Helloween Crafts! Learn about how to make a spooky spiderweb crepe and Pumkin Platters with Orange flower Peonies...all out of paper!
October - Novevmber 2004
The State Dining Room Decked out in Pumkin Glory!

To make the
Pumkins, you need orange construction paper. Tear out about 8cm by 8cm of paper ( a square) and crush it up into a ball. Use PVA Glue or UHU glue to stick it all together. After that, cut a small strip of black or brown paper and stick it to one end of the ball. Use a black felt pen to mark out the Pumkin's eyes and mouth! You can go over the pumkin with a brown colour pencil to make out the lines and textures of the pumkin!

To make
dried Flower Peonies, you need brown, orange and yellow paper. Cut out very thin strips of paper of each colour. Then you roll it into tiny balls and crush them all together. Fasten with glue the 'flowers' onto a long strip of black paper crushed into a stick with glur. Then , make the stick stand upright onto a cardboard base 2cm by 2cm, and you'll have your flower peonie!

To make the spooky spiderweb crepe, (picture above) youll need a piece of Transparency about 5cm by 7cm. Mark out with black felt pen onto the transparency to make the spiderweb. crush three sticks of black paper and fasten the plack paper at the edges of the transparency. Faster the structure ont a blak base cardboard 3cm by 5 cm. After than decorate with pumkins and flowers at the base!

P.S. (Cobwebs can be made from UHU glue...)
