In Rogelio’s office: Rogelio was listening to Carlota’s whinnying about Mauricio & Juana’s condition. Juana got pregnant due to the hospital’s mistake in injecting through artificial insemination. Desiree was listening behind the door attentively trying to get what every word had said by Carlota. Rogelio was surprised to know the actual incident, now he understands as to why Mauricio is behaving pretty weird lately. Carlota further told his dad that, Mauricio left her because of the baby that Juana is carrying inside her body. A baby boy is so important to her husband. At the same time, Desiree kept on listening while holding her glass & a wine bottle. She looks quite comfortable standing behind the door.

Positivo’s office: Juana was happy looking at Brandy’s gift – a silver locket with a sun pendant. She had wanted to buy something similar but could not afford it. She’s grateful for the gift. Brandy smiled knowing that Juana had appreciated her gift & they both hugged each other. After a while, Brandy tried coaxing Juana to tell her what had happened at Carlota’s house but Juana denied. 

In Rogelio’s office: Carlota still in her sad awful mood kept on telling Rogelio about her life that is going down the hill. Rogelio wished that her daughter would not disclose him about their intimate problem as he would not want Desiree to hear at the other end of the door. Carlota told him that she usually confide in him regarding about it. If Carlota knew earlier that Juana is pregnant of Mauricio’s baby, she definitely would’ve offered her & her family the money especially to get her to abort the unborn child. What she’s afraid is, if Juana finds out, she would want to ask Mauricio to marry her etc.

Positivo’s office: Juana finally told Brandy of her feelings & started to shed tears. She told her that even Rafael thought her to be the marriage breaker. Brandy told her to stay calm. David suddenly got into the room & saw Juana wiping her tears away. He knew that Juana is crying over something.

In Mauricio’s office: Mauricio was discussing with Enriqueta about Armando & his accusation towards him. He said that he had informed Carlota about him claiming to be the father to Juana’s baby. Enriqueta had that surprised looked on her face. Mauricio further told her that he wished to inform Juana as soon as possible.

Lili’s house: Lili mopped her living room when Ramon came & asked her permission to sit on her sofa. She could sensed that Ramon’s face was pale & looked sick, the same look like she saw on her mother’s face.

In the office: Juana continued to chat with Brandy about her feelings & how it had affected her judgment toward her pregnancy. Brandy assured her not to worry about it as time will make her like the baby. Juana turned her head & saw David busily doing his work on his desk. She remembered what David had asked her during the day that she stayed in his apartment. Brandy disrupts her mind by telling that David’s wound had to be stitched as the cut was deep. A few minutes after that, David turned his head & saw Juana looking at him.

In Mauricio’s office: Enriqueta told Mauricio that his suggestion was good so that Juana will never be kept in the dark of her pregnancy. Enriqueta assured Mauricio that Juana will be glad if she gets to know who the father of her baby as time will make her change her mind. That made Mauricio felt at ease.

In the office: Juana sat across David’s table. They talked about his wound. He mentioned that it didn’t hurt as much as when he sees her cry. Juana was touched by his concerned & how great his love towards her. She thanked him for that. Brandy was standing at the corner of the room & saw them chatting. Armando got out from a room, stomped like a gorilla past Brandy which he had knocked her elbows. She shouted in pain… he said sorry & raised his voice to La Bibi to step into his office. Juana suddenly saw Brandy looking at her; she felt uneasy & looked the other way.

In Rogelio’s office: Rogelio gave his daughter a sedative pill to calm her down. She swallowed the pill & thanked him for spending time to listen to her problems. If she kept on to her feelings, she definitely will go bonkers. Desiree on the other hand, was quite bored listening to them chattering about. Rogelio wants her to go back & try to stay calm while he thinks of something to put a pressure on Mauricio. Carlota does not care whatever his dad’s plan just as long as Mauricio is close to her. Rogelio told her to go to her mother’s house; he’ll be with her as soon as he finished his work. As soon as Carlota leaves, Desiree got out & sighed in relieved, thought she’d be dead staying in that room … felt like ages.  Rogelio looked on.

In Armando’s room/office: La Bibi was with Armando listening to him whining over the company’s bad situation. He told her about Rogelio who, looks like a king, ordering whatever he likes while Mauricio de la Vega, played a role of Pontius Pilate in love with Juana Maria Magdalene, of being the slave & humble that will go straight to hell. They are in a crisis & will collapse at any time. La Bibi got the big scoop knowing that there’s a scandal going on in their company. Armando told her that he should have listened to what Desiree had told him…

In Rogelio’s office: Rogelio told her to keep a secret as to what she had listened. Desiree made that innocent face as telling him that she knew nothing about it. Rogelio hugged her & she made that disgusted looked behind him.

In Enriqueta’s room/office: Enriqueta had called Juana & Humberto to settle their problems. They had some disagreement towards the earlier incident. She still accused Humberto was behind it after all while Humberto denied her accusation. Enriqueta finally managed to coax them together to push aside their emotions, compromise & starts concentrating on their upcoming work. Juana will try to be careful & will be on guard of her belongings in the future.

In Juana’s photo lab/office: Mauricio went in to look for Juana but she wasn’t in. A small cute gift has caught his attention to which he took it & starts wondering what & who had given her a gift. Brandy came in suddenly just in time to inform him about Juana’s where about. He asked her about the gift, she admitted that it was from her to Juana, an advance gift for her tomorrow’s birthday. Mauricio was surprised as he’d forgotten all about it. He remembered what he had said to Juana when they were at the park… that he’d take her to his cabin to celebrate. He asked Brandy what she thinks about Juana’s latest condition. She told him that she not herself anymore. She seen so many times of her sad conditioned compared than her happier times. Mauricio gave assurance to her; he never meant to play Juana feelings.

In Rogelio’s office: Desiree had to listen to his lengthy opinion about Carlota’s problem. She’s bored to death & wishes that he ends the topic soon. Desiree came up with a suggestion, let Carlota leave Mauricio for good. She will get on with her life much better just like what Desiree is doing.

In the clinic: Desiree come barging in Dr. Ricardo’s room. He just finished on checking a patient just now. Carlota teased him for not understanding why she had paid him a visit.

Lili’s house: Ramon listened attentively to Lili’s talk about Juana’s life. He was surprised to know that she got kicked out from her school & that her study loan had been cancelled.

In the clinic: Carlota told Dr. Ricardo that, Mauricio had left her for Juana. She was pissed off for not being informed earlier about Juana’s pregnancy. She pushed his document to the floor, to show her raging anger.

In Juana’s photo lab: Juana came in while Humberto tagged along. They talked about compromising & to split their work equally. Juana told herself… Humberto would have hated so much for what his sister’s is going through while Humberto thought that Juana was not what Carlota had predicted about her.

In the clinic: Carlota accused Dr. Ricardo had knew Mauricio was planning to leave her sooner or later. He denied it.

In Juana’s photo lab: Juana was feeling sad, she wiped her tears while Humberto noticed it. Juana mentioned to him about Rafael & how close she was with him.

In the clinic: Carlota swears to him that she’d do something about it & left the room without giving a chance for Dr. Ricardo to say something.

In the fitness center: Carlos had just finished his lesson together with his students. He came & chatted with A.Maria. She wanted to tell him about her good news.

At Perez house: Manuel thanked Salvador for the ride. He offered him to have a drink; he’d rejected but finally agreed as they can talk more about the latest news.

In the fitness center: A.Maria told him about his father that she hasn’t seen for so long & that he had reside at Lili’s house. Carlos was feeling bored listening to A.Maria’s endless conversation.  Carlos was distracted by a lady who was pointing & acknowledging him for looking at her.

In the office: Ines connected Aunt Eva’s call to Mauricio’s line. Mauricio greeted her. She told him, she had kidnapped Rafael. She assured him that he’s safe & not to worry so much. He asked her whether she had news from Carlota. Aunt Eva told him, she does not know anything & ended her call abruptly.

At Perez house: After drinking coffee with Manuel, Salvador excused himself as he had a lot of work to be done.

In Mauricio’s office: Mauricio was saying to himself… he had to do something to make Juana happy for her birthday. He was unsure whether tomorrow is a good day for him to tell her the truth about her pregnancy. He intercom Juana & informed her, he wanted to see her right away. Juana looked at Humberto & gave him a smile.

In the fitness center: A.Maria combed her hair while waiting for Carlos to come out from his locker room. She invited Carlos for Juana’s birthday party but he had doubt whether to go or not. After much coaxing, Carlos agreed. She also asked him to send her back home but he gave so many excuses to avoid from seeing her.

In Mauricio’s office: Mauricio welcomed Juana in. Juana kept her distance & warned him to do the same. Mauricio noticed that she’s acting differently trying to defend herself from being close to him. Mauricio asked her not to put a barrier between them. He wanted to discuss something important but was feeling uncomfortable at Juana’s peculiar behavior as she’s trying her best to be so formal to him. Juana still felt the pain that she had gone through, she could not describe it to him.

David entered Juana’s photo lab. He was searching for Juana but saw Humberto instead. Humberto wish him not to go as he’d like to talk about Juana with him. David told him about Juana’s problem & how Mauricio is at fault for making her feel sad & bitter. He told him that Carlota had paid him a visit at his apartment, looking miserable.

In Mauricio’s office: Mauricio did not agree with Juana’s opinion. She had asked him to go back home with Carlota & Rafael. He told her that his life with Carlota had ended & it was not because of her. He wanted to tell her about tomorrow’s outcome. He informed her that her nightmare will finally be over starting tomorrow. He wanted Juana to promise that she’d come to the cabin & celebrate her birthday together. It would be the last request that he’d asked from her. After that, she will have to decide on their future together. Juana was confused…
