Learning by Example - Introduction

The following examples explain a number of key concepts and commands in a step-by-step process. Remember that all the math on these pages is done by the PBeM-Engine so it concerns you only if you are interested in the inner workings. If, for example, you know that firing down a hill at an enemy unit is of advantage, then you really don't need to know exactly how this is calculated, it is enough to take advantage of the fact and let the system do the rest. None the less, it is important to understand how the system calculates casualties in order to profit from these rules.
