| In the office: Carlota talked to David
that, she’d only want 2 talk to Juana alone but David did not trust of leaving her
alone with Juana as she looked unstable. She holds her hand bag tightly to her arms. Juana
informs David & Humberto to leave them alone or else they’d go s/where else.
Humberto told Juana that he’d be right at the door in case she needs him. After they
left, Juana told Carlota to speak what’s on her mind. Carlota’s hand was already
reaching into her bag to take the gun out. Armando was puzzled as to why Desiree needed Aunt Eva’s cabin address. She told him to trust her if he wants her to safe the company. Armando was reluctant to help but finally gave in as he said that he’ll find out soon. Desiree thanked him profusely & instantly hugged him. In Juana’s photo lab: Carlota told Juana that she will solve her problem once & for all. She was about to take the gun but Humberto & Alfredo came on time to rescuer the moment. Alfonso informed to her sister that their parents were worried sick about her. Humberto lead Juana out of her room while Alfonso asked his sister to hand out the gun to him. Humberto was shocked to see his sister’s capable to do such a thing. She seems not to know what she can do nowadays. Carlota started crying openly. Juana hurriedly walked to the other corner & David approached to give moral support for her. She told him that, she was afraid upon seeing Humberto & Alfredo. David said that, she’s not responsible over Mauricio’s problem and so on and so on. Mauricio walked in & heard what David had said. He agreed with him & said that, he’s trying his best to sort out things with Juana. David & Mauricio exchanged a few words. Juana sensed that the situation was about to get nasty, she excused herself to get a drink. In Juana’s photo lab: Humberto scolded his sister while Alfredo kept silence. Humberto said… ‘Have you gone out of your mind, you want to kill Juana?’ Carlota insists to exterminate Juana whatever it cost. Juana stole her husband & she should defend herself. She continued to cry. In the office/lounge room: Juana was drinking when she saw David & Mauricio entered … they both continued exchanging harsh words between them as if Juana was not around. David does not believe Mauricio’s style a/more & he’s not afraid to voice his opinion this time. To him, Mauricio is ‘pain in the ass’ for not telling the truth earlier. In Juana’s photo lab: Carlot suggested a few ideas on how to get rid of Juana. Humberto kept on telling her that, she’s crazy & they do not come from a bad background. Yada yadaa yadaa … on & on they argued till Desiree walked in to interrupt them. Humberto said that, she’s no shame walking in & being a busy body. Carlota told Desiree to get out but she insisted to stay, as she needs to let her know s/thing important. Humberto & Alfredo were confused because of her sudden kindness towards their sister. In the office/lounge room: David demanded Mauricio to tell Juana the truth as he wants to be the witness; whether he’s being honest or not. Mauricio seems to ‘bid around the bush’ buying more time to make David loose his interest. Enriqueta saved Mauricio’s problem when she came in, interrupting & telling Juana that she’s giving a day off for tomorrow since it’s her birthday. David was surprised. He was not aware of such new policy given staff to celebrate their day off. He knew that Mauricio is behind it. David walked out with, shouting in disagreement. Mauricio felt relieved but Juana’s face shown worried ness. She’s still kept in the dark as to what will happened tomorrow. In Juana’s photo lab: Alfredo said that Desiree is not to be trusted. Carlota made the decision to hear what she has to say. She informed her brothers to leave them alone. Desiree reported that Mauricio is going to see Juana tomorrow. She continued to tell her that tomorrow will be Juana’s birthday & he’ll celebrate it together. She wants Carlota to trust her… she will try to get Mauricio back for her. Juana was about to leave but was stopped by David as he asked her to forgive him for the caused he had done. He offered her a ride home for which Juana finally agreed. In Juana’s photo lab: Carlota asked her what she could do to help. Desiree told her, she needs to trust her first, then make sure Mauricio does not get out from her house at any cost. She said it’s impossible, as he’s not leaving with her a/more. She said … at any cost, just make sure he sticks close to you. On the other hand, Desiree will take care of Juana. At Petrica’s house: Salvador & Petrica were discussing about the party. She thinks that he should attend it as the Perez had asked his favor. At Perez house: Manuel counted the money that was given by Azucena. Not that much, but enough to buy a small cake for tomorrow’s party. Manuel will make sure that he gets more money from repairing electrical items. A.Maria got back & was seen carrying a lot of plastic bags. She had bought a lot of things & this makes Azucena surprised as to where she got the money. A.Maria told Manuel & Azucena that, it’s from Ramon. Manuel & Azucena argued with A.Maria & had asked her to take it back or give it to their neighbors. In Juana’s photo lab: Mauricio was with Carlota, asked her what she was doing. She distracted Mauricio by pretending being sick & fainted in his arms. Mauricio got worried & called her name several times but no answers. Humberto & Alfredo were just in time to see the commotion. They were worried, asked Mauricio to take her back home to rest. Mauricio picked her up & left the office. At Perez house: Manuel could not stand their endless bickering, he stomped out from the house. At Lili’s house: Ramon told Maria that he had given money to his daughter, as she’d like to celebrate Juana’s birthday that will be held tomorrow. Maria scolded him, as the money is needed to buy his expensive medicine. Now with no more money, she’ll worry more, as his illness is getting worst. They didn’t know that, Lili had accidentally heard their conversation behind a door. At Perez house: Mother & daughter continued attacking each other. Juana brought David into her house & saw them fighting. David was stuck in between their family problem. In the office/lounge room: Enriqueta was seen drinking… Manuel walked in to the room & showed a gloomy face. He’d missed her a lot he said. He asked her to hug him & not let go. Enriqueta consoled him. They both locked into each other’s hug as Manuel not wanting to let go. She smiled at him. Night comes at de la Vega’s house: In the living room - Carlota’s family confronted Mauricio. Amparito got mad at him for making her daughter sick. Aunt Eva returned home with Rafael. Rafael asked them, what’s going on & where his mother. They both exchanged glance but kept silence. Upstairs, in the bedroom: Dr. Ricardo checked on Carlota. He’d prescribed sedative pills to relax her. He warned her to take it wisely, as the pills are very dangerous if taken too much. Right after Dr. Ricardo left her bedroom, Carlota sprung like a spring – happy that she’d able to deceived him. She was talking to herself & didn’t notice Rafael have heard her saying about Juana’s baby & Mauricio being the father. Downstairs, Dr. Ricardo calmed Carlota’s family, said that she’s fine & her blood pressure seems to be low than average. With proper food, she’d be back to normal… exclaimed Dr. Ricardo. Dr. Ricardo told Mauricio to take care of his wife & treat her nicely as she had stressed out. Rogelio looked at Mauricio with his sharp & cunning eyes. Upstairs, Carlota dragged Rafael in & made him understand that, she has turned into a crazy woman because of Juana. Morning comes at Perez house: In the living room, Juana closed her eyes as A.Maria with a cake in hand approached Juana & sang the birthday song. Both A.Maria & Azucena were happy despite them disagreeing about Ramon. Juana was so overjoyed as she blown out the candles. Azucena surprised Juana with a present that, it was deer to her – a brooch (if I’m not mistaken). It’s been with her for so long, she’s passing it to her. Juana was touched by the precious gift. De la Vega’s house: Aunt Eva helped Rafael to wear his school uniform. Rafael does not wish to go to school, as he’d like to be with Mauricio & especially Carlota. Aunt Eva agreed with him & told him that she’d be around to accompany him. Upstairs, Tania sent breakfast to Carlota, as she was still lying on the bed pretended to be sick while Mauricio looked at her attentively. Carlota had sensed that Mauricio want to go but gave so many excuses to prevent him from leaving. She made a stunt by pretending to faint when Mauricio held her to assist to the washroom. He was in a difficult situation as part of him wants to get out fast to be with Juana at the cabin & part of him pitied Carlota. He was concerned to see her in that condition. At Aunt Eva’s cabin: Juana had arrived with her Pitusa. She took a deep breath to smell the air surroundings the cabin. She liked it, feels like home to her. She was puzzled as Mauricio has not arrived yet. She rang the doorbell but no one answered, finally reached the flower pot to retrieve the spare keys & opened the front door. De la Vega’s house: Mauricio had to endure what she is doing to him. Somehow or rather, he knew that Carlota is up to something but could not confirmed it. At Aunt Eva’s cabin: Juana entered the bedroom to look around but nobody was there. She went out & remembered the sofa where she’d slept together with Mauricio. The doorbell rang, thought it would be Mauricio but when she opened, it was Desiree. Both had tried pushing the door nobody budged in. De la Vega’s house: Mauricio saw that Carlota regains consciousness. The minute she heard Mauricio mentioned about separation, she sprung herself up to argue with him. At Aunt Eva’s cabin: Desiree had coaxed Juana to open the door by saying that she needs to use the washroom. Desiree informed to her that Mauricio could not come. Juana was about to leave as it serves her no purpose to be there but Desiree stopped her. She wanted her to wait awhile as she’s about to say something… Armando stayed in the car, waiting for Desiree. In the cabin, Desiree said to Juana that, Mauricio is only acting with her as Desiree can tell why Mauricio is so keen to have an interest towards her. ‘Do you want to know?’ De la Vega’s house: Mauricio came down while Carlota followed from behind trying to stop him. She yelled at him in front of her entire family. Aunt Eva & Rafael was there too. Mauricio has had enough & told Aunt Eva to take care of Rafael for him. Carlota felt devastated as she made a drastic decision by taking Rafael along with her. Amparito stopped Aunt Eva from getting Rafael back. Aunt Eva was feeling helpless. Perez house: A.Maria & Azucena did some final preparations to their house. Decorations such as balloons were seen hung all over the place. A.Maria climbed a ladder to stick a balloon near the arch but popped suddenly as she dropped Juana’s photo with a glass frame. Outside, on curvy road: Mauricio drove so fast to catch up time as he’s already late to see Juana at the cabin. He tried calling her but there was no line. He prayed that Juana is patient enough to wait for him. Carlota with Rafael tailed from behind. She too was driving very fast to catch up with Mauricio. She nearly got hit as she tried to overtake cars but managed to drive back to her lane. At Aunt Eva’s cabin: Desiree toyed & played Juana’s emotion. She slowly making her believes her every word. Juana did not believe any of her words. She told her that Mauricio loves her because of the baby that she’s carrying inside her stomach.
