| There has been much intrigue over the History pf the Presidential China Collection. Ranging and spanning over 100 Years, the Series of China evovled from administration to adminsitration. Learn about the verious historical China, and those still in Use today, and those which are only kept for display. |
| THE LENOX CHINA The Lenox China came from Lenox Lento, dating back to the 1800s. This is the first current account of China whih is desplayed in the Chateau, and at the Chateau Visitor's Center. | THE SOPHYER CHINA The Sophyer China was never comissioned by President Sophyer, but was made in honor of his move to the Chateau, clelbrating 300 years in 1905. These 1905 server plates are also used for desplay only. They number about 20 only. Created by Perseion House, WC |
| THE LENTO CHINA The Lento China comes as a gift from the decendents of the Bourbon Monarchy. It was presented in 1950 by Sir Edward Bourborn, as a commoratrion of the historic past of the Federation as a Kingdom. It numbers 100 and is still occasionally used as a State Service. | THE OEY STATE SERVICE The Oey State Service was comissioned by Presidnet Oey in the 1970s to help accomodate the ever growing need for State Dinners and Luncheons to aid the Diplomatic Corps. It is eitched in Red with Floral Motifs in Red by the Boarders and the Presidential Seal in the Middle. Often hailed as one of the President's who entertains the most, the Oey State Service was put to good use and continues to be used on a regular basis today. the State Service comes in the form of Base Plate, Service Plate, Side Plate, Coffee Cups with Saucers, and Soup Bowls. | THE JAMES STATE SERVICE The James State Service comes in the form of a Blue Rimmed with Gold Borders and motifs of the leaflets of the Southen Corps etched in the Center. THe James Service was commissoned by Presidnet James for small use, and is only used at small Luncheons or Dinners, mainly in the Residence. The James Service numbers 30, and comes in the form of Base Plates, Servie Plates and Soup Bowls. Created by Lento House, Royal Dulton, Leno BL. |
| THE KLUGER STATE SERVICE The Kluger State Service was never commissioned by President Kluger, but it is in honor of Him. In solid gold etching, it features the Chateau's South Facarde in the Center of the Plate. The plate was funded by congress in 1990 as a gift and also for pratical use for large gatherings at the Chateau. It comes in the form of Base Plate, Side Plate, Coffee Cups and Saucers. It numbers 500, the largest State Service the Chateau has. |
| THE WHITMORE STATE SERVICE The Whitmore State Service is the latest addition to the Chateau China Collection. Comissioned by President Whitmore to celebrate his eight year term in 1994, the Whitmore China is in pure white poclin with etched carvings of leaflets and roses, and the Presidential Seal etched in the center. It comes in the form of State Service, Side Plate and Coffee Cups and Saucers. It numbers 300, and created by Lento House, Royal Dulton, Lento BL. |
