The November
meeting featured effects that were related to Holidays and special occasions. Greg
McNeil performed a bill
through bill penetration effect with two dollar bills folded in half using the
patter of money found in a Christmas card.
Jerry Tupper adapted a sliding die box to present a Halloween theme
involving a vanishing witch. The die had
a white Halloween cover with a witch on it.
The patter was borrowed from Macbeth’s “Double, Double, Toil and
Trouble.” Allen Broomfield
demonstrated an effect where he predicted which card was written on the date in
a planner that corresponded to an audience member’s birth date (guest Carol Stoens, who brought her son).
