Saving your picture

Your finished picture should look something like the one in figure 92.

Figure 92 Finished tutorial picture

Before exiting VizPaint2D, you need to save your finished picture or all your work will be lost.

To save your picture:

  1. Select picture(TM)save.

A list of available canvases and their corresponding swatches are displayed. Since the tutorial canvas is the current canvas, a swatch is not shown.

  2. Click tutorial in the list.

The swatch of your finished picture is displayed.

  3. Click ok.

The save tool shows a swatch of your finished picture.

  4. To save your picture in a different area or directory, click and drag over the pathname shown in the area text box and enter in a new one.
  5. Click ok.

VizPaint2D saves your file in the default format specified in the .imfrc file. For more information, see Image Configuration File on page 474

  6. If you are finished working in VizPaint2D, click exit in the control panel.

The prompt "Exit VizPaint2D?" is displayed. If you have any modified, unsaved files, VizPaint2D will prompt you to save them.

  7. Click ok.

VizPaint2D returns you to the operating system.
