"THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS"
I know Christmas is coming,
it's just around the bend
That special place you set for me,
has now come to an end.
I won't be sitting at the table,
nor laughing aloud with glee
Jesus had to take me to Heaven,
it's where I needed to be.
I know your heart aches,
and the spirit of Christmas is gone
The lights and tree aren't up this year,
no caroling of songs.
The gifts you exchange with family,
on every Christmas Eve
Has to wait until next year,
alone in the dark you grieve.
I asked my Father in Heaven,
to place a gift under your tree
It is wrapped in mystical paper,
a special message from me.
It is my prayer for you,
to bring you comfort and peace
My spirit was once embodied,
given chance of knowing me.
It's just a small reminder,
of all the love we once shared
Know that I am with you always,
my spirit envelops the air.
Look to your memories,
find them deep within your mind
Know the true meaning of Chistmas,
and the miracle of time.
