Joshua Jay's Brand New Lecture!  The lecture will teach effects using borrowed bills, a remote control, pocket change, cards, coins, and other objects. There will be close-up magic, stand-up magic, and even a mentalism effect. Several items will be workshopped during the lecture, and everyone will be encouraged to fold bills or learn card sleights along with Joshua. The majority of items will be within the range of the beginner. Joshua is also very happy to take questions regarding any topics or tricks discussed in the lecture, his books, or his monthly column. Even if you’ve seen or read Joshua Jay's published material before, you’ve never seen a majority of his brand new effects.

The Workshop  By popular demand, Joshua has agreed to offer a special workshop to groups and magicians interested. This three-hour event will take place the day before or the day after the lecture, and will be limited to the first twelve people to sign up. This workshop will cover different material than the lecture. Every item will be a hands-on learning experience. Each participant will leave the workshop able to perform three card effects, a coin effect, a borrowed bill routine, and several useful sleights.  As a bonus, every participant will receive a complimentary Overlap gimmick (a 10 dollar value). This specially printed Bicycle card gaff that allows you to perform over twelve eye-popping effects. Joshua will discuss the theory and construction of each effect and will field any questions participants may have. If the group wants to work on a double lift, he’ll teach five methods! If the group wants to talk about the matrix, two versions will be taught. Don’t miss the opportunity to have a private-style lesson with Joshua Jay.

More about Joshua Jay (www.joshuajay.com)  Specializing in sleight-of-hand magic which is done close up and with ordinary props, Joshua's unique style has earned him the critical acclaim necessary to maintain an international performing schedule. Using just a pack of cards, coins, and a few other objects, Joshua wields miracles of animation, transposition, and penetration with the audience only inches away from his hands.  Joshua Jay has been performing magic professionally since he was 10 years old. At just 23, Joshua has already accomplished more than most magicians will in their entire lives. Having won several major awards, he is also a headlining lecturer. A respected author on magic, Joshua is a monthly columnist for MAGIC Magazine, has written two best-selling magic books, his first published in four languages. He has also been published in every major magic periodical. A performer for distinguished politicians and major celebrities by night, Joshua is a full-time Ohio State University Honors student by day. Juggling his frenetic schedule is one of his greatest tricks!  The future looks bright for Joshua Jay. Whether he is on another world tour, performing his one-man show, or working on a degree in International Business, it is clear that Joshua's presence in magic is real. The future of magic is in his hands.
