VizPaint2D provides electronic versions of traditional art tools for creating and enhancing computer images. It features a complete set of brushes, gradations, shapes, and fills, including:
- tools for retouching existing images and enhancing them with backgrounds, text, and special effects
- a sequence tool for painting multiple images in a sequence
- a layer tool for viewing two image layers together and seeing background and alpha channel changes as you make them
- alpha channel (or "matte channel") access for controlling the transparency of your pictures
- a mask tool for creating masks to protect portions of your pictures as you paint
VizPaint2D is the perfect companion for any 3D or 2D software, including the Advanced Visualizer and Composer. Pictures are resolution-independent, so you can use them in video, film, HDTV, or high-resolution print.
