Krelian: We have Mordred on Lead Guitar, Hrothgar on Bass and myself on guitars and vocals. I've been the main song writer/arranger; everybody contributes something though to the mix. We also have a new drummer we've been working with, but I will reveal the full lineup when it comes to be.







4. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: How long has current line up been together...is this the original line up... or have there been any line up changes?

Krelian: This is not the original lineup, I'm actually the only original member of the band. Mordred has been in the band since around October or November of 2004 and Hrothgar joined the band in late 2002. Recently our last Drummer Cedron and Keyboard player Anna left the band, and since then we've found a new drummer but are looking for a keyboard player to complete the lineup.

5.. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Who came up with the name INQUINOK... does the word have a special meaning?

Krelian: Our original Drummer came up with the name Inquanok, which I changed the A to an I because I thought it looked better and everyone agreed so we went with that. Tyburn (Our original drummer) got the name from an H.P. Lovecraft story; I believe it's something like the city of the dead or something similar.

6. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Have you released any demos, how where they received by the metal underground?

Krelian: Yes, we released our demo back in 2003 right around the time we started playing shows. The demo is entitled "Shadows Amongst the Moonlight", which is one of the songs on the demo as well as the album we just released. The demo was received really well by most, got some good reviews in magazines and zines, the production wasn't great but the demo has great atmosphere and good material.

7. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Talk about your debut Cd "Entranced by Twilight's Gaze"

Krelian: Finally getting to release this album is a big thing for us, I know it is for me we've been through some tough times to get this album out there. The album features 10 songs, 9 normal ones and 1 instrumental. I'm really proud of all the material on the album, their really is something for most people when it comes to the material, there is some really melodic songs and then their are more aggressive/harsher and darker material, and a good combinations of different styles. The album is a concept album of a story I came up and it goes in chronological order, I like to think of every song being a different chapter in the story.

8. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Is this a self released Cd (released by the band) ... if so why did you choose to release Cds on your own.... rather than having a record label release it for you?

Krelian: Yes this is a self release at the moment; we had some problems with the label we were going to release it on and decided to do it on our own. The label stopped responding all of sudden and then they ended up tanking so we really didn't have a choice but to put it out ourselves. We are currently looking for a label though to work with.

9. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: How many Cds will be released... have you gotten any metal distros interested in selling your Cds... or will the Cd only be available from the band?

Krelian: Well the cds will be made as long as there is demand, if we run out we'll make more, if a label picks us up, I'm sure they will re-release it under them. Right now the cds are only available through us.

11. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: What is the song "Shadows Amongst the Moonlight" about... and what inspired it?

Krelian: The song "Shadows Amongst The Moonlight" is about change, or about foreseeing what's about to happen in the future from the perspective of a watcher of the sort. At least that's the first half of the song, the song kind of changed narrative towards the end and is from the opposite perspective. It's a really dark song for the most part, can't really say what inspired the song; I was just going for a song that combined a lot of different feelings and atmospheres as well as musical styles.

12. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Have you gotten any offers to tour outside of yer state?

Krelian: I don't recall any tour offers, we've been offered to play out of state quite a few times. I would love to do an American or European tour but first we want to get a full lineup to be able to do so.
