Terrain Properties

Terrain properties are the infrastructure on a terrain square. Any building or other "improvement" of a terrain square is a property (the only exceptions are road and rail lines which are handled and discussed separately). Every terrain square can have at most one property assigned to it.

Property types will change from one scenario to the next but a number of them will probably be present in most if not all scenarios. Cities, towns, harbors and bridges are all examples of available properties but the player will have to check each scenario to find out which have been defined. the "Panama" scenario for example contains a property named "Locks" in order to map the three lock systems of the Panama Canal.

Economic Points

Most properties have economic point assigned which are discussed in detail in the "Economy" section.

Supply Points

Some terrain properties also have supply point assigned which are discussed in detail in the "Supply" section.

Armor Points

A number of terrain properties (such as forts) also have armor points assigned, increasing the armor values for units stationed on that square (see also "Armor")

Sight Range

Some properties also increase the sight range of any unit stationed on that square (see also "Sight Range").

Power Projection

A number of properties will also augment the power projection values of a unit stationed on the same terrain square. Squares such as "Airport" and "Harbor" in the "Panama" scenario give units stationed there a much higher power projection value (see also "Power Projection")
