Carlota what she had done to Juana on that day. She assured her; Juana had
begun to hate Mauricio right after she knew the whole story. Rogelio’s office: Mauricio told Rogelio, it’s hard for him to believe that he wants to make peace with him. Rogelio continued to deceive him with his sweet laced words. He was about to talk about Juana but Mauricio wish not to bring that subject up. He told Mauricio that he love Desiree very much. Hospital: Desiree gave tip to the delivery boy & went to get her a cup of coffee. On the bed, Carlota watched Desiree & said to herself… ‘What is your true intention?’ She felt very uneasy with her so called help… Carlota expressed her gratitude to Desiree for helping her as she had spoke to Juana about the baby & updated to her.. Desiree said… ‘What are friends for?’ Carlota smiled while in her heart said… no, no, you are up to s/thing. She said, ‘I may sound rude but it’s hard for me to believe you has done all this because you adored me, what is it that you want hmmm?’ Desiree was caught by surprised with her remarks. Rogelio’s office: Mauricio brought up the subject of Desiree. Rogelio looked surprised. He said… ‘Do you think I’m that bad? I must admit that I had argued with Desiree because of certain matters but I never mix business with personal matters. Don’t you know my character all awhile?’ Mauricio held out his hand to shake with Rogelio. He hoped that Rogelio is telling the truth & bid him goodbye. After he left, Rogelio said to himself… ‘Believe me; you’re heading to the right direction…’ Hospital: Desiree was disappointed with Carlota’s statement. She told Carlota, she did it sincerely. Carlota added she doesn’t have to pretend with her as she has known her quite well about her behavior. Before Desiree left, she told her, she hoped she regains her memory soon as it would be worst to not remember a/thing. Carlota closed her eyes trying to contain her anger. As soon as Desiree got out, Amparito approached her & asked whether she had finished talking to her daughter. Amparito requested Humberto to accompany her sister in the room while they both looked sharply at each other. Positivo/in the lounge room: David discussed about the confidentiality of what he’s going to tell him. He really needs his full cooperation not to disclose it to a/body. Hospital/at the corridor: Amparito requested Desiree to leave immediately but be4 that, she wants her to know she didn’t believe her to be nice. Carlota may believe her blindly but not her, not a single word that’s coming out from Desiree’s mouth. Both argued to defend each other’s remarks. Amparito was a bit surprised when Desiree told her; she’s the only person who’s willingly to accept Rogelio Vivas as no other loves him. Positivo/at the lounge room: David briefly mentioned to the lawyer of Mauricio & Juana’s scenario. He wants to know what he can do 2 make sure Mauricio does not get close to Juana & to her baby. Perez house: Azucena was seen repairing her family’s clothes. Manuel entered & Azucena was relieved to see him. She started to get mad at Manuel because he didn’t return home yesterday. He said he had called many times but nobody picked up. She asked him at what time… he said he doesn’t know, as there was 1 time the line was engaged & after that, nobody picked it up. Azucena said… ‘Did you just see a ‘stupid’ sign written on my face?’ She had waited near the phone the whole night, nada… He finally confessed to her about going out to solve his personal problem. She teased him of thinking her house to be of a hotel, a laundry shop or a restaurant. Manuel approached & calmed his mother down. Azucena was panting to catch her breath. In the school/near a public phone: A.Maria called Carlos to in4m him of her good news. She told him, she got her old job back at her previous school. Carlos was not really into the conversation; he ended it quickly as a woman was waiting for him. He hugged her after that. Positivo/at the lounge room: David smiled as the lawyer gave him suggestion about how to handle his situation. A.Maria walked o/side the school yard as Juana saw & immediately approached her mother. She was munching a snack. She asked her mother on how her day was. At the same time, Mauricio drove slowly into the school yard while Nicolas was beside Mauricio, guiding him all the way. Hospital: Amparito asked her daughter what she & Desiree were talking about. She told Amparito how confused she was when Desiree had knew & been to the cabin much earlier than his husband as she waited to talk with Juana. Her mother warned her to be extra careful with the Desiree. At the school: Mauricio was seen walking along the school’s corridor searching for Juana. He suddenly saw Juana seating with her friends outside from an open window. Hospital: Amparito begged Carlota to listen to her & to be careful to that snake eye Desiree. Amparito told his daughter, what Desiree had done at the shareholder’s meeting. She had turned the vote against Rogelio because of wanting to be on Mauricio side. At the school: Mauricio kept on staring at Juana. He really missed Juana, missed her smile & her voice… how he long for her. Positivo/Armando’s room: Desiree tried to explain to him on why she didn’t answer her phone. Armando asked her whether she needed his help or not. She said thanks but told him, Mauricio had come first to volunteer & help to protect her. Rogelio’s office: Camacho assured Rogelio about the hit man as he is the best in town. At the school: Mauricio still standing at the opened window as he smiled to himself. The school bell rang to show that lunch was over for the students. He said, if only Juana could hear his plea. Juana turned her head & suddenly thought she’d seen Mauricio’s shadow. Lili demanded that they return to their class. Positivo/lounge room: Brandy was confused of David’s enthusiasm in figuring out ways to stop Mauricio from claiming his right for Juana’s baby. Brandy said… ‘Don’t be a fool… in this life, we have to think realistically.’ She reminded him that Juana did not love her at all. She asked him whether he like to live with s/body who does not love him back. David was in pain hearing what Brandy had mentioned. Positivo/near Ines workplace: Rene stepped in & suddenly saw Desiree. She had threatened Rene of not disclosing her secret to a/body. Perez house: Juana showed her cute basset puppy to Nicolas. Nicolas asked Juana whether she did bump into Mauricio or not. He was asked in detail by Juana. Hospital: Mauricio asked Carlota how she was doing. She’s unwell & would like him to come back with her as she hates lying on the bed doing nothing. Mauricio felt guilty. Carlota requested a hug from him. Perez house: David told Azucena & A.Maria, that he has seen a lawyer & a few possibilities came up but first he needs to speak with Juana alone. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Desiree got in with the help of his neighbor that has a spare key to the apartment. She was glad to be back in his apartment. Enriqueta’s office: Enriqueta & Brandy chatted about Manuel & his parents. She wanted to know whether she have hopes for them to have a serious relationship. Perez house: Juana was surprised as David had suggested himself to adopt Juana’s baby & become a father. Perez house: Manuel was seen busily designing a shirt. A.Maria expressed her delight of going back to school to Manuel. A.Maria provide her words of wisdom to him. Enriqueta’s office: Brandy assured Enriqueta that Manuel really like her. Enriqueta was glad about it. For the 1st time, she had found the right man to spend the rest of her life. Perez house: David stressed his feelings again to Juana. David suggests whether she wants to go out with him & his roommate will bring his girlfriend. He informed her that the lady that is going out with his roommate is quite older than Carlos. Night falls… Hospital: Mauricio contemplates about Carlota’s health. He remembered what Dr. Ricardo had said to him about not making her get too stressed. He starts thinking about Juana. Amparito walked in to accompany her daughter for the night. Before Mauricio left, she reminded him to be responsible, to come & visit her wife back tomorrow. Aunt Eva’s apartment: Desiree wondered where Mauricio is at that time. She remembered about Mauricio’s kiss but he suddenly pushed himself away from her. She said its okay, she’ll try to seduce him again & see who wins this time. Hospital: Amparito asked Car lota as she’d like to know how long she intends to pretend of being sick & loosing her memory. She said, as long as it takes for Mauricio to be with her again. What she needs her mother to do is try to persuade Juana to abort her child. Amparito stared blankly at her daughter.
