I made these for the first time at the tender age of 8 and they're still a favourite!!!!

1/2 c butter
1/2 c peanut butter
1 c packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda

mix ingredients
roll into 1 '' balls and flatten with a floured fork
making that lil cross hatch pattern

bake in a 350F = 180C oven for 8 mins
or until golden brown
