1. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: For those not familiar with REDIMONI give us a brief band
bio..
CARLES: Hello Wilhelm and all Dark Recollections Zine readers!!
REDIMONI , a four-headed beast born from the ashes of Growing Cells, started playing insane Thrash Metal around the year 2000. It was initially created as a side-project but it soon took shape as a proper band with a clear path to follow, and that is playing Thrash Metal! After several gigs and good response from the crowd we decided to keep up with our compositions and push forward the
band. During Spring 2005 we recorded for the first time our stuff. Songs that attracted the attention of Witches Brew label www.witches-brew.org , which releases Thrash Metal as it�s best. Shortly afterwards, we signed our very first record deal with the aforementioned label! Our very first MCD, entitled �The Onset of Chaos�, contains eight songs and is being released by late 2005
2. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Introduce band members...who does what , plays what instruments?
CARLES: Our Music and lyrics are orchestrated by:

His real name is Francesc and he also plays guitars plus vocals
3. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: How long has this line up been together... is this the original
line up?
CARLES: Yeah, we keep the original line up. We have a great relationship with each other and we feel very comfortable. Everything comes quite smoothly. I like that, I�m not sure it would be that fun with other people.
4. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Whose idea what is to the band REDIMONI (translate name)
CARLES: It's actually a Catalan curseword. "Dimoni" means demon and ReDimoni is used just as an expression to swear and curse. Also "re-demon" can be read as something or someone more than demonic! We thought it was appropriate for a band whose members enjoy playing an insane and evil Thrash Metal!
5.DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Talk about your debut Cd "Onset of Chaos" for WITCHES BREW from
Germany...
 CARLES: It contains 8 tracks in 20 minutes of pure thrash metal madness!! Our music gathers the raw, straightforward thrash version from the classy European acts plus some American influence as well. Since we have also two vocalists, our delivery are quite different form one another. Mine are infernal and possessed while Francesc�s dwell into the usual thrash metal style. The combination is a blast!!
We do our best to come up with something done with our hearts, energetic and powerful.
6. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: How did the deal with WITCHES BREW come about?
CARLES: I knew Cheryl (Witches Brew boss) during a visit in Germany in summer 2004 and I learnt about her label and the kind of music she releases. I really felt identified with her tastes and once we recorded our stuff I sent her a CDR right away. She liked it and offered us a deal which we
happily accepted.
7. Can we expect a vinyl release of "Onset of Chaos"?
CARLES: I don�t really know. All matters concerning the release and its format are taken care by our label. I think it�s still very early since our CD has been launched very
recently.
8. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: What is the song "the seven plagues unleashed" about... what
inspired
its lyrics?
CARLES: I wrote that lyric inspired
in the idea of the Apocalypse coming true. How their faith turns against humankind and famine, death, pest and plagues of that nature strike hard leaving the world in Darkness.
9. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: What kind of distribution is planned for "onset of Chaos" will it
be
available outside
of
Europe?

10 DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Spain is not very much known for its extreme metal bands... what is
the
scene like
where you live... any bands you recommend checking out?
CARLES: There�s plenty of bands over here, mostly into Death Metal. I�d mention Avulsed (Death Metal) and Shemhamphorash
(Black Metal)
11. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: If you could pick musicians to jam with... who would you pick...
and
what
would the outcome of the music be?
CARLES: I�d choose Tom Araya and Dave Lombardo to play some Show No Mercy tracks!!!!
