Meeting (Monday, November 20) –
Andy Dallas, current S.A.M. President and owner of Dallas and Company Costumes
and Magic in Champaign, IL, visited us this month. Gordon Snow and Grant Golden were awarded
framed letters of appreciation by Andy from the S.A.M. for their
contributions. Greg Joyce received a
letter of appreciation for his work with youth magic programs. Andy showed everyone a couple card effects,
one with a series of rows and columns where a row or column is selected each
time and an outside card removed until the revelation of the final card is made
and another one where a packet of cards Ace through Ten are used and cut
several times if desired, then the spectator selects a number from 1 to 10, and
the corresponding chosen card is located from the face down packet by means of
a count. It was decided that club dues
would be $20.00 for 2007. Dues are payable
to: PMA, c/o Jerry Tupper, 2029 W. Rohmann Ave., West
Peoria, IL, 61604 for the 2007 calendar year.

MAGICIANS ASSEMBLY
The Peoria Magicians Assembly meets the THIRD Monday of the month at Leonardo’s Pizza (Party Room), 700 E. War Memorial Dr.,Peoria, IL. The club does not meet during some months including July and August. Please consult the web site for currentinformation. Guests are invited to our meetings at no charge.
