1. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: for those not familiar with the metal machine known as MIDNIGHT
give a brief band bio.
ATHENAR: i started this fucking band around 1983. it was just myself, i'm too much for most people to handle. i just wanted to have songs like some of faves like venom, saxon, motorhead and stuff like that.
2. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Introduce band members...(who does what, plays what instruments)
ATHENAR: it's just myself (athenar). like i said before nobody wants to deal with me!
3. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: what has MIDNIGHT released so far(demos, Eps, Lps) and what has the
response to releases been like?
ATHENAR: it's been a 12" mini-lp, a 7", a song on the outbreak of evil vol.2 7" and then a cd of all the shit and more on one disc. i couldn't give two shits about anybodys response.
4. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Talk about your latest release "Complete and total fukking Midnight" on SHIFTY
records.. ATHENAR: .it's a cd with fucking songs on it!! This disc complies all the recorded material up to this point (15 songs) by Black Metal/Thrasher/NWOBHM fanatic Athenar .
5 DARK RECOLLECTIONS: Can we expect a MIDNIGHT full length any time in the near future?
ATHENAR: nuclear war now! is putting out a double lp very soon.

7. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: What inspires MIDNIGHT's music and lyrics... ?
ATHENAR: all the cretins and douchebags that surround me.
8. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: what is the song "Long Live Death" about and what inspired it?
ATHENAR: to me it means most good death metal stopped around 1985. and that's the kind that should live the longest.
9. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: when it comes to music... what styles of music do you listen to... bands?
ATHENAR: anything that keeps my attention for the amount that i need it to. if you listen to the midnight stuff you can kinda guess what i listen to. there's not much spandau ballet or tears for fears in my record collection!
10. DARK RECOLLECTIONS: there is word going around about a MIDNIGHT and RAMMER show
in Canada... tell us about this show... any chance show would get videotaped
for those not fortunate to be at the show to witness MIDNIGHT in a live setting?
ATHENAR: we're doin 3 gigs w/ the rammers feb. 16, 17, and 18. i don't do too many gigs, but the rammers asked politely, so what the fuck!!? there's always a chance of anything happening. the interesting video would be the post-gig party!
