The Peoria Magicians Assembly meets the first Friday of each month at West Bluff Christian Church, 2018 W. Closing effects and Christmas effects were discussed and performed.  Gordon Snow told the Christmas tale of

the visit from Santa and his elves using a borrowed bill from the audience to demonstrate the story.  Tony impressed everyone with a new version of the self-unfolding and floating sunglasses.  Doc Lowery showed a beautiful self-coloring Christmas picture with an interesting story behind it.  Nicole Haring performed a very nice routine with Mis-Made Flag and a change bag.  Grant Golden showed a very nice version of a silk flag effect as well as a clear tube effect where a few silks turn into a large blended silk.

Directions to West Bluff Christian Church:  Take I-74 to Peoria, exit at University St. South (Bradley University) Exit 91A.  Take University St. 

to the second stoplight.  Turn right on to Main St. at Avanti's Restaurant.  Go past the overhead stoplight at Bradley Field House on the left 

and past the next stoplight at Bradley Park on the right.  Two blocks further, Main St. curves left and continues on to Western Ave.  Go past

the two stoplights on the right at Hardee's and McDonald's.  Go two more blocks, past the Kentucky Fried Chicken on the right and before the

auto parts store.  Turn right (west) onto Kellogg St.  Go one block and park in back of the church.  We meet in the basement.
