Alliances and Combatants
After you have completed the sign-in process, you should go to the scenario descriptions and look for the following:
Victory Conditions: Before all else, you will probably want to know what your goals / targets will be in the game. Some or all of these are posted on the main scenario page or you will receive them in a personal email. If they are mailed, then these victory conditions are visible to you only and you will have to decide if you want to share them with alliance members.
Example: Scenario Description and Victory Conditions
Alliance: Your next step should probably be to contact your alliance members. The "Alliance" page in your scenario descriptions contain the name and email addresses of all players commanding units. Although levels of cooperation are left up to the combatants, there seems little reason not to engage with alliance members in planning a strategy.
Example: Alliances and Combatants (Panama Gambit)
Units: Next, you should look at the Order of Battle to find out which units you will be commanding. By selecting a unit from the OOB you view the unit's properties and by selecting the weapon you can see details such as strength, range, speed, ...
