I saw John Calvert perform the entire second half of the evening show at the 2001 Abbott's Magic Get-Together in Colon, Michigan and was astounded and amazed by his ability at manipulation, showmanship and his genuine love for magic, resulting in a standing ovation.  I was fortunate to speak with John one evening and found him to be an incredibly interesting person!  I encourage everyone to see John if you have the opportunity!  -Greg Joyce, Peoria Magicians Assembly
