There are several ways you can learn to use VizPaint2D:

• Strike out on your own. VizPaint2D is very straightforward and easy to use. So if you are comfortable with your computer, just start clicking on buttons and experimenting.

• Follow the step-by-step tutorial. If you have never used an electronic art or paint package, the tutorial in chapter 4 will help you feel confident using VizPaint2D.
• Move on to advanced techniques. Chapter 5, "Tips and Tricks," offers shortcuts and special techniques to help you quickly advance to the ranks of advanced users.
