| The Presidential Seal or coat of Arms represents the Lion Segious. The Seal is derived from the Kingdom of Lento, during the golden era of the Kingdom of Genoa Anashanko. THE PRESIDENTIAL STANDARD The Presidential Flag is soverign to the Presidnet himself and besides the institution of the Presidency and the Chateau, no other body flies the Presidential Flag. The President also does not fly the National Flag and when he is overseas out of of town, the President remains as the President and so does his Standard. The Flag above the Chateau is symbolic of the pwers of the Presidnet, and it remains atop the mast throught out the President's Term in Office. The Flag is only loward to the Strains of the President's Anthem once every four years, and similarly raised to that Anthem once every four years. Should the preisdnet serve a second term in office, the flag remails aloft for the whole of eight years. When the President leaves office, so does his flag, and it is symbolically given to him as he leaves the capacity of the Presidnecy. Though the Presidnetial Flag does not change form adminisration to administration, the symbolic handing over of the flag is conducted at the the Closing Ceremony of the Presidnecy. THE PRESIDNETIAL REGIMENTIAL COLOURS OF MILITARY OFFICE The Preisdential Regemential Colours of Military Office is the Flag which represents the President when he thakes on the oath the Chief of Defence Force. The Preisdnet has an incumbent Chief of Defence Force who runs the day to day operations of the Army, Navy and Air Force. However, but vertue of the office of the Preisdency, the Preisdnet is the Chief of the Armed forces. The Presidential Regemential Colours flanks the Preisndent's left when position in relation to the President's Flag, but stands alone when the Preisdent takes on the Defense Role. However, the Regemential Colurs are not present when the Preisdnet speaks on the Presidential diplomatic side of office. when the Preisdnet represents the full office of the Presidency, the colours flank his left. When the President attends an event where he represents as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, the Regemental Colours are flown on his Limosine. THE INAUGRAL CEREMONY & THE CLOSING CEREMONY The intricacies of the ceremonies are planned once the election results are out. The incomming administration plans the Inaugral Ceremony while the out going administration plans the closing ceremony. Both officials come togeter days in advance to carefully orchestrate the events. The Presidential Flame by tradition is lit on election day by the Chief Justice at the steps of the Supreme Court. The flame often resides by tradition on election day till inaugral day when it is transfered to the Chateau before making it's way to the Inaugral Ceremony at the steps of State Hall. However in recent times, the incumbent Presidnet will use the flame on his campaign trains during the election period, and the flame has traveled all across the nation. The Chief justice will personally hand the flame over to the new president at the Inaugral Ceremony and he will light the Presidential Cauldron signifying the start of his administration. The flame is then put out at the end of the inaugural party. The Presidential Flag is by tradition given to the out going President who will hand over the Flag to the incoming president. By tradition, it is a cloth that has dated back to 1890 and is on permernent safekeeping at the National Vault. The current Anashanko Silk Flag has been handed down from President to President since 1964. It has a coloured frill and laces and is fastened to a wooden pole. The flag makes public apperance from time to time but it's most symbolic time is when it ishanded from one president to the next. For a Presidnet who abdecates or dies in the office, none of these ceremonies take place for the incoming president. THE INAUGRAL DECORATION The incoming Presidnet is decoprated on the morning of the inaugration at the Center Room of the Chateau. Here he will symbolicly take on the tappings of a monarch by wearing the regalia and the cloak of the Anashanko. Therse Items are on permernant desplay at the National Mueseum in Metro City. Again, none of these ceremonies take place for the sucessor of an abdicated or incapicitated President. THE EGN LIAN SHORE The Ceremonial Egn Lian Shore is performed by the President's Troopers of Colour at the Steps of State Hall every Friday when State Hall sits. It is the symbolic calling to the Lego Mountains to bring closure to another day. They then march down the National Rugby Field and down Constitution walk all the way to the South Front of the Chateau where they end their march. THE CEREMONIAL OPENING OF STATE HALL The Presidnet ceremonially presides over State Hall for twice in a year, when he symbolically calls the congress together and pleas whith them to meet agaion for the sake of the nation. He will sit on a seperate chair on Par with the President of State Hall (The Vice President) and the Speaker of Congress. During this sitting, the President's Standard is flown atop the State Hall mast and replaces the National Flag during the period when the Preisdnet is within State Hall. THE CALL OF THE FEDERATION Once a year the Presidnet addresses the Federation during his call of the Federation. This is the only time hwne he presides over State Hall and delivers his speech for the year ahead. By Tradition, the Call takes place some time between march and april. |
