The Peoria Magicians Assembly meets on the first FRIDAY of the month from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at the West Bluff Christian Church, 2018 W. Kellogg St., West Peoria, IL. There's nosleight-of-hand. But, good, practical material for the average magic club member. And, there's a variety of material .... rope, scarves, coins (but stand-up style), etc. Then, totally separate from the lecture is a dealer demo on a variety of props (that will be available for purchase). But, you don't have to buy anything special to do the lecture material. Ron London
Directions to West Bluff Christian Church:Take I-74 into Peoria, exit at Bradley University/University St. South Exit (76B). Take University St. south to the second stoplight. Turn right onto Main St. (Avanti's Restaurant).Go past the overhead stoplight at Bradley Fieldhouse and the next stoplight at Bradley Park. Two blocks down Main St. curves left and continues onto Western Ave. Go pastthe stoplights at Hardee's and McDonald's. Two blocks further, past the Kentucky Fried Chicken and before the auto parts store, turn right (west) onto Kellogg St. Go one blockand park in back of the church. We will be in the basement.

Held at Jumer's Castle Lodge Restaurant in Peoria from 6-9 p.m. About 40 people were in attendance. Don and Dorothy Shultz presented a fine magic show for our enjoyment. David Sheetz handed out wrapped presents to members and gave gifts to guests in attendance. The banquet room was reminiscent of The Magic Castle in Hollywood and was called "The Library." One wall was lined with actual books and a brass-looking owl was perched in one corner. The tables were large and we were seated in a "u" formation. Don and Dorothy performed at one end of the room in front of a light blue jet set that they brought with them. We want to especially thank them for coming and helping us have an enjoyable evening.
