6. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Talk about your latest Cd "The Monad of Creation"

- It's our second Cd release for Weirdd Truth Productions... the culmination of years of work from us. A massive amount of work and time went into it, not just the recording itself, but also the compositions. It serves our name well, and contains all our strongest elements sown through the ages before it. And most importantly, it's a massive relief for us to have this morbid weight lifted off our shoulders!




7. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Are you satisified with the outcome of the recording? - Indeed yes. It's possibly not 100% whhat I imagined, but it's pretty damned close. It's better than any previous recording of ours. Most aspects were envisioned at some point, if not intensely thought out.

8. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Can we expect a new Cd in the near future?
- You can expect a new 7" EP in 2006, aand a new full length in 2007.

9. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Is MOURNFUL CONGREGATION a studio only band, or do you get to play live... what are some of the bands you have shared the stage with?

At this stage, we are only a studdio band, and could quite possibly remain that way for ever. But who knows???

10. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Are you or anyone in the band involved in other projekts? (names, websites?)

Yes, we all are in fact in other bands. I am part of STARGAZER among others, and our other guitarist is part of CHALICE.

11.DARK RECOLLECTIONS: In your opinion If THERGOTHON was still around... what do you think their music would use like...would they have evolved with time... changed style of playing, or remained the same?

I really feel they would have pisssed me off for changing too much, like most other Doom bands of the era. So I am thankful they delivered what they needed to, and kept their legacy pure. I must say I really like what certain members went onto. Namely THIS EMPTY FLOW. But that music would not have suited THERGOTHON.
