MAURICIO'S OFFICE :
After Brandy left his office Mauricio ask his secretary to get Juana's phone # and he
called Juana's house but she hung up on him and didn't put back the receiver on the phone
so he can't call back. Mauricio was besides himself and he can't concentrate on his work.
Then detective Gamboa arrived at his office. He brings good news. Gamboa told Mauricio he
hangs around Juana's house and found out that she is still pregnant with his child. He
also brought the certificate which is popular in the Bario ( neighbourhood) that certifies
that even though Juana is pregnant she is still a virgen. And all sorts of stories that is
related to the certificate which is miraculous and powerful and can bring good fortune to
who has it. David found out from Popeye that Juana is no longer working in Positiva. Later
Alfredo came in to investigate if Mauricio knows why Juana has not check in but Mauricio
lied by telling Alfredo he doesn't know anything. Alfrodo told him that Juana might be a
girl with problems coz she is a school dropout and might be pregnant.
DR. RICARDO'S OFFICE : Desiree went to see him on the pretext that she has some problems
and she was referred to him by Carlota. When Dr. Ricardo wants to refer her to another
doc, she told him the real reason for her visit which is to help her friend Carlota coz
her marriage is on the rocks and if Desiree knows the name of the pregnant girl, she might
be able to hepl her friend. When Ricardo is not forthcoming with the girl's name, she goes
to plan B by asking him out.
MAURICIO'S HOUSE : Carlota told Alfredo that she doesn't think that Juana is the problem
and told him of Juana's pregnancy and the kind of girl she is to be pregnant at that age.
Carlota asks her brother to inform Mauricio of the girl's condition and call her back.
Alfredo called back and told her that Juana is certainly on Mauricio's mind. But Carlota
decided that she will not get jealous again and told herself that Mauricio might be having
fatherly affection for Juana because he can't get a child of his own.
JUANA'S HOUSE : Juana's mother told her that if she is not going to work, she will have to
go back to school. Then the phone rang and it was Mauricio but she hung up. Her
grandmother is angry coz the phone receiver is not on the phone and asks her to help with
the pie business. There is a reporter outside who got a tip from the police station about
a miraculous girl who is pregnant but still a virgin. When Juana came out the reporter
took some pics of her and she was angry at Nicolas for talking to the man about her. She
went back inside and nervously wait for Mauricio to call and got angry when the door bell
rang. It was Mauricio standing at the door.
