Economic Points

Economic points (EP) are associated with terrain squares, usually but not necessarily those squares containing properties such as "City", "Factory" or "Mine".

All EPs for terrain owned by a combatant at the end of a turn are added up to a total economic value for that combatant. Combatants use economic points to rearm their units (rearm in this case referring to unit strength) and to reach any victory conditions which might be associated with economic values.

Note: At this time, economic points are needed to supply units or to build new units during an ongoing game. Both of these are under consideration but will probably not be implemented any time soon.
