"Thanksgiving"

What do I have to be thankful for, what can I say?
Thank you Lord for giving me, just one more day.
Thank you for each breath I take, means I'm alive
Each and every step I take, I'm not immobilized.

Arms reaching out for you, spirit within my soul
Thankful for love I have, given back tenfold.
Birthson who found me, heart is on the mend
Thank God you heard me, he is Heaven sent.

Thankful for family, heart fulfilled with love
Blessed Mom who's healthy, treasure from above.
Friends are hard to find these days, keeping close to me
Physically I see everyday, many I have yet to meet.

Thankful for insight, sense of humor, honesty
Love and compassion are my priceless entities.
This is who I am, humble is my soul
I stand before you Father, worth it's weight in gold.

Packed in cornucopia, horn of plenty overflows
These are all the gifts I have, neatly tied with bows.
As I bow my head in prayer, for all I say and do
Thanksgiving is everyday, thankful I have YOU.

This page is dedicated to Sue, who built my site
Family, friends, treasures of my life.
Adoption triad, sissie Ary, Marlene too,
With all my love, from me to you.
