him, in the car heading towards Aunt Eva’s cabin. Juana had
tuned up her favorite song. He was in near tears trying to contain his deep sorrow. He
said to himself… I’ve fallen in love with you, while you thought that I’m
taking advantaged of it…’ Perez house/in the living room: David told Juana to give him a call if ever she needs his help. He also wanted her to consider his suggestion of registering his name for her child. She said she’ll consider it. David bid goodbye to her & left. Manuel approached Juana & both of them talked about A.Maria. Juana felt pity to see her mother faced another failure on her relationship with man. Manuel & Juana suddenly stop talking as Azucena entered the house. Azucena saw their sour & gloomy face. They looked down & kept quiet. Azucena sensed s/thing was wrong. Outside: Salvador was seen with Petrica. Petrica talked about love & their unsuccessful plan to get Manolito & A.Maria’s attention. He said to her that he has surrender to A.Maria as he knows he has loose her. Petrica offered herself to be loved by him. He had made up his mind not to be involved in love a/more. Perez house: Azucena asked A.Maria’s whereabouts. Manuel said she’s upstairs & not feeling well. Azucena made assumption on her daughter. Juana told her that she’s like a witch. Manuel quickly changed the topic & questioned her mother where she went & why Rosita/Maria’s frequent visit to their house. Azucena kept quiet. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio entered & looked exhausted. He looked around & walked to the sofa. Perez house/in the living room: On the sofa, Juana was lying down cuddling her dog. She remembered about her favorite song as it had made her remember s/body who she’s trying to forget. She wants 2 forget e/thing… starting from that 1st kiss… it’s all a lie… Morning comes… Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio was sleeping on his couch with one leg up (abit obscene shall I say…?) Desiree got out from the room & saw Mauricio sleeping soundly. She slowly approached him & …. (Sorry; this scene has been cut by our dear NTV7) Perez house: Juana woke up suddenly & glanced at her mother sleeping at the other bed. She pitied her mother for facing such a difficulty time & both of them carrying the same pain. She remembered a part when she was at the zoo with Mauricio; on the grass when they expressed their happiness & the kiss. She told herself… despite her anger, she still love & can’t forget about Mauricio. @ the hospital: Carlota was given the reassurance by the doctor to go home & recuperate from there. The doctor advised her to take good care of herself & with the help of a nurse that will be sent over once the paperwork is done. Carlota was delighted, said she can’t wait to go home to be with Rafael & her husband again. Amparito was happy for her daughter. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio woke up suddenly, noticed Desiree was beside him… doing s/thing (earlier scene was cut, so we’ll never know what she did, thanks 2 NTV7). He got up abruptly & said to her that he needs to shower & off to the office. Desiree was surprised… & said to herself… ‘This guy is hard to trap, but there’s nothing to loose, bit by bit… he’ll sure be seduced by me.’ She smiled wickedly to herself. Perez house/downstairs: Juana called out her grandma & her uncle that she’s about to leave & go to school. Manuel came out from the kitchen & gave her a coffee to drink. He asked about A.Maria. Juana said, she’s still asleep & she doesn’t have the heart to disturb her mother. Juana was told that Azucena had left early in the morning & went off s/were. Lili’s house: Azucena was told by Rosita/Maria that Ramon didn’t come home last night. They both got worried trying to figure where Ramon could have been. Rosita insists that they do s/thing quickly. Aunt Eva’s apartment/in the washroom: Mauricio was getting ready to dress up. He said to h/self that Desiree is a nuisance & needs to act quickly to evict her out of the apartment. He saw his cell phone & thought of Juana… made a call to her house. Perez house/at the living room: Manuel continued talking to Juana about Azucena. He got up to refresh Juana’s coffee. The house phone rang; Juana answered the phone cheerfully but was frustrated when it was Mauricio who called. He told her that he knew about David’s plan & had talked to a lawyer; trying to find ways to steal his paternal right from his baby that she’s carrying. Juana’s mouth opened, surprised that he knew about it. Mauricio hoped that the idea come from David & not from her. He said… ‘How could you do s/thing like that to me?’ Manuel saw Juana on the line with Mauricio & asked her to pass the phone to him. A.Maria came down from the stairs while Juana slammed down the phone. A.Maria & Manuel asked Juana what he had said. Juana lied to them, said that she didn’t give him a chance to say a/thing. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio had ‘a word’ with Desiree. He hoped that Desiree didn’t take advantage of him & do a/thing embarrassing & stupid again. It made him feel guilty as he knows Desiree is homeless temporarily. Desiree said she’ll try to contain herself & all she needs is another 3 more days to find the right place for her to stay. Perez house: Juana asked her mother not to make that ‘schmuck’ face to her. A.Maria told her that she can’t forget what had happened yesterday & things will get worst once the baby is born as Mauricio will get even more aggressive. A.Maria was lying down on Juana’s lap & talked about their strength & weaknesses. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Mauricio was told not to worry as Desiree will do her best to behave. She told him that she needs a ride to the office since Mauricio is about to leave. He asked her to hurry up & will wait for her downstairs. Desiree said to herself that she got 3 days to make sure he fell under her charm. Perez house: Manuel calmed A.Maria down. Doorbell rang, it was David. Juana was ready to leave but David mentioned that they are needed to go & see the lawyer that he had told her earlier. The lawyer said it was urgent. Juana said… what a pure coincidence, Mauricio just called a few minutes ago… & told her, he knew all about their plan. David was upset wondering how Mauricio knew about it. Positivo: Enriqueta told Armando that Rogelio is coming to announce s/thing to them. They wondered what’s it about & felt a bit peculiar. @ the hospital: Rogelio informed Carlota that he can use Camacho after he send him & Alfredo off to work. Carlota’s guess was wrong when she thought Mauricio would come & pick her up. Carlota & Amparito have tried calling but Mauricio didn’t answered his cell phone. Rogelio hugged his daughter as he said she could stay with him temporarily. Outside near Positivo building: Mauricio stopped his car & told Desiree that he needs to go s/where first. Across the road, a car with heavily tinted glass parked by the side. The hitman rolled down the window & aims directly towards Mauricio. Desiree told Mauricio that she’s scared of Rogelio. The hitman was about to shot but was interrupted by Desiree who had hugged his target. Perez house/at the living room: A.Maria & Manuel was very uneasy about Juana & David going to see the lawyer. A.Maria jumped as she suddenly remembered her mother & thought she must have known about her ordeal. Manuel said, he doesn’t think so as lately Azucena is pretty busy going out with Rosita/Maria. Outside near Positivo building: Mauricio got upset as Desiree will delay his appointment with the lawyer. She finally got out from his car. The hitman now has a good view to shoot him but again, was unable to do so when a car had blocked his view & missed his chance. He got very angry & drove off when he saw Mauricio’s car wasn’t there a/more. Positivo/in the meeting room: Adolfo told Enriqueta, Armando & Desiree that he thinks it’s weird for Rogelio to see them. Desiree informed them that Mauricio had some urgent things to attend to. Outside/near the lawyer’s office: Mauricio parked his car at the parking lot. The hitman followed behind & parked a few meters away. Lawyer’s office: Juana & David entered & were told to wait in the meeting room. Juana told David that she was feeling nervous & unsafe about coming there. David told her to calm down & they need to confront the lawyer. He also wants to know how Mauricio knew about his plan. The lawyer arrived & saw Mauricio at the reception area. He asked him whether he’s sure to continue with his plan to discuss with David & Juana. Mauricio said yes & gave him permission to do whatever is necessary if things get haywire during their discussion. Positivo/at the meeting room: Desiree was seen restless & wondered what has kept Rogelio too long. Rogelio & Alfredo finally entered & greeted them warmly. Desiree slowly turned her head to look at Rogelio. Rogelio looked at Desiree with his cunning smile. Lawyer’s office/meeting room: David questioned the lawyer about how Mauricio got to know his plan. He admitted his mistake & regret that he had accidentally told Mauricio the other day. He didn’t know that Mauricio was involved. Juana told the lawyer that Mauricio has bad intention & wished to steal her baby away. As a lawyer, he said he will find possible ways to solve & to come up with the best solution… peacefully if possible. Juana & David got up abruptly when the lawyer opened the door to let Mauricio in. Juana & Mauricio looked at e/other. Positivo/at the meeting room: Rogelio wished not to keep them waiting any longer, try to be very specific as to what the nature of the meeting is all about. He does not wish to be seen as a selfish person & will give full support for the deal/project on their overseas business with Miami. Lawyer’s office/meeting room: David & Juana wanted to leave but was stopped by the lawyer & told them they need to discuss it calmly. He reasoned with Juana, said that her action & decision will affect the child whether he will grow up safely or not. Mauricio locked his eyes towards Juana. Outside/in the car: The hitman got restless, looked at his watch & stroked his gun waiting for Mauricio to come out from that building. Lawyer’s office/meeting room: Mauricio starts telling them that he’s had enough of being treated like a crook just because he wants to fulfill his dream to come true. He said to her, he felt lucky the moment Juana is pregnant due to the mistake in the artificial insemination. After what he has gone through with his cancer… he thanked GOD for granted him with a mother to bare his child. The mother whom he loves dearly, destined to meet. David teased him by saying he should be a writer as his words really touched him. Mauricio got very angry… told him to shut up & don’t budge in. The lawyer looked at Mauricio as he explained that he’ll accept his punishment but not separate & steal the child away from him. Juana slowly wept as David counter strike his claim. Mauricio asked Juana whether she really wants to separate him & his child that she’s carrying. Juana didn’t say a word. Positivo/at the meeting room: Rogelio finished his sentence & hope they’ll cooperate with the business deal. Rogelio showed his thumbs up when Armando, Enriqueta & Adolfo clapped their hands in appreciation. Desiree told herself there’s s/thing he’s hiding from them; it’s not that easy for him to give up. Lawyer’s office/meeting room: Mauricio & David continue to fight furiously with their bitter words. The lawyer pushed Mauricio aside. Mauricio said to David… ‘Don’t even dream! The child that she’s carrying is mine… ‘He looked at Juana & said, the child comes from him & not David. The child will have their look & not David & inside the child’s body, it will be his own blood, Juana or David will not able to deny it. David showed his pure arrogance to Mauricio & said… no worries, I’ll do whatever I can & simply register the child under my name, no law will ever stop him. Juana’s temperature rose dramatically. Positivo/at the meeting room: Desiree was about to leave but Rogelio managed to stop her. Lawyer’s office/meeting room: Mauricio continued to fight words with David. Juana finally could not stand it, she shouted at them to stop & shut their mouth from saying a/thing as if she’s not there in front of them. Positivo/at the meeting room: Rogelio saw Desiree fidgeting, restless to be with him. He threaten her & said, s/body is paying a visit to her brother at the jail. She felt helpless as he had caught her. Armando saw them. Rogelio took her arm & lead her out of the room while Alfredo looked. Lawyer’s office/meeting room: Juana expressed her feelings to Mauricio. She said she does not want to insult & hurt him, it was never her intention. Does not want to hurt him the way he did to her. Mauricio wanted to respond but Juana wished him not to say a/thing as she will not believe him. She wiped her tears, continued to inform him that deep down in her heart – his flesh & blood is flowing in her child’s body & the baby has met them together. With tears continuously rolling down her cheek, she accepted & admitted the baby to be his own flesh & blood but what she won’t believe is that fate has caused her to be inseminated with his sperm. ‘This baby is yours but from biological aspect only. Mauricio was seen crying openly & his face changed when Juana said the last phrase. He felt devastated.
