Letter 36 -- Intuition Wednesday, August 3, 1977 –5:44 p.m. Greetings from Our Hearts to Yours, and Blessings to you all. The Heart is the seat of understanding and of Judgment–for what is true and genuine judgment but Intuition? The Heart is the connector of the conscience with that which is Truth; hence it is the womb of Intuition. Intuition comes from many places Our Friends; from the individual soul, from the collective knowledge and wisdom of all people, and from the Heart of the Brotherhood. Thus the very important reason why We have spent so much time in asking and urging you to clear your Hearts through the process of learning, understanding and most important–the Blessing of others. The Heart that is clouded with that which holds you from becoming a blessing Spirit is the Heart that is not an open door to Intuition. And Intuition is one of the ways in which We speak and communicate with you in all matters. Have you ever been in a position when you needed more understanding about the situation and you look to us for that aid? Think on it and you will discover that the times you did not receive the needed help was because your Heart was not free to receive what We were truly sending. For We were indeed trying, to help–as no call goes unanswered, however, are you also aware of the times you have asked for one thing and deep down held onto that which was the reverse? Do not mock Us, and do not become fools yourselves, by believing that We are able to override all of the negative ways of responding to life that you hold on to out of habit. We have no time to send you aid and relate that to you which is healing to the situation if you do not truly desire it. Search your Hearts and search them well, for many of you are not honest with Us–much less are you honest with yourselves. We work diligently and We work hard, surpassing many obstacles with those who are deeply in love with that which is the Will of God in every occurrence. When that Will becomes your all pervading goal, then and only then does Intuition become truly yours, and We, at that point, move swiftly as the channel is clear and presents no hindrances to Us. We do not wish to chastise, Our Loved Ones, but it is so important that you understand what We mean. For We are not ogres–holding back that which is good for you. You keep away that which you need by not believing that His Will is all that ever matters in your life. Intuition
bears the mark of His Will; do not ask for it unless you are willing to
accept whatever it sends and whatever it asks of you; be careful and
keep a wary eye for that portion of your desire nature that seeks its
Will. Pray that His Will be yours–rather than the reverse. It takes a
kingly person of unusual development to understand and intuit what We
mean here and then apply it to his or
her daily life. The cry for the unfoldment of the Intuitional nature
takes courage, one pointedness, a sense of one’s Self, and a drive
that will not be denied under any circumstances. Seek… |
