1.DARK RECOLLECTIONS: for those not familiar with GOAT HORN give us a brief band bio...

GOAT HORN: Goat Horn arose from the depths of the Ottawa Valley, in small town Pembroke Ontario, Canada in late 1999. Composed of Jason Decay (lead vocal / bass), Brandon Wars (guitar) and Steel Rider (drum throne), Three friends who like to drink, laugh and pound Metal. We've been a band for about 5 years, and friends for about 10-12. We all have a pretty equal musical vision, so here we are in Goat Horn trying to make the most of it...

2. DARK RECOLLECTIONS:How long has current line up been together... is this the original line up? GOAT HORN: Forever, we are the 3 guys that started the band.

3. DARK RECOLLECTIONS:How many demos, Cds has GOAT HORN released so far... what has the response from the underground metal scene like?

GOAT HORN: We have 3 CD's out since 2001.Goat Horn debut "Voyage To Nowhere" Cd(2001), 2003 sees the release of Goat Horn's second coming, "Storming The Gates" Cd , and "Threatening Force" Cd limited edition Ep (2004)The response has been great, we can't wait to unleash an album this year!

4. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: In today's polluted metal scene not many bands play GOAT HORN 's style... what inspired you to play this type of music?

GOAT HORN: This is pretty much the malgamation of music that we want to hear ourselves, so that's what we play. We just went straight for the goods; fuck whatever junk other people are doing.

5. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Talk about your latest Cd "Threatening Force"

GOAT HORN: This was recorded almost a year ago as a demo for our next album. We decided to release it because people are hungry, and we knew it would be a while before we put another full length out.

6. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Is this cd being released by the band themselves or a record label?
GOAT HORN: Everything we have released thus far has been on our own. Our next album should be out on a label this fall...

7. DARK RECOLLECTIONS:What is the song "Fate Strikes" about... what inspired its lyrics?

GOAT HORN: Its about how fate can be the ultimate deciding factor in any sort of success or failure in life. Its kinda inspired about our own lives... how we're trying to make the most of em, but really anything can happen good or bad, no matter what.

8.DARK RECOLLECTIONS: what is the metal scene like where you live... any bands you recommend checking out?

GOAT HORN: Its not bad, its definetly getting better. There's the classic bands still slugging around like Anvil, Exciter... and there's also some awsome younger bands like Rammer and Kill Cheerleader that come to mind.

9. DARK RECOLLECTIONS:Does GOAT HORN get to play live much... what are some of the bands you have shared the stage with?

GOAT HORN: Yes, we play as often as we want and we have shared the stage with many bands. Some highlights I guess would be Raven, Exciter, Razor, Anvil, Death Angel, Tchort, Trouble, Thor, Rammer, Illuminati, TTD, Widow... actually, I could go on for a while, so just check our tour archive if this really interests you... but as always, Killing Cheerleaders!

10. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: If you could pick the perfect touring package...(past and present) what bands would you choose?

GOAT HORN:?? I'd have to think about that for a while. Probably Metallica for sure,(before they turned nu poser gay metal!!!) any of my favourite bands really...

11. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Can we expect a new full lenght album from GOAT HORN in the near future?
GOAT HORN: This fall man.(2006!!!)
