Silk is hung on the walls to re create that elegance form the 18th Centuary. The room is most prominatly used during the inaugural ceremony when the Dressing of the Presidential Regalia by the Arch Bishop of Kensington is enacted in this room. |
| In July of 2006, the Center Room underwent a major redecoration, and the room's colour scheme was transformed from white panneling and red carpet to that of shimmering Blue and Gold.
