1. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Give us a brief band bio..

CHAQ MOL: 2000 was the year Antichrist was suppose to come to earth and dominate the living, did he come? Did Mordichrist come?Yes! have we dominate?
Mordichrist start to be a dual member union with one strong will, Nenia and Chaq Mol . With help from Loomroot on drums.
2001 We entered the subsonicstudio to record our first Demo "The root of the embryo." We got some good reviews , to mention one 6/10 in Close- Up magazine.
2002 was the time when "Hatred on Repeat" was created, with same line-up and studio we have on our first release.
2003 Was the year we released our third effort "The Blood Rise" who was released on our own label Diablo Records New drummer Stefan Olsson from Human Rage did the drum works. We got many god reviews , and lots fans who bought it from our website. It was also the year that I (Chaq Mol) replaced Dominion in Dark Funeral.
2004 I was busy with Dark Funeral this year, so it was not much activity in Mordichrist this year.
2005 We got a Record deal with Danza Ipnotica Records. Our first official release with Danza Hipnotica. is Mordichrist 10 inch MLP S/T. we also planned to release a 7" Ep through Danza Hpnotica.This year or in the beginning of next year. We done some interviews. We got two new members in the Mordichrist clan, Lix Tetrax on bass and Af Dictator on drums. More to come in 2006

2. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Introduce current band members...who does what, plays what instruments?

3. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: How hard was it to find band members that fit into the idea of what you envisioned MORDICHRIST to be?

CHAQ MOL: It was never our goal to have permanent members, but of course, with Chaq Mol and Nenia as the dictators it could be difficult to find the right people, as we started just as a project from hell.

4. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: How did you meet your partner on the dark arts NENIA?

CHAQ MOL: We played in a band in 1992 called Arkham Asylum and we shared the same dark minded thoughts in music and life philosophy, then we met again, still with the same ideas. Then in 2000 the root of the embryo was born Mordichrist.

5. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: what have you released so far... what has been the response so far?

CHAQ MOL: . Mordichrist - S/T [10" MLP/2005]

. Mordichrist- The Root Of The Embryo [Demo/2001]
More than we expected when we started. We got good reviews in zines lots of fan mails and interests In the band. We got questions when we are gonna play live we've got interests from other labels.

6. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: talk about yer latest self titled Mlp on Danza Iptonica Records...

CHAQ MOL: They contacted us for a release a full length LP but we didn't have any new songs ready at that point, so we decided to release a 10 " MLP with 4 songs from all of our earlier demos.

7. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: has there been any interest from other labels to release your dark art into Cd?

CHAQ MOL: we got other labels who's interested, but right now we are gonna release a 7 "Ep vinyl with Danza Ipnotica records, then we will see

8. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Can we expect a new MORDICHRIST Cd/Lp in the near future?

CHAQ MOL: First this 7 inch ep vinyl after that we will start to write for our first full length cd.

9. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Is MORDICHRIST a studio only band ... do you get to play live... what are some of the bands that you have played with?

CHAQ MOL: From the begining it was meant to be a studio band only, but later we got many questions from fans and venue organizer.When are you gonna play live you fukkers? So we maybe have to still there dark desires. Maybe not.

11. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: back in the late 80s there was a lot of demo trading ... do you ... or did ya ever do any trading with people from other countries?

CHAQ MOL: In the Early 90`s we changed demos with our friends mostly in Sweden but also with other countries

12.DARK RECOLLECTIONS: do you get any mail from fans... what is the most strange place you ever got a package/letter from?

CHAQ MOL: yes we got lot of fan mails. The most exotic countries all the way from Phillipines, Australia and Mexico
