At the emergency ward: Mauricio & Juana continued to talk… Mauricio was surprised that Juana still didn’t believe him that he love her. All she wants him to do is think who would want to kill him. Mauricio told her that he doesn’t like to speculate w/out any concrete evidence but he’s sure Carlota is not related or involved. He had a hunch & there’s a big possibility that his father in law is behind & has arranged for his death. She told him to do s/thing about it & start investigates who is involved. Today David has been shot; 2morrow… maybe Mauricio will be the next target.

De la Vega’s house/living room: Amparito told Father Jose to understand her daughter is still unwell & has been a bit rough with the kids just now. The doorbell rang, Amparito went to the door… It was Rogelio. She told Rogelio that Father Jose & the children paid a visit to Carlota & Rafael. She told him Carlota is upstairs. Before she went up with Rogelio, she told Father Jose to make himself at home. Father Jose was curious while he looked at them going up the stairs.

 At the emergency ward: Juana made a call to Brandy. She was upset as she had tried calling her several times but couldn’t get the line. She was worried of David.  Juana got the courage to tell Brandy that David has been shot.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Rogelio told his daughter to calm down as he does not know what Carlota is saying. From what she knows, she had told Rogelio not to harm Mauricio. He convinced her daughter he had made peace with Mauricio & had told the staff that morning about him giving full support for the project. Carlota wants him to tell the truth, whether he can be sure her husband is safe & sound. Rogelio’s body language showed he doesn’t know.

At the emergency ward: Juana said to Mauricio, she had informed Brandy about David & asked Mauricio ought to do the same thing to his staff. A doctor got out from the room, Juana & Mauricio approached him… asked for David’s latest condition & the operation. The doc just stared at them, trying to find words…

Positivo/staff hall: Brandy, still holding the phone, panicked to hear bad news about David. She started to cry as her mind wondered whether David is ok or not. She doesn’t know what to do…

At the other corner, Shiva was flirting with Humberto while Ines & LaBibi listened what Humberto would say. Shiva had asked him of how he felt when taking pictures of half naked men. Poepeye approached Brandy & asked what happened. Suddenly Aunt Eva was there to ask her about Mauricio. Brandy broke down in tears in front of them. Aunt Eva got scared of her reaction as she feared the worst. Shiva & Ines saw the commotion.

At the emergency ward: The doctor told them… David’s in the recovery room, still unconscious. They have to be patient & he’ll pay a visit once David showed any sign. Juana told Mauricio… David will sure be very frustrated if he knew he won’t be able to walk again. It’s so unfair, she said. Mauricio blamed himself silently.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Rogelio & Carlota talked about Mauricio. She told him, he can be sure she won’t be happy forever if a/thing happened to Mauricio.

Positivo/staff hall: Ines gave Brandy a glass of water while her colleagues had gathered around her to know what had happened. Aunt Eva was told by Brandy that Juana’s no might be stored. Aunt Eva asked Ines to find out the no from the operator.

At the emergency ward: Juana slouched herself on the couch wondering what has kept the doctor too long. After that, a nurse got out & yelled out for David Quintanna’s family. Juana & Mauricio got up & rushed to the nurse. She told them, David is out from the recovery room & into his own room. They were relieved to hear it.

De la Vega’s house/living room: Father Jose asked Rafael why he’s so unhappy & not playing with his friends. He said, he’d prefer to wait for Mauricio. He was shocked when Rafael told him that Mauricio is not staying at the house a/more & he does not love Carlota but Juana.

Upstairs: Carlota told Rogelio about her guts saying she knew his father might do s/thing to Mauricio. He pretended & showed his upset look. Amparito came into her daughter’s bedroom & disturbed them as she relayed the bad news to Carlota that Mauricio nearly got killed as David had save him in the nick of time. She felt nervous while Rogelio was surprised 2 hear it… well, it’s certainly bad news for him.

Police station/Salvador’s room: A.Maria accidentally went in to see Petrica & Salvador kissing. Salvador knew that she’s there to know any latest news about her father, Ramon. Petrica was seen clinging on to Salvador like a leech. Salvador assured her he’s doing all he can to help find her missing father. Pachecho walked in & told Salvador that there’s s/thing urgent has come up. He excused himself & left A.Maria to be with Petrica. They looked at e/other.

Hospital/David’s room: David was on the bed half lying down feeling groggy & confused. Juana & Mauricio entered the room & saw him opened his eyes. Juana said she’s here to accompany David. David asked about Mauricio if he’s alright. Mauricio thanked him for saving his life. Juana stroked David’s eyebrows & his hair.

Police station/Salvador’s room: A.Maria & Petrica took turns looking at e/other… feeling restless. Petrica had teased A.Maria & assumed she’s just jealous when she saw them kissing. Petrica knows that there’s some chemistry going on between A.Maria & Salvador but right now, Salvador is hers. A.Maria was given the chance earlier to love him but she wasted it.

Hospital/David’s room: David felt exhausted. Juana told him to rest & gets some sleep. He asked how the operation went. He got worried when he felt like he can only feel half of his body. Juana could not stand it & left the room.

Positivo/staff hall: Popeye explained what had happened to Enriqueta. Shiva got so emotional & broke down in tears.

Hospital/corridor: Brandy rushed & hugged Juana while Aunt Eva asked what happened. Juana told them to stay calm as try to think of how to break the news.

David’s room: David told Mauricio, the minute he saw the guy with his pistol pointing towards him; he only knew he had to save Mauricio. He wanted him to tell the truth what the doctor had said.

Hospital/corridor: Juana told them about the bullet that was meant for him. David is fine after the surgery but doctor is not sure whether David is able to walk again. Brandy instantly cried & hugged Juana.

David’s room: David told Mauricio not to ‘bid around the bush’ & start telling him s/thing. Mauricio finally told him that due to his damaged spinal cord… David might not able to use his legs.

Aunt Eva’s apartment: Desiree drank & thought to herself about what Rogelio had said to her. Her phone rang, it was from Armando… He told her the bad news & what he knew so far. Desiree’s guess was correct. She got pissed off when Armando told her about Juana as she’s with them at the moment. She said she has to solve the problem once & for all… she left the apartment.

Hospital/David’s room: David was crying & said… now he understood why Mauricio is reluctant to say s/thing to him. Mauricio wiped her tears when Brandy walked in & she wiped her tears… David told her what happened. She blamed Mauricio for causing all this to happen. She got very emotional & rushed to David’s side. Mauricio left the room.

Perez house: Manuel was on the sofa, mind wondered about Ramon. Doorbell rang… it was Enriqueta. She said s/thing had happened to David.

Hospital/corridor: Rogelio came to pay a visit. Juana teased Rogelio about the wrong guy who got shot. Aunt Eva joined in & gave a piece of her mind to him w/out filtering. She knew Rogelio has ordered s/body to shoot Mauricio.

Perez house: Paco was with Azucena in the kitchen when Manuel rushed in together with Enriqueta. He asked where A.Maria is. He told Azucena David had been shot. Azucena was shocked.

Hospital/corridor: Mauricio told Aunt Eva that she can’t simply accused Rgelio. Rogelio agreed with Mauricio.

David’s room: David was in his low self esteem mode as Brandy tried to coax him & gave moral support. She said he’ll recover. David said don’t count your hope too much. She suddenly kissed him. David told her that her love will not make him recover. She said… we’ll see then…

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Amparito pleaded with Carlota not to make wrong accusation to her father. Father Jose suddenly entered Carlota’s bedroom to discuss about Rafael. He’s worried about his future.

Hospital/corridor: Mauricio cautioned Aunt Eva to be careful with her words & it’s not the right time to be saying a/thing. Mauricio blamed himself for what David had to suffer. He left… Friom one corner, Rogelio looked at Aunt Eva.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Father Jose queried about Carlota’s marriage.

Hospital/corridor: Juana told Manuel & Enriqueta about David. She seeks Enirqueta’s opinion whether she thinks Rogelio is potential to employ s/body to kill Mauricio.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Father Jose was surprised as he thought Mauricio & Carlota got married in a church. She said they’re very practical couple. Suddenly Desiree entered & told them she needs to speak to Carlota.

Hospital: Aunt Eva told Juana to stay away from problems that may affect her & the baby.  Juana said to Aunt Eva she won’t leave David as she needs to accompany him. She coaxed Juana to follow her at least get s/thing to eat for her & the baby inside. She needs to take care of her health.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Father Jose excused himself & Amparito followed him. Desiree told Carlota what had happened & that Juana is with them right now. Carlota got up & feeling upset. Juana should be destroyed.

Hospital: Enriqueta asked Manuel why he didn’t call. He said… he’s busy with his new project. Enriqueta assumed that Manuel’s scared to have a commitment by staying at her apartment.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Carlota said to Desiree… ‘Dealing with you is liked dealing with the devil…’ Desiree also wants 2 make sure Juana Perez is not in Mauricio’s life forever. They need a drastic decision & she’ll be glad to leave.

Downstairs: Father Jose told Amparito that he will have a word with Mauricio & Juana. He asked the children to get ready to go back.

Upstairs: Carlota asked Desiree what’s her plan. All Carlota needs to do is to fork out cash as she’ll try to get s/body good to do their dirty job.

S/where outside: Rogelio was beside the Prado & held a gun ( I think he killed the hitman)… went to Camacho & asked him to do his part.

De la Vega’s house/upstairs: Desiree asked Carlota… ‘So are you in or out?’ Desiree asked her not to speak or leak it to a/body… not even to his father

S/where outside: Camacho was happy to throw petrol all over the prado. He told him that they are many ways to do it.

Aunt Eva’s cabin: Juana was sleeping when Aunt Eva stopped her car. Juana woke up suddenly & asked why she was taken there.

Hospital/David’s room: Brandy was beside David when a nurse came in to offer her pillows & blankets.

Aunt Eva’s cabin: Inside, on the sofa… Mauricio was sleeping soundly with one leg on the arm’s chair. He woke up abruptly & heard the front door being slammed. Juana entered, dragged herself to the living room. Mauricio was surprised & a bit happy to see Juana. He asked her why she’s here at the cabin. Juana gave that ‘I don’t know, you tell me’ look…

'sólo a tu lado quiero vivir ... sin ti mi cielo se vuelve gris ...dime que hacer si no estás aqui...'
