Letter 46 -- Telepathy Wednesday, February 22, 1978–2:32 p.m. Our dear Brothers of the Earth, We know how curious you are to discover many things about us and we wish we could tell you everything you want to know. However, that is not possible for two reasons: One is that you wouldn’t understand some of what we have to say because there are terms regarding our materials–and terms regarding technical matters that you would find meaningless. And our energy and yours would be wasted in the process. Second––for our own protection. For there are amongst you––people who seem to innocently want to know about us, but are underneath looking for ways to discover our weaknesses and vulnerabilities. You have warriors who dwell in your midst––warriors who only know distrust, bitterness and violence. And they will never believe anyone who comes in peace. Therefore––they do not trust us and we, at this point, cannot trust certain knowledge about ourselves to fall into their hands. You do have weapons that can destroy some of our ships. Therefore many of the technical questions you may wish to ask about us, we are not at liberty to answer. We know there are actual cases where we have reported to reveal the mechanisms of our crafts, however, there is never enough information given to fully divulge the entire workings. It has taken us awhile to understand the workings of the ‘earthling’s” mind––for our discriminatory powers have not, in such a long time been used to the extent that they are with you––our brothers of the earth. Many may think that we contact people indiscriminately––finding whom we can––here and there––but this is not the case. Our psychic abilities are used to find those whom we wish to contact for various purposes, and even though it seems we choose people helter skelter; we have in fact influenced them to be in a particular place at a chosen time. Also those who are not taken aboard, but see us at a given range are also touched by us––mind to mind. You see, reading and influencing minds is natural to us as we use those abilities in our work with one another and others. This form of communication requires a fraction of the energy that you people use. It is much faster and more direct, for words are not needed to form what we wish to convey; we merely think it and it is done. Hence we are able to ‘hear’ your thoughts, but you are not ours. Some of you we wish you could; others it is best that you cannot. Many of the things we do seem so ‘supernatural’ to you, but we can assure you they are more natural than your gift of speech. Speech has its place; when people such as leaders, etc. want to reach the minds and hearts of many at one time. However, for the communion between one mind and the other, telepathy is far more advised due to its energy and time saving qualities. For you to think it is more natural to speak than to commune telepathically is to say that driving an automobile is more natural than walking. However the analogy breaks down because your vehicles are faster than walking and we are talking about saving time and energy. But let us explore this a little further; speed is not always the most expedient. You people are so obsessed with speed at getting things done that you often miss the essentials. We are trained and taught at a very early age to gather details about everything that we do. Achieving our duties quickly is meaningless if we have not taken the necessary time to know and learn all there is about that which we are undertaking. For then we gain knowledge which leads us to wisdom so that whatever we do, no matter how small, it is done thoroughly and with expertise. You people have mottoes––we do too––and one of ours is: Whatever we undertake, our goal is to discover all there is to know and learn about that situation––so that the essence of it is with us forever. If only you, our brothers, took the time––the precious time to understand one another that you spend in gathering material objects, your planet wouldn’t be in the trouble that it is. Again we reiterate here, what we’ve said before; slow down–lower your pace and look around you and discover what is really important. And when you find that which is truly essential and a jewel to your life, get to know it and know it well until you become at one with it––so that the essence in it and the essence in you, merge. This is one of the secrets of a peaceful life and a major step towards renewing that which has always been yours––telepathic communication. ––Take Our Hands–– |
